Mark Herlehy Tatu Studio

Mark is an excellent artist. I have gotten 3 tattoos from him and my husband has gotten 2 tattoos from him. Mark has a steady and gentle hand. He follows all sanitary requirements. He is open to suggestions and comments and gives his own welcome opinion on placement, size and best colors for tattoos. I will defiantly be back for more. Thank you Mark!

Mark does a great job. He has such a steady hand. He draws a magical picture, that comes to life. He is such a people person. Going to see him rejuvenates me. The colors, the time. All the effort he puts in. It comes naturally to him. I am so very happy with all the work he has been able to do on me. I would not go any where else. The ride to NH is worth the life time of art.

Absolutely do not get work done here. With over a dozen tattoos & piercings his was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. Mark does not care, his sketches and tattoos reflect this and progressively worsen. I asked for a simple flower on my arm, and he literally scarred me for life. Very unprofessional artist. Likely you came across this post to ensure you don’t end up with a bad tattoo, if you give this man your business you will. The colors bled, the lines were crooked, he tattooed me so poorly that there is SCARRING and the drawing itself is garbage. Don’t put your faith in him like I did or you will be disappointed and sad every time you see your tattoo. I had to have mine covered up. I highly recommend Shogun Tattoo down the street. I can only hope atleast one person saves themselves the nightmare after reading my post.

First of all you never gave any one of those instructions, didn’t even ask for my ID or have me sign anything so you’re crazy! Why so defensive? I didn’t move at all you are just a terrible artist. You are very unprofessional. Stay away!!!

I had my first tattoo done on March 8, 2013 Mark made the hole experience very pleasant and relaxing. I had emailed him a week prior with my drawing and he was ready for me when i showed up. I have several friends that do tattoos and they didn’t have the time to get mine done. i did some researching online and Mark was my number one choice and i am happy with the work.

PLEASE I strongly consider at least EMAILING mark if you are considering getting a tattoo. I went here to get my first tattoo with my dad for my 18^th birthday. I drew up a design myself, and sent an email to mark. He emails me back a.s.a.p and tells me his thoughts so he can tweak it to look more professional. He prints out a copy and writes notes on it, which shows you the amount of time and thought he puts into YOUR tattoo! When I arrived at the studio, it’s as if you’re at someone’s house. Very cozy… didn’t have that «asylum» feel that some other places have ! Not only that, but you realize everything is sterile and clean right off the bat. He cleans his equipment and covers the chair/​mattress right in front of you. With the surroundings and knowing how clean everything was, I was very content. Mark is also a personable guy, he clearly loves tattooing and isn’t a bitter artist that just wants to get the job over with. He also didn’t freak me out beforehand by telling me how much it would hurt, which relaxed me even more and I was fine throughout the whole tattoo (which is on my ribs). His line work is steady and impeccable… I was really surprised ! And his artwork is all over the walls in the shop, so it gives you that much more confidence in his work while you’re getting tattooed. Over all, GREAT job, I couldn’t be happier. The tattoo looks beautiful, and I was completely comfortable and felt safe in the shop. Definitely coming again soon.

Its a shame I can’t rate this studio with a zero. Mark is by far the worst of the 5 artists I’ve gotten tattoos from. I got 2 tattoos there one has blow outs and the other was so bad I had to get it covered up by a good artist. He is a waste of money and described from other artistes in the area that «he just Dosent care anymore»

Mark has done all of my tattoos (4). He has also done tattoos for friends and family members. I have found him to be a very talented artist. None of the tattoos he has done for me were «right out of the book». They were either completely original or modifications of a «standard» drawing. He listens to your ideas and give suggestions as well. Also, his shop is clean and he is a really nice guy. I would highly recommend Mark!

I chose Mark to do 2 of my tattoos. One was of his creation and the other was a drawing that my friend Matt had done. He did a beautiful job on both. His place is full of images and art to inspire your designs. He also has an BFA –I think that’s a good thing when we are talking about permanent ART. I remember that he did alot of biker tats — I am guessing that you have to be damn good for that clientele.
