Nice club and friendly, efficient staff. Lovely location. Most members are friendly. Food is OUTSTANDING!!! Some really fun events for members and visitors. There’s always those thoughless, self-important jerks who take up 2 parking spots and parking can get tight at events. The club needs to be able to fine these people.

Corral De Tierra Country Club hosted our wedding this past weekend. I am not sure where to start this review because everything about this venue was amazing. The initial reason we selected this venue was the coordinator, Donal Daly. While other potential wedding venues made us feel like we were a part of a wedding factory, Donal made us feel like a party of the family. He was warm and easygoing from the moment we met him. Throughout the process, Donal was great to work with and, no matter what we asked for, he delivered. He always went out of his way to be hospitable when we visited from Boston and gave us his full time and attention whenever we had questions. And then there was the food. Oh the food! Delicious food was our number 1 priority at our wedding, and the food at Corral was PHENOMENAL(like several people told us it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding phenomenal). The chef worked closely with us to craft a menu that would make us happy. Few of the items were off of the standard menu, and, once again, Corral helped make sure that our wedding was very«us.» We have received nothing but compliments from our guests about the food and the wedding overall and several guests have complimented the service from Donal and the rest of the staff. Finally, the venue itself is absolutely spectacular. The patio which overlooks the golf course for the cocktail hour is stunning. The photo opps are countless with the beautiful green course against the rolling hills as a backdrop. I cannot recommend this venue enough to other couples looking to have their dream wedding in the Monterey area.

Golf professional, Gerry Greenfield is a real stand-up guy. I always love the beautiful scenery from the first and ninth tees! The golf facilities are well-kept. The food from the restaurant is tasty! Kudos to all of the employees of Corral that keep the operations running smoothly for all of the members.

Speaking about the food… I went to a wedding reception here and the food was awesome! The staff was super friendly and helpful to me as I went through the buffet line alone with my two kids. My husband was unable to attend with us and it was so helpful to have the staff be so helpful since I didn’t know a lot of other people there. The facility was clean and the restrooms were nice. If you are considering this for a party/reception, I definitely give it high marks!

Tough course Playing with a friend who is an ex tour pro. How did Rene do against his ex tour pro friend? A. Rene won B. Rene Tied C. None of the above And your answer is… Yes, Rene C got his ASS kicked. It wasn’t even close. I did however par the number 1 handicap. Beautiful course and awesome staff. Thank you for letting us invade your track.

Played here last weekend for a friend’s 40th birthday party. It’s a good course. Not a very difficult layout from tee to green but the greens are small, undulating and very fast, which makes putting and scoring a challenge. The front nine is fairly flat but with some interesting doglegs and tee shots that require strategy, while the back nine has some nice elevation changes. The clubhouse is very comfortable and they have some great beers on draft. The club is private but I think they are accepting new members. One of the guys in our group is a member so he was able to take the other 6 of us as his guests.
