AquaVie Day Spa

So my boyfriend got me a half day package with a pedicure and hour and half massage. When i got there i thought they would offer a robe and maybe somewhere to put my coat and purse but after waiting 15 min in the lobby they took me to the room to get my pedicure, which when i got there it took another 15 min. to get the water in the footbath. I have had way better pedicure experiences at cheap nail places. Then when i was done i sat in a cold room with bright lights waiting for my massage… mind you i stilll was carrying my coat and purse. The room was freezing and i waited for at least a half hour to get my massage. Once i got in the massage room it was also cold. The woman did bring in a heater and turned up the heat on my blanket. Once it got warm it was better. The woman that gave me the massage was the only good thing about this experience.

This review is specifically about massage. I keep thinking I will try other things there, but it hasn’t happened so far. I have had both a traditional Swedish massage there and also the lymphatic drainage. Both were pretty great.
I also like the facilities. It always seems pretty peaceful and serene there. I am usually there in the evening, and I never feel rushed or crowded.

This place is supposed to be a business that specialized in CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never have I had a worse customer service experience.
My boyfriend purchased a WAY over priced gift certificate that this place refuses to return (even with the receipt in hand)! *Nowhere does the receipt or the certificate say no returns or refunds.
Liz — the receptionist is able to sell you whatever they have to offer, but as soon as the word refund came out of my mouth she turned snarky and pawned me off on the «manager».
Melissa — the «manager» would only repeat the pat answer of «no cash value once purchase» over and over. I clearly explained my issue with the certificate and requested that a refund take place after I was informed of the quality of services provided from the establishment. When I informed Melissa that I would be disputing the charge to my card, her final words before hanging up on me were «Good luck».
Don’t waste your money, or your time in dealing with these people.

I love Aquavie! I go to Jennifer for facials, microdermabrasion and chemical peels. She is such an angel. I can’t wait to go again because I have noticed quite an improvement in my skin. You really get a lot for your money here too.

This place is amazing. I got a facial and a 60 minute massage and was so happy. I will definitely be going back!
