Not very many coffee shops in Salisbury, so the choices are limited. Stopped by here the other day and got a hazelnut latte and it was delicious! Their lattes don’t have burnt foam like some shops do. So I’ve been back twice just this week!

5 stars for you, Rise Up! I was so excited that our friends brought us here for coffee while we were visiting Maryland. I absolutely love finding awesome independent coffee shops. Not only is Rise Up’s coffee strong, robust, and flavorful, but the people that work here are the cherry on top. They are so friendly and serve your coffee with a smile. You can pop inside or they have a convenient little drive thru which is the route we went. I ordered a small iced coffee with skim milk and it definitely hit the spot. Others in our car indulged in smoothies, a pumpkin spiced latte, and coffee just black. Our friends also got some of their coffee grinds to go, which was great to enjoy the next morning at home. This is definitely a winning caffeinated biz. Keep it up Rise Up!

Coming from Chicago, this place is a saving grace for Salisbury– the coffee is outstanding– and the words«soy latte» aren’t met with weird looks, just a smile! The staff is AWESOME. I live behind them, and the wafting smells just carry me over every time like some kind of cartoon character… My job being what it is, I wish they were opened earlier, but if I can get there? You bet it is my first stop of the day– in my pjs and all!

This is a good little coffee shop. If you want to try some good food this is for you. I ordered the buttermilk waffles and fruit and it was amazing. The fruit was fresh the whipped cream was fresh and home made. I also got a smoothie that was clearly made with fresh strawberries and i liked that they also put the whipped cream on it. Overall this place is good it wasn’t too long of a wait I LOVED the decorations it made it feel homey and it was really good. I really liked how fresh everything was. Overall i would recommend it to anyone who wants a good breakfast. ~Critic Kid

Basically, don’t go, or else you will become addicted and go EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. It’s wonderfully delicious. My go to is the iced white mocha latte. Colin, Abby, Andrew and crew are great! Try a coffee smoothie too. Yummy!

Funky little drive-thru & walk-in Coffee place. Baristas are friendly. Basic Coffee was good and roasty. Enjoyed the brew. The Americano I had today was fine. Will probably keep returning.

I needed coffee & chose this place because of its high ratings on Unilocal. It’s a pretty good independent coffee shop with a drive-thru. The line of cars for the drive through was much longer than the line inside, so we parked & I went inside to get our drinks. Because of the long line of cars and the couple of other customers in the shop, it took a while to get the two drinks I ordered. It was Sunday morning. There were three people working there. They worked as fast as they could, but it still took awhile. The first drink in my order that was ready wasn’t quite right despite the wait: the mocha was not nearly hot enough or chocolatey enough, so I had to ask them to make it again. While they did remake the drink, I would have been really disappointed if I had been in the drive-thru and drove away with a lukewarm latte that was supposed to be a mocha. It made me glad we didn’t use the drive-thru. The remade drink was much better, but wasn’t mixed well because all the chocolate was on the bottom. The other drink was excellent. I read about their coffee smoothies, so I had to try one. They are kind of like ice blendeds or frappucinos, but better. I highly recommend the coffee smoothies. Vegans, take note: They offer soy milk, but it’s not listed on the menu, and they also sell Alternative Baking Company’s vegan cookies(although not the gluten-free varieties).

Best. Coffee. Ever. I didn’t even drink coffee until I tried their smoothies… now I’m hooked on the whole menu!(But the caramel coffee smoothie is still the best!)

Found this place by accident while traveling and looking for a Starbucks in the area that apparently didn’t exist anymore. I thought it was just going to be a random hole in the wall place but as soon as I walked in I could tell I had the wrong idea. The roasting equipment in the back really caught my attention and I got to talking to the staff and found out their coffee was sold in Whole Foods, etc. It was a surprise considering my initial impression! I went with the coffee smoothie since it seemed to be a unique item on the menu and I really enjoyed it. The boyfriend had a vanilla latte which was also good. I’m glad we never found the Starbucks we were looking for!

Rise up is organic and is simply the best coffee I’ve ever had. The staff is comical and they know your order before getting to the window. Try the coffee smoothies in the summer and coffee lattes in the winter!

BEST coffee I have ever experienced! I can’t seem to get enough of it. I’ve traveled all over the place and nothing compares to it! If you haven’t had the pleasure to experience this mind blowing coffee then you need to get there fast! One cup was enough to keep my coming back everyday!

I’ve been to all of the staple coffee spots in and around town. Pemberton Coffee House, Main Roots Coffee, Starbucks, and Rise Up. Although the others are good and have something unique and special about them(excl. Starbucks), Rise Up is always the one that just sticks. I’ve been a student at the university for almost two years, and will be leaving town for good next May. Out of the best things you can imagine college offers… this is one of the very things I will miss most. Their coffee rules, their staff is always helpful and smiling, and there is such character within the seemingly 8×20ft drive-thru coffee shop that has been irreplaceable for me along my coffee addiction ride. Recommendations? Everything I’ve had is ALLTIME… coffee smoothies, hot/iced coffees, chai lattes, iced teas, their baked goods. I’ve stopped at the Easton location numerous times too. I was greeted with the same great vibe each visit. It’s must just be a «Rise Up» kind of thing. I can’t say enough good words. THANKYOURISEUP. One more year of excellent coffee is written down for my future. So glad you’re starting to sell beans at Whole Foods and other outlets around the area. For the mean time, I just bought a bag of house blend for the start of the summer to make due while I’m away from the area. Yeeeww!

I’d been hearing about this place for ages, because the dairy where I buy my milk also delivers milk here. So when I was in Salisbury to shop for cars, I was pleasantly surprised to see from their FB page that they were open on Sundays, and headed straight over. It’s a tiny little place, and was quite crowded when we visited. But everyone was pleasant and friendly, customer and staff alike, so even with the crowd, it wasn’t unpleasant. I ordered my usual, a café mocha. The rest of my party ordered a variety of coffees, teas, and smoothies. I think mine might have been the best I’ve ever had, and I drink a LOT of coffee. Part of it had to have been the excellent milk(see my review for Nice Farms Creamery) but the coffee itself was also a huge part of it. Will definitely be back every time I’m near Salisbury. Tempted to move to Salisbury just to be closer.

This is my favorite coffee place! I moved and miss it. The staff are the friendliest, happiest people in the universe & the coffee is untouchable to anything on the eastern shore. Organic coffee & great knowledge of how to be ethically responsible on a small & large scale.

Love the place! Pretty much any drink can be made vegan, they sell vegan cookies(not the best brand IMO, but if you have a grumbling tummy and are driving, its your best bet from eating here) and the acai berry bowl can be made vegan by simply saying«No honey» If you have a wheat intolerance/celiac’s tell them no granola and to wash their hands first. :)
