Awful. Soon there will be nothing but bread. They act like the food is coming from there own table. Last time for Subway. No wonder they are in trouble.

This is a good quick stop. I have yet to see it very busy, so it is perfect for grabbing and going. It can be a bit tricky getting in and out, as Hawthorne is pretty busy. When entering watch out for the funny sidewalk set up, it could be an ankle breaker…
The staff is friendly, and make small talk while the create your sandwich. it is best to get the combo as you save a few pennies

If I lived in the neighborhood I’d make this my go-​to place for any of my fast food cravings. Why…
Service. The staff is EXTRAORDINARILY friendly. Like top notch.
I would not be surprised, if Subway had some sort of All-​Start team, this particular one would have a couple starters.
Also, the inside is a bit retro-​subway in that there is a lot of seating… like almost enough for a small restaurant.
Normally, any mega-​chain basically deserves 3 stars. you have to really go over (or under) the top to have me waver of this opinion. In all honesty, this particular one is right around 4.5.
