Very friendly, music wasn’t obnoxious. Pancakes very large and tasty. My friends omelette was great and the side of fruit was beautiful and fresh. Sausage patties were also excellent. Would definitely go back. Oh, friend also said coffee was good.

Been here several times over the years, decided to give it one more try a couple of weeks ago. The last couple of visits just seems like the place has gone down hill.

This is one of the worst breakfast experiences I have ever had. The main reason we came here was because they have outdoor seating(which is not nice either by the way) and we wanted to take our dogs. The service was fine really, but the food was disgusting and extremely overpriced. The hash browns were just swimming in grease to the point of being inedible and all of the toast was burnt. The worst part though was that my omelette(which was made with lunch meat ham by the way) was under cooked as was my friends chicken friend steak. We were so disappointed in our meals it didn’t even feel worth it to send the food back to be cooked more. Honestly we all get a little nauseous when we think of the food we ate there and would never consider going back.

The place was clean and the service was friendly, I’ll give them that. The food however was over priced for what you get. The hash browns were gooey and slimy, couldn’t even eat them. The rest of the food was greatly lacking in flavor. We won’t be back.

Great please for breakfast. Seen the corn beef hash REAL corn beer not from a can. Great food, and friendly service. Will come again next time while in SLC

This place is a great place for any meal of the day! This have great food and breakfast is served all day. The Rocky Mountain Grill is a must visit. They have also been doing some remodeling and the place is looking amazing. I have been coming to the grill for about a year now and it has became a weekend favorite for a Sunday Brunch or a start to a busy Saturday. Note however if you plan to visit on Sunday they are only open until 2 pm. But during the week Monday — Thursday open till 8 pm Friday and Saturday open till 10 pm. So come check out the best secret in Sugarhouse!

Great food and relaxing atmosphere! Food is fresh, homemade and delicious. I enjoyed soup and roast beef da which, while my husband had an omelet and we both split a waffle for ‘dessert’ — one of the most delicious waffles either of us have ever had. Really, really good food at a reasonable price.

Fresh home cooking! I love it! Freshest hamburgers in town, never frozen. Can’t wait to try the whole menu.

My experience with RMG up to this point has been reasonable. Worth my money if I use a Groupon, anyway. However, my most recent visit was more disappointing than any so far. This was mainly due to the greasy pile of gray shredded\mashed potatoes they are trying to pass off as hashbrowns. These things were purely disgusting. Those nasty ‘ol ‘browns were served with what was clearly a frozen slab of chicken fried chicken as well as two eggs that had puddles of grease sitting on them. Even with a Groupon this was a waste of money. I have no idea how they intend to stay in business serving«food» like this. As other reviews have mentioned there are plenty of other breakfast joints and every single one of them is better then this place. Don’t waste your time or money. Did I forget to mention the incredibly weak coffee? Looks more like a cup a of black tea than coffee. Oh, and the owner who asked us to buy him breakfast. WTF?

So good! The booths were a little dirty, but the quality and taste of the food, matched with fantastic service, make it my new favorite local spot. The only thing that could make it better, is if they were open later, and they cleaned the windows and tables. The dishes and silverware were plenty clean though, and I guess that’s what really matters! Best diner hash browns EVER and I’ve had my share.

The environment was dingy and felt unclean. And food was mediocre at best. The staff was friendly but not very attentive. They could really do more with the place it’s to bad they’ll probably never do it.

Been here a few times in the past. Was never overly impress or disappointed just simple breakfast food. I decided to go back out of convenience but this time I was extremely disappointed. Prices are too high for its hole in the wall style. OTC is cheaper for a much better meal. Bacon was undercooked. The lemon seasoning on the hash browns was awful I took a few bites and was done. The eggs were good and the waitresses are extremely nice. It’s unfortunate this place isn’t better cause i live in the neighborhood

Went herewith some friends about a month ago, and had a blast. My cheeseburger was great! And the fries were really popular with my group(though I wasn’t the biggest fan, but hey, that’s just me). Honestly, the food was pretty great, but wasn’t the best I’ve had. All that is made up for by the wonder staff and owners. You can really tell they care. I have never experienced such hospitality in my life. They are such warm, welcoming people, and are fun to have a good laugh. The prices ain’t bad, either! I will definitely be coming back! Thanks, Rocky Mountain Grill!

The man ordered a blueberry waffle and the blueberries were huge. No canned berries. My tuna melt was so big I was only able to eat half. It needed some salt and pepper but I would order it again. The atmosphere is nothing special but the staff was super friendly.

I’m going to recommend this place over some of the others nearby. The portions surprised me, especially for the price! The food was fantastic: The early bird special which consists of hashbrowns, biscuits, and gravy. I ordered an over easy egg, a la carte. The hashbrowns have a citrus, peppery kick which I really think paired so well with the rest of the meal. What I enjoyed most was the home style feel and taste of the food. I’m not very high brow when it comes to American food, much less breakfast, but to say this place hit the spot would be an understatement.

Highly recommend the tamales, eggs, & beans breakfast. I would have this every weekend if there weren’t so many other breakfast joints to keep me busy. The Mrs. thoroughly enjoys the french toast, if you prefer sweet over savory, give that a try. No review of Rocky Mountain Grill would be complete without mentioning the service, which is… unique, to put it nicely, and definitely part of the experience. We have eaten in on bad days and experienced cranky service. More often, though, we are well taken care of, and picking up food to go limits the possibility of bad service.

Rocky Mountain Grill has a small-town diner restaurant feel and is in desperate need of a serious remodel — the place is extremely dated and grungy looking. The floor is dirty, the lighting is bad, and the old oak tables and chairs are beat-up. The restaurant is also pretty loud because there kitchen is in the same area as the dining room. The menu is pretty typical diner offerings with some Mexican choices thrown in like tamales and huevos rancheros. I ordered the chili verde breakfast burrito and despite having a chili rojo sauce, and not a chile verde sauce, it was flavorful and pretty good. Unfortunately it wasn’t very spicy, but hot sauce was available to spice it up as desired. My wife ordered the huevos rancheros, which she said was pretty good. Overall we didn’t have a bad first meal at Rocky Mountain Grill. Service was fast and friendly. We were seated promptly, even on a busy Sunday morning. Our food was served up hot and fresh. I don’t know if I’d go back, but if you want to try something new, why not give Rocky Mountain Grill a try? The prices are cheap, so even if you don’t like it, you won’t be out much.
