I just tried the Waffle Taco (sausage, egg, cheese + waffle) breakfast from Taco Bell, West Main St, Salem VA 24 153. 9:30AM Wednesday 4÷23÷2014. First of all, its small, about ½ the size of a regular hot dog. My first bite: the sausage was some mass produced thing that had sausage flavoring. The scrambled eggs were way over-cooked and the «waffle» was like chewy cardboard. The coffee was good, but they add the crème before serving it instead of giving you the small creamer to add yourself — so my coffee was swimming in cream. I was planning to eat inside but the girl behind the counter kept talking very loudly to the other workers as if everyone in the restaurant really wanted to hear her. Turns out that I was the only customer inside the restaurant, so I got up and left that wreck of a breakfast on the table. Never took a second bite and glad of it. Been there, done that, goodbye Waffle Taco.
