Good donuts but extremely slow and sometimes rude service. Don’t come here if you’re on your way to work.

The donuts here are quite good. It’s definitely up there with my favorite donut places in the salt lake area. I like that they have a wide variety of different donuts and sometimes even some baked good. Their donuts always go super quick!

Really enjoyed this place! They have great donuts and are fairly priced. I recommend it and will definitely be back for more!

My mother, for quite a few years, worked in a donut mine, chipping away at the walls with the mighty strokes of her pickaxe, digging delicate treats out of the greasy crevices and nooks of the fry vat, filling endless carts on steel rails and sending them back to the front. She was so skilled at this that frequently she, with a face covered in the black soot of her labors, would bring home boxes and boxes of these, to the point that it took me years before I could ever look at another without a chill racing up my spine heralding the warning signs of an imminent diabetic seizure. So…having had so many for so long, I’m pretty demanding when it comes to donuts. Not unreachable, per se, but it takes a very strong contender for me to bother and an even stronger one for me to be tempted. This place has a few that tempted me, their plain sugared one in particular. I like the mouth melters quite a bit and if all of them were like that, this is an easy 4 star. As it is, I’d put it at slightly over 3 stars. All of them are not like that. Not even most of them are like that. They are very slightly sweeter than a number of the other places around, but not as cloyingly sweet as any of the chains. Think of an Albertson’s when they still made them or a Smith’s donut, relatively fresh and a slight step up from one of those in sweetness and you’ve about got the right level. This hit the sweet spot(no pun) for me as to how much I can tolerate in a donut, which is not and will not ever be among my favorite food groups. Still, while I never got too excited, I also had no qualms about having one when a vendor brought some in, which I can’t say about most of the other places and definitely not about any of the chains or grocery store selections.

I love my Sugar’s! They have great customer service. Every time I go they assist me by bringing my donuts out to my vehicle. The donuts are usually still warm and gooey. My team very much enjoys them. For something different try their muffins. I am particularly fond of the almond poppy seed muffin topped with their wonderful icing drizzle.

I grabbed an apple fritter, croissant stick, and buttermilk bar on the way back from an early morning at the airport. Both the croissant stick and bar were fine, though nothing special. The apple fritter, my real reason for being there, was still warm and gooey inside. The dough is very soft and the fritter itself is much lighter in weight than most fritters out there. The taste was fine, though nothing distinguished it much from the fritter that can be had from your local neighborhood grocery store. I’ve tried several times to visit My Sugar’s but they are so far west and sell out so early that I’ve never managed to catch them with anything but dregs. I suppose if they were in my neighborhood I might be back, but I won’t be making another trip out there when apple fritter nirvana is available at Banbury Cross for less money.

If you are looking for a good homemade doughnut that has substance, My Sugar’s Donut Shopp is the place to go for a good hearty doughnut. The doughnuts that they make are hefty and the dough itself is ample and soft. They have a good variety to choose from that are all familiar and tasty. The way that they are made gives the doughnuts a basic charm because of the home-style way they look and taste. Some of them can be dry though such as the apple-cinnamon doughnut but others like the crème-filled doughnuts or glazed were moist and delish. Nonetheless, if you are looking for a good ol’ doughnut, you’ll find one that you will like here. Note(s): The earlier you come the better and fresher the selection. The early bird definitely gets the best doughnuts over here.

Ok so this is would be my number three or four spot for donuts in the valley. I know businesses have been ordering from them for a long time so they have to be doing something right. I happen to have a weekday off so I could actually visit them during business hours. They have a good selection(as you can tell from the photos) but none really stood out. I did encounter a couple of dry donuts which I’m sure they were made that day. The donuts weren’t too yeasty and a bit too sweet for me. I also thought the price was a bit high for this type of donut. Not«boutique» high, just a tad higher than others. This place caters to the businesses, hours aren’t that convenient and located in the industrial part of town. Also they will close early once they sell out of donuts.

Our tale begins with an intrepid food explorer named Hang. Like a ninja in the night, Hang swooped in and brought a trunk load of donuts to my work parking lot. We sampled a few, and simply gazed an awe at the rest.(Next time we need more people I think) The Crème filled I had was pretty good. The donut was soft and pillowy with a nice bit of chew. The cream on top had that taste of whipped cream that has been sitting for a few hours, kinda stiff and greasy(which ironically is my mountain man name) I also had a sticky bun. The dough was wonderfully flaky, The caramel sauce was sweet enough to make the fillings pop out of your teeth, and was contrasted nicely with the cinnamon and nuts. These were good donuts. Were they better that Banbury? I don’t think so, but perhaps just as good. With Banbury so much closer to my day to day life, I don’t think my alliances have changed, but I will always turn an eye towards the night sky, dreaming of the donut ninja and his magical visit.

days when Mario brings donuts in to work are the best days because those are the days when the donuts come from My Sugar’s. even after the long trip from the west side to the office in American Fork, the donuts manage to maintain their deliciousness. everything I have tried has been good, but I am partial to the gigantic apple fritters and the maple bars with whipped icing. if you are a fan of donuts(in other words, if you are not some kind of weirdo), are comfortable with non-standard spelling(it really is «Shopp» with two P’s and no E) and you don’t have a Mario to transport donuts to you, I would recommend that you check this place out.

I used to work close enough to My Sugars that they’d show up every once in awhile, and those days were heaven. I’ve since tried Banbury Cross, and they’re both right up there together in my book. Just plain delicious — especially when they’re still warm. The cake doughnuts, blueberry, strawberry glazed, and oh those maple bars… So far, I’ve never yet had one I didn’t love. Mmmmmm. From my experience, go early, because by lunchtime the pickings get pretty slim.

This is a small donut shop that’s been in this location for at least 18 years that I know of. I just discovered that they were still in business so I’ve been buying from them lately to hand out to customers and skimming a few for myself here and there. The selection isn’t huge but its enough, and the flavor and quality is excellent. The people that work here are so nice, the tiny little lady that owns the place is always trying to carry my big stack of donut boxes to my car! I was going to go for four stars but the more I think about this place, the service and the donuts I have to give them five stars.
