First time I came here the food was not impressive and was certainly over priced. I decided to give it another try with some friends. I sat at the bar, the appetizer we ordered was good. However, the bartender had a really bad attitude and put a damper on our time. They had happy hour 4 – 6 so drinks were buy one get one free. If I ever go back in certainty sticking to appetizers.

Really good food. The portions were perfect. The temp was great and my steak was cooked as ordered. I would give it a 5Star rating is the bartender was a bit more friendly. I had to ask for refills and she was busy hanging out with her friends and what appeared giving them free drinks. It really through me off when what looked like a customer went behind the bar and made he and her friends about 4 – 5 drinks. That’s just bad business. I’m sure she worked there but it looked bad. Over all the food was great and the beer was cold. They do need to work on their professionalism. I’d go back for the food but I wouldn’t sit in the bar again.

I ordered the parm crusted tilapia only for the waitress to come tell me they didn’t serve that anymore. It took forever for our drinks to come out and we ordered water. Are mashed potatoes supposed to be cold and have chunks in them? hubby ordered fish and chips and they were extremely soggy. Probably won’t be back.

Beer was cold, frog legs were good, prime rib on point. What more needs to be said? Service was awesome even while being flooded with customers. Definitely getting my money again

I ordered the ribeye, medium rare, not only was it cooked correctly but it was very flavorful. The blue cheese dressing is made in house, according to the waitress, and it was excellent. I wanted to take a bottle of it home. The service was good and the drinks generous. The only negative is the rolls were dried out and it was a tad over priced. We will return but due to pricing, not as often as I would like.

Came here during training at FLW, had their prime cut/medium and was blown away. The dry rub they use is excellent and was cooked with the amount of pink I like. Their fries are crispy and delicious as well.

I will give it 3 stars for the wait staff as they were very good. My first inclination was to order steak, however I foind one of my favories in Parmesian Encrusted Tilapia. When it came out it was over cooked in my opinion, the crust was very dark. Would not say it was burned because it did not taset it. The talipia itself was lacking in taste, I have frankly had better from a package from Sams. I am prior military and have traveled to a few places as well as traveled since. I have found some very good restaurants, this unfortunately is not close to the top of my list. The Bay area, and the east cost have awesome seafood which is to be expected. I have however had very good seafood inland as well. If I do return I will give the steak a try.

The catfish was delicious, and the Mongolian woolongoog was the best drink i’ve had in a very long time.

I had not heard good things about this place, but decided to give it a try anyway. I will say, the staff was outstanding, it was the food that was totally sub par. We went in on a Saturday night about 5 and we were seated immediately. It wasn’t too full when we arrived, but was filling up quick by the time we left. Our waitress was pleasant and friendly and took good care of us. Their staff works as a team, so when our waitress was busy, someone else came by to refill drinks and clear up used plates. The pace was pretty good — the bread came out first, and as we were finishing that the appetizer came out, and when we finished that, the main courses came out — we didn’t feel rushed or forgotten. The bread and butter(honey cinnamon, I think) was good and we ordered crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. They were fine, a little small, and didn’t really taste of crab meat, but they were served quickly and they were good and were served at a good temperature. For the main course I ordered the Mahi Mahi with the two side options of rice pilaf and veg of the day, green beans. My companion ordered the fish and chips with french fries. The fish and chips was fine, good temperature, crispy not soggy, but didn’t look very appetizing — more like large fish sticks. The Mahi Mahi was where the real disappointment was. I was not asked how I wanted it cooked(some places that serve tuna steak give you the option just like they do with a regular steak) but figured it would be cooked through. It wasn’t. The outside was flakey, but the inside was perfectly raw — almost as if it had been placed on the grill frozen rather than thawed. The cooked part I ate was tasty, but I just couldn’t eat the raw section. The green beans, while served with bits of bacon, tasted fishy more than like they had been seasoned with bacon. They had also been cooked almost to the point of mush. And the rice pilaf was dry, as if it had been prepared earlier in the day, or the day before, and reheated. Not every place does everything well, If we go back, I’ll likely stick to a burger or something a little more simple. There are other good reviews for this place, so maybe we caught the cook on a bad day.

We had a party of 9 adults and three children. Service was super slow. Most of the entrees were good. The catfish was meh.

We stopped in here for a late dinner and a few beers while staying in St Roberts for a job. The service was incredible and the barkeep was one of the cutest, best socialized people we ever met. We enjoyed our beers while chatting with locals and have to say it was all good.

