We had a great stay.
The employees we encountered were friendly. They accommodated our room requests. Our room was super quiet and bed was very comfortable. TV had great reception and plenty of channels. Wifi worked well. The pool & hot tub were great: not too much chlorine and water temperature perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was standard fare.
If we’re back though Salem again we will definitely return

Unlike other reviews, I had a really good experience at this hotel. I was
on a road trip up Pacific Coast Highway and this was my last stop before Seattle. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was a perfect set up with a queen bed separate from a desk and a sofa (living room area). TV was a modern swivel Samsung such that you could watch TV in bed or in the living room area. Bed was very comfortable. They accepted my cat and he felt very comfortable after being in the car all day. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed here in August, 2014, for 7 days while judging Oregon State Fair.
The hotel is a bit on the outskirts, you would need a car to get around. Moving about would run a lot of cab fares. They should have a shuttle. That is the only negative for me.
The hotel is pretty new. The rooms are well equipped, new Samsung flat screens. all amenities that are expected are there.
They have one of the BEST breakfast selections, and, I stay in a lot of hotels. They also serve a small dinner three nights (which I did not try). Since the only restaurant nearby is Dennys (about 6 blocks) – good thinking.
The staff is genuinely on the ball. The pool is well maintained — — -

The management’s main concern when I contacted them was the bad reviews I gave them. Another example of their customer service … My opinion is my option, if you want better reviews improve the quality of your staff

This hotel is anti-​customer service. My fridge broke and ruined food. Not their problem. The dryer wouldn’t dry for another woman. Not their problem. The stairwell smells like BO (the main front stairs from the lobby to my room), what do I expect them to do about it? It went on for 4 days. All of this was not from an underpaid employee, but the hotel manager.

Was here for a training class today. We were in the Oregon Room. Nice facility. Room was adequate for the class. One thing about a training room that always is a bother is the room temperature, the room was just the right temp.
I liked the touch of a single cup coffee dispenser in the meeting room! Worked great, however the brand of coffee they serve needs to be upgraded… tasted stale and burnt.
