Baja Fresh

This place continues to make some of the best quality Mexican food around. It’s very clean, as are the bathrooms and their staff/​service is top notch. I have seen the manager take personal pride in the operation, including giving a free meal to a woman who had lost her money. Once, when my order was forgotten amidst my colleagues’ food, I was given a complimentary gift certificate without even asking. I go here for work and eat out nights. I love the steak and shrimp burritos. They have many gluten free and dairy free options. Can’t say enough.

Their consistent with service and quality of food. I’m a regular and I’ve honestly never had a bad experience. I’d give it 6 stars if allowed. Awesome place.

I wish I could give this location more then just 5 stars. I’m not a local so I only get to come in about once a month to eat but every single time is just amazing! The salsa is so good I could almost drink it, my order is not on the menu but they get it right ever time. What I want to point out most though is not only the great staff in the back and the friendly cashier but there is a man who’s been there everytime I’ve been in. I think he’s the manger as he’s always in a nice dress shirt and tie. He’s so incredibly nice and caring about everyone and everything going on in there. You guys are all amazing, thank you, thank you for the great service!

Love the food here and the fast service. The cooks are so fast and get it right every time. Not sure what the managers name is but he is so nice and always helps me with making my meal low carb. I can’t say enough great things about this place… loooove them!

Great food. The cashiers need to speak up. They yell back at the kitchen guys and turn around and speak quietly.

Wahoo Baja Bowl. One of my favorite items at Baja Fresh is their Baja Bowl as it provides a good, healthy mix of beans, rice, vegetables and meat. On my latest visit I selected the «Wahoo (ono)» as my meat, a delicate white fish that is popular in Hawaii. The flavor is wonderful — mild with a great texture. I enjoy Baja’s salsa bar and i added jalapeño slices and a hot salsa to give the bowl and added kick. If you want traditional authentic Mexican, this isn’t for you — I urge you to visit one of the many taquerias along Lancaster Drive. But for fast Americanized «Tex Mex» type food, there are some good choices at Baja.

Good service and good food for a chain restaurant. Staff was extremely polite I haven’t been to a Baja Fresh in Oregon that wasn’t good.

I have been to this place probably 30 times with my mom, it’s kind of a tradition when I visit and we go to the movies that we have lunch here either before or after and it’s basically like any other Baja fresh but the reason why I rated so high is because of the owner who is just the nicest guy you’ll ever meet who always comes out and greets all his customers one by one with a big smile and he just care so much about his business and his employees and his customers and it is apparent in his attitude, it just brightens my day.

The food is obviously great. But my real focus is the amazing manager, Alfredo! He is so nice and runs a great store!

I love Baja Fresh! This location can get rather busy, so the wait be a bit longer than normal. Cheese quesadillas are to die for, unlike what Erin H. said. Their flour tortillas are AMAZING and they come with a ton of cheese. Great combo! My hubby hates this place, so I can only go on occasion :-)

It was clean. The food was good. My only complaint is one of the girls working there yelled across the restaurant to get my attention about an order while I was talking to another person.

Well, I guess it’s OK, but it’s really not very flavorful. The salsas were so bland they literally tasted like water and the only thing I tasted in the steak burrito (nacho) was jalapeño. The quesadilla was terribly un-​delicious.
Prices are a little high, too, for the amount of food you get. The quesadilla (cheese) was $ 6 and was one tortilla folded in half. The «nachos» my son ordered consisted of a handful of chips, barely any cheese, and a few random tiny pieces of steak. And this was the ‘grande’.
To top it off, both of felt a little icky a few hours later, with my son spending a bit of time in the bathroom. Kind of weird for a place that isn’t exotic at all.

I really enjoy Baja. The manager always makes it an efficient process. Food is always good for more of a fast food experience.

I ordered a streak burrito the day my purse got stolen. My new atm card wouldn’t work, I was almost in tears, and the manager GAVE it to me. With a wink told me I could pay him tomorrow. I went back the next day and a different manager wouldn’t take my money. So nice and friendly. The place is so clean and my burrito was delicious. Really helped to restore my faith in humanity after such a bad day.

Baja Fresh is how I remembered… almost. Nice bright spotless dining room, friendly staff, well stocked salsa bar. This in a nutshell is how you qualify for 3 stars… BUT I’m here for fish tacos. I forgave BF a long time ago for the Wahoo gimic but now you are served fish tacos with what looks like a deep fried shoestring lying on top of the taco. WHERE DID THE FISH GO? I’m serious, this used to be a perfectly acceptable fast food fish taco but no more. It tastes great… crispy cabbage, delicious sauce, with a fish garnish.

This was my first time here and at any Baja Fresh. The salsa bar is a plus — they have all kinds– including pico de gallo and salsa verde. The food is fresh and the tortillas HOT. I was shocked at how hot they stayed even after 10 minutes the way they were wrapped.
The food was good, fresh and hot but not anything «special.» I had the chicken fajitas but after I saw a person with the steak– I wish I would have tried that. It wasn’t that I didn’t like my meal, I did — the steak just looked amazing. The rice was a little dry for my personal taste but still ok. The portion was more than enough — I could not eat it all, especially with the chips.
I probably would give them three stars for the food but the service warrants the fourth star as does the 99cent «lifetime» refills if you purchase their plastic cup. I feel biased because I am a super fan of Chipotle. Similar but different. It would be great to merge some of the features together (salsa bar, free chips and drink selection).

This is a good place, it’s not authentic mexican fare, but still pretty good. The burritos are tasty, the chips are a bit oily most times I go in, however when I ask for spicy I really get what i’m asking for in a good way.
The staff is friendly, and the service is about the time and wait you’d expect to get your burrito made fresh, but well worth it. Far better than taco bell, if you want something but don’t want to go to a sit down restaurant.

Its a chain… but this place has fresh food and Im a big fan of the salsa bar.
Ive never had anything that didnt taste good here.

Baja Fresh is one of my mom’s and I favorite restaurants! I go here at least once a month and always enjoy the food. I haven’t found a thing on the menu yet that I haven’t liked.
I only wish they had a bit better selection in the salsa department. What they have is ok, but it could be better.
