BEST MECHANIC EVER!!! Mike (the mechanic) and his wife Melissa are super great people. My partner and I were on a road trip from Oregon to Colorado, by way of Southern California, and our ’96 Volvo 850 fuel pump went out. We had people counting on us to arrive and I couldn’t believe we broke down 1.5 miles from these guys. FREAKIN MIRACLE AND LIFE SAVER!!! Mike’s brother, and son, who both work at an auto parts place, drove not one, but TWO different pumps to us so we had our pick. We were back on the road within 2.5 hours of our arrival to the shop. Melissa and I chatted the whole time, so time flew by. I FREAKIN LOVE THESE FOLKS!!! Right now we are in Arizona heading to Colorado and we will be at our destination today. The car is running great! thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!! BEST MECHANIC EVER!!!

The service and hospitality were great!!! I was looking for an alternative to going to the dealer; which is the only place I’ve ever taken my car before now. I was getting pretty bummed with seeing reviews of other shops in this area and little farther out, that weren’t quite up to the best standards. I was also really in need of a shop that specializes in Volvo repairs and maintenance. After reviewing their website and reviews, I decided they were the «first runner up!» My first phone call was very delightful which is always a good sign for me with businesses, and my first visit was quick, easy, and not at all stressfull. I loved the way Mike took the time to explain the issue to me, Melissa his wife was amazingly friendly, and knowleagable as well; and the price wasn’t as outrages as I’ve paid in the past at the dealer for minor things to be done. I’ll be going back very soon to finish my repairs and maintainance, and looking forward to it!!!

These guys are great. I have taken my Volvo to them at least 4 or 5 times and they are so wonderful. They have a shuttle car and are always more than happy to pick me up and drop me off while I’m waiting for the car to be finished. They are always up-​front about the price, get the job done quickly, and even remember my name! Yes, Volvos are expensive to repair, and a lot of times the parts cost a ton of money. But their labor fees are reasonable, and at least once he did a small job for me and didn’t charge any labor. I recently moved to San Jose, but would consider bringing driving all the way back down to Salinas if I ever need major work done on the car because I trust them so much.
