The Flower Box

If I could give them fewer stars I would.
This is the WORST place to get your flowers. They lie they don’t live up to their delivery commitments and as a general whole I would rather buy flowers from a hobo under a bridge with a syphilitic cough than ever go here again.
I paid over a week in advance and agreed upon a delivery time. They not only failed to deliver on the agreed morning but they couldn’t even get it there by close of business. The owner called me and told me they wouldn’t be able to live up to their commitment they catch was he called almost 8 hours after it was supposed to be there.
This is my second review of this company as Unilocal took down my first one as it was too personal. Yes it was personal. Flower Box personally screwed up an order that an untrained monkey could do, that’s right an UNTRAINED monkey, not a circus monkey, or a pet monkey, but a wild, been living in the jungle all his life kind of primate. He could have done a better job at this.
If I stop just one person from having this bad of an experience at this bottom of the barrel store then my job has been successful. When they say they are a full service florist specializing in distinctive arrangements” what they mean is they will take your money and screw or fail at everything a normal florist would take pride in. Don’t bother with this place there is another one that has excelled at all of my other orders and I would recommend them instead. I won’t tell you who that is because that would be rude to do here (psst it’s ANY other flower shop).

I was not impressed by The Flower Box. I specifically asked for colorful flowers when I ordered them over the phone. Instead, white flowers with a couple little blue flowers were delivered. I would suggest picking them up yourself instead of having them delivered, so you see what you paid for.

I was really disappointed with The Flower Box. I walked in just to pick out a bouquet on my wedding day (with only 8 guests I didn’t order bundles of flowers ahead of time) so it was really low key an I just wanted something small and sweet. Not only were the workers rude and short but the selection was small and sad. I suppose if you order far in advance to pick up a little bouquet they might be able to accommodate you. For me, it was a big waste of time. If a woman walks in looking to create a small bouquet by all means maybe say hello and help her! Don’t ignore your guests; show them your flowers and maybe offer some advice. Sorry Flower Box you fell short :(I took my business down the street and had a much better experience.

I have shopped at this store for many years and this is a nice flower shop. Most flower shops are going out of business as people start purchasing a bouquet of flowers with their milk and vegetables at the local grocery store.
What made me decide to write a review is reading the rant by Travis B. It was not a review. It is a rant. The question in my mind as I read the review was «Why did this guy go back if he had such an awful experience prior to this time?»
I would recommend going to this florist. As soon as you walk in the door, you will smell the fresh flowers and see the nice arrangements.