Came in for late night dinner, on a Wednesday during our cross-country road trip. We were really beat, and the waiter, was very courteous and super friendly. After a few minutes of conversation I believed he had mentioned that his parents were the owners of Aussie Jack’s, but they had long retired. Being NYawkers that are used to 24-hr food availability it was great that this out of NYC place was open at 10:30pm and still served dinner. There are a number of hotels located near the restaurant, so I am assuming that a good portion of the diners consist of tourists like us. That said, the Aussie Burger special was good. I had it done black and blue, which, in this establishment meant having a burger with blue cheese, not ordering the meat super rare. Good-sized portions, the steaks were grilled to order, but the sides were a bit on the salty side, unfortunately. There was a ton of menu choices, which on one hand were great, but the food taste, was good, not terrific. The menu, I believe was supposed to be Aussie-inspired, but just slapping a few pics of alligators and Aussie-themed décor was a bit tired, like the place’s heyday was the early 1990’s. Maybe an décor update is in order? Also, I ordered a margarita or I think it was a Gatorita and requested Patron instead of rail. It tasted so watered down, which is why I had to remove a star from this review!

Stopped here to try something different while visiting the post. The fried catfish didn’t have a lot of flavor & we weren’t sure it was really catfish! Service & atmosphere were fine, food wasn’t very good.

I don’t understand all these bad reviews. A lot of the bad reviews came from people who just went in for a drink. It’s a restaurant for crying out loud. Went in with a party of 9 and we were greeted immediately, the service was great, & I had the best catfish I’ve ever had in my entire life

Husband and I stopped in for a beer. So I can’t say anything about the food. Once we sat at the bar we were greeting immediately and fulfilled our drink order. We were also offered menus and we declined because we just had dinner someplace else. The bartender Kim was very friendly asked what our names were and what we were doing in town. Thus let to a full bar discussion about basic training since our daughter will be graduating the next day. The bartender was very knowledgeable about beers on tap and other beers which they don’t have. This made our night of beer drinking very enjoyable.

Finding this place is like a diamond in the rough. It’s very family oriented and can accommodate just about anyone from large parties to a single person. The servers are friendly and the bartenders have always greeted me with a smile and good conversation. I will admit that their prices are slightly higher than anyone else in the area but you pay for quality and their portion sizes are larger than anywhere else. Everything is home-made and you can definitely tell. They have a great happy hour 7 days a week, buy one get one free draft beers and well drinks and have a good dinner special everyday of the week as well. I would definitively try their all you can eat catfish!

I’m writing this review after walking out of the restaurant without ordering. I arrived at the restaurant and went straight to the bar, which worked out well because there was nobody to greet arriving guests. I sat at the bar and noticed immediately that the bartender was more interested in speaking with her servers than her customers. It took her a couple minutes for her to even acknowledge my presence. I ordered a glass of water and asked for a menu. The selection seemed decent, but the prices were a bit on the high side. While I was looking over the menu, the bartender was back in the corner, chatting with her servers about sexual preferences and sexual acts… I’m all for a potty mouth in a dive bar… but not a bar in a restaurant. It was enough for me to set the menu down and walk to Ruby Tuesday. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to find this place shut down when I come back to St Robert next year.

Visited twice this week since it was right next to hotel. I guess they are going for something like Texas Roadhouse or Outback Steakhouse, but have kind of missed the mark. First night I got a steak salad which was good. Also drank their IPA both nights which was … Delicious and Cold!(It’s an IPA, do u expect anything else?) Servers and staff both nights were very friendly and personable and remembered me the second night. BUT: steak prices I thought were very high — $ 17 for a sirloin at a place like this is high. Avg steak price was $ 20. A little picky, but a large beer In a glass needs a coaster or napkin to sit on or the condensation will drip in your lap every time. Both nights had to ask for a napkin(different servers) The first night they brought out 1 round bread object before my entrée(about 2inches in diameter) just on a plate — in other word no presentation. The second night they didn’t even bring that. Finally, the sign in the front reads«Steak, Seafood, and Sports» however, both Sunday night and Monday night(translation: football time) they closed EARLY and pushed the patrons at the bar out during football games(I moved to bar Sunday after dinner and I wanted to move Monday but didn’t get the chance) Recap: good food, friendly staff, poorly managed. For $ 30 a person I expect more. Buffalo Wild Wings is right across the street. I’ll be there next time.
