I’d give this pizza a 5 out of 10. Canned mushrooms are just gross. Let’s be adults and use fresh ingredients, please. Pizza should not be soggy in the middle. If you pick up a slice and everything slides off, you probably shouldn’t serve it to people. The cute old man who delivered it was the best part of the experience. Step it up.

I was surprised at a lot of the reviews here, people who had one somewhat, strange? experience, those who say the food is good but give it 2 stars, order BLT’s?! You have to really read between the lines of some of these reviews and see what else they are reviewing, and when. I had not ordered from Roasted Peppers in several years. They since have changed owners. I was at a friends a couple of months ago who ordered from them and was pleasantly surprised. I have since ordered from them several times. Pizza has an excellent thin crust, sauce and cheese, salads were fresh, calzones were excellent, steak and cheese subs were fantastic. It’s a little pricey for what it is, but it’s so good that I’ll keep coming back.

Roasted Peppers started off as a great establishment. However, it went under new ownership a few years ago and you can certainly tell. The food is hit or miss — sometimes it’s to die for and other times it isn’t very appetizing! The customer service is what stopped me from going here, however. A while back we ordered a pizza on a rainy evening. The delivery girl called me and said she was outside. I went outside and saw nobody, so I returned to my apartment and called her back. She gave me an attitude and explained what door she was at(a door nobody typically goes to). When we got outside, she refused to leave her car. She sat in the car as I walked over, avoiding puddles and covering my head, to get the pizza. The best part? She sat there as I stumbled with the pizza in my hand as I signed my credit card slip. No consideration at all! Like I said, this use to be a great place, but now it’s hit or miss, and the service is not exactly good.

Pretty good food but it’s a bit mediocre. My boyfriend is a huge fan of their wings. We ordered delivery and they were fast every time. I don’t recommend getting their regular dinners. It doesn’t come with what they say it does, plus, like i said before just mediocre. Stick to the pizza, calzones, and wings. Their calzones are awesome.

My husband & I order from here semi-often. They always screw up our order, but the convenience(order through the Foodler app on my phone) has been the reason we keep coming back. No more. Today I ordered a BLT wrap and Dr Pepper. Foodler must not have an updated menu because they list sodas they not longer carry. In the past, they have either brought us the wrong thing or once two options and let us choose. And the one time the soda was right, it was 6 months past the expiration date. No thanks. But back to today – I ordered Mountain Dew and typed in the box I wanted Dr Pepper, because that’s what’s listed on their menu. Annoying but no big deal. Ordered the BLT wrap honestly not expecting it to be anything amazing, but how can you screw up bacon? By burning it. And only putting in 2 slices. That unfortunately is not the worst of it. As I’m getting to the end of one half of the wrap, I bite into something very crunchy. Considering the bacon is burnt I assume it’s that. Oh no, it is a shard of plastic. So, that’s delicious. I did call, and whoever I talked to was apologetic and offered me a new wrap. I declined and asked for my money back. He sent the delivery guy back to give me the $ 8 for the wrap and pick up the plastic. He then called me back to apologize again. So while I really appreciated that, I am not eager to order from here again. The lackluster food and delivery service no longer make the convenience of ordering online worth it.

I’ve had delivery twice from this place. The salads are pretty run-of-the-mill. The pizza I tried was excellent, especially the Ranch pizza(grilled chicken, artichoke hearts, olives, red peppers). Their sandwiches are fine; the bread and meats aren’t anything special. There was some confusion over condiment requests(asked for mayo, got mustard). The fries are passable, but not much better than that. It’s good for relatively quick delivery and reliable food, but I’d stick with pizza and salad.

Under new management and boy can you tell. The quality of the food has gone downhill. The once moist and tender chicken is dry. I’m so disappointed. We won’t be coming back here

So bummed! I’ve been coming here for years just for their delicious homemade and warm pita bread that is served with their salads. The salads are pretty ordinary but the pita bread they served with it was DELICIOUS!!! Just drove all the way into Salem(15 minute drive from home), looking forward to my dinner and only to be SOOODISAPPOINTED that they switched to regular papery, cold, store bought pita bread. They told me they switched because it was«too difficult» to make the fresh bread. Well, I can get this chicken kabob salad pretty much anywhere and I will never return here. They had something special going on but wanted to be like every other pizza/salad shop, I guess. By the way, I was referred to eat here because of their«TOODIFFICULTTOMAKE» pita bread. Adiós. Last time there.

My review is solely on my most recent experience. I’m not sure if they are under new management or what but I use to love their onion rings and yesterday I order some and when I got home I realized they«changed their recipe» I figured I would try them anyways and they were awful! So I called and complained and spoke with the owner and said he was shocked that I didnt like them and that before they were frozen and now they are homemade… well apparently homemade to them is flakey, floppy & a very strong flour flavor. He said I could have fries or something so I went in today and had ordered on the phone chili cheese fries… the girl repeated it and I said yes. So I go in and the owner is like«oh so you’re the girl that hates the onion rings» and goes to explain that everyone says they love them and their great and the girl working there agrees… he continues to tell me the others were frozen blah blah blah and have msg and that some people are just not use to homemade. Again I state that they were bad and really flakey and dialling apart… again their homemade that’s why??? Well homemade is suppose to be delicious they are not! He stands by his statement that maybe homemade isn’t for me… I’ve made homemade fries, corn fritters ect and they are great I’m sure if I made onions rings with a good batter they would be great too but their batter is crap. So get home with the chili cheese fries… notice I say Chili and there is no chili the fries are mushy… apparently the fries are not homemade… I kind of saw this coming since he offered me $ 3 fries in place of onion rings that cost $ 4.50 so I ordered the chili cheese fries which are $ 4.50 I got cheese fries I doubt it was a mistake as he said they were chili cheese fries. I’m done with Roasted Peppers!

I had a pizza there the other night, and it was really bland. There was little to no red sauce. The crust was not very memorable, the tomatoes looked very unripe and the mushrooms were from a can. The price was at going rate, large with a couple of toppings was ~$ 15. So I didn’t really see any upside to this place. I cannot recommend the pizza unfortunately.

I have ordered through Grub Hub three times(twice for delivery), and all three times I have had great service! This past time I ordered a plain old cheese pizza and the toasted cheese ravioli, and they are both fantastic.

I was in the mood for some killer wings and all I got was something pretty disgusting I am not sure if it was really chicken. It tasted very strong and old no matter how much Honey BBQ they put on them! We order the large to share which is 20 and I think we could only make it through 4 of them and threw out the rest. The people posting good things about this place must be ordering at 2am high as a kite because anything would taste good at that point. So not worth the money and the time picking up the order. Plus they were rude over the phone and rude to my wife when picking up. We will not be returning to roasted pepper anytime soon.

We get take out all the time… Best subs, the bread is always so fresh! It I also nice to order a salad that is made with fresh greens and not just hunks of iceberg! The people who answer the phone and deliver are SO friendly. This is our once a week go to restaurant :)

Zzzzz I live very close to here and went there because I was to cheap to pay a meter or to lazy to walk anywhere else in Peabody Sq. I ordered a steak bomb that took way to long considering there were no other orders. The sub was completely forgettable. I guess if I need to say something good, when Peabody Sq. floods and you can’t get anywhere else they aren’t under water.

I am not the biggest fan of sub shops because I am a vegetarian, I usually get stuck ordering bland veggie subs, salads, or greasy french fries whenever I go to them. Roasted Peppers is awesome! It is the cleanest Pizza/Sub shop that I have ever been in and the food is amazingly fresh! They have great prices and super fast delivery! This place has the best jalapeño poppers ever and the salads are fresh and filled with mixed greens, not the usual iceburg lettuce that other shops use.

Totally forgettable pizza that does not age well. That’s about it. More specifically we ordered a large chicken, bacon ranch — which sounded pretty good. The chicken resembled my cat’s fancy feast«appetizers» and tasted like soy chicken. The sauce was ranch dressing and the pizza was doused in it. Then covered with light yellowy white cheese that wasn’t cooked well… ugh. We ate it, but I wouldn’t go back. Not to mention when I called it in the high school girl who answered the phone had NO idea what she was doing so I had to sit on the other end whilst she learned about the keyboard. No thanks, I’ll stick to Mandee’s.

Roasted peppers, in my humble opinion, is the WORST place to go for pizza\subs, which kinda stinks because it’s right down the street from my house. They’re the worst not because they have low\average food and their pizza is completely forgettable. They’re the worst because the last time I was there to place an order, the guy was SORUDE to me that, if I hadn’t been starving and had people waiting for me and the food, I would have walked out. There is no reason for this rudeness, especially when I was very nice to him. I always try to be nice to anyone who is prepping my food. If the food was exceptional I MAY go back but no way ever again, Bad food, rotten service.

Love this place, if only it wasn’t so far away from home. :[ Their pizzas are better than average, however I was highly disappointed with their bland white pizza.
