Stopped by the other day for a double espresso. I’ll be coming back for more. Thank you for having me.

It’s best to walk here as its in the middle of downtown. Perfect place for a coffee. The baristas are super friendly. Coffee is delicious. Small shop and extremely clean

The staff were incredibly friendly and quick. My 12 oz Espresso with milk was delicious and beautiful, though not as strong as I like(should’ve asked for a triple). The pastries looked amazing. The one qualm I have is small menu. I have never had 3 Pines, so I assume that their signature is espresso and milk. However, I don’t think it would be difficult to offer an Americano, Macchiato or other traditional espresso drinks. I understand a minimalist approach and the idea of an espresso bar, I just think 2 — 3 more drink options would be ideal.

New location is awesome and their coffee is always delicious. Love how they make their own almond milk. The owners are both great who care about their customers, business and good quality coffee.

It’s about time Three Pines had their own official little shop! Nestled along Gallivan Avenue, snuggling in right next to From Scratch, Three Pines Coffee is one coffee stop you don’t want to miss. [Especially because this somewhat-secret avenue is sooo up and coming right now!]. I stopped in for Three Pine’s new location opening party, and had an absolutely amazing vanilla latte.(Though for the future, I’d ask for less vanilla, it was very sweet! They were out of Almond Milk too — that’ll be on my list in the future too). My friend Hai-Yen went with a Chai — I had a sip, and I’d consider it one of the best Chais I’ve had in SLC. Yeah. That good. It was so smooth, there was no grain or grit, and it had the perfect sweetness. I’m craving it now. Since the store front of Three Pines holds absolutely no place to sit down and enjoy your beverage, we made a point to ask: If you wanted to just come in for a cup of coffee, would you be able to sit down in From Scratch and enjoy it — without ordering any food? The answer is YES.(Though I very much suggest trying From Scratch!) Otherwise, I can see myself easily taking a delicious drink to go while exploring the rest of what Downtown SLC has to offer. Side note: I absolutely love their elegant, and yet so simple Three Pines logo. Like, I’m IN love with it. It’s attractive, and cute, and whoever was behind this marketing needs a high-five or two. With most of their coffee, chocolates and etc imported from Portland, this is coffee shop is a great addition to downtown Salt Lake — and I’ll say it again: Salt Lake is getting so damn hip, even Portland is coming to us.

Awesome place, I love the environment and décor. The coffee is great, and all around great customer service! My favorite is the ice chai tea, must try!

New location, same great quality coffee. Right next door(and connected to) From Scratch, the new storefront is totally rad. It’s a perfect combo really. Not a single cup of coffee is ever made without love and care here. This is a great addition for all who love coffee in Salt Lake. Plus, check in for $ 1 off.(And stick it in the tip jar)

«You know this is — excuse me — a damn fine cup of coffee. I’ve had I can’t tell you how many cups of coffee in my life, and this… this is one of the best.» - Full disclosure: I love the owners of TPC with all of my heart, with or without the involvement of coffee.

1÷27÷2016 Time to update my review on Three Pines Coffee as they have switched locations and gone from cart to brick and mortar. First off, I love the location, situated in the heart of downtown right next to From Scratch on Gallivan avenue.(Cant miss it, big«Coffee» sign.) The interior is clean and minimalistic and although no formal place to sit inside their area they do offer seating on the From Scratch side(they have reserved seating while From Scratch is open and full access to all seating when From Scratch is closed). As far as hours go they have some of the best(read: longest) available offering an 8pm close on Friday and Saturdays and the standard 6pm the rest of the week including Sundays. Nick and Meg have hired two additional wonderful baristas. Everyone there is super friendly and welcoming and are flexible when it comes to the menu. One review said they are lacking certain espresso beverage choices on the menu but they do actually make them, just ask! The coffee itself is imported from Portland(Heart coffee) and tastes fantastic. Vanilla latte used to be my favorite but I’ve since graduated to regular lattes now. They also have some tea offerings and a unique Matcha Latte that I highly recommend as well. If you’re ever in Salt Lake stop by and give them a try! — — — – Original review: Three Pines coffee is a coffee cart run by Nick and Meg, a couple of coffee lovers outside of Liberty Heights Fresh. They are super friendly and pull shots just as welcoming. My personal favorite is the Vanilla Latte. But they also have a ton of other espresso based coffees and offer a cold brew too and are very accommodating. If you’re looking for a coffee place, look no further.

Good coffee is my thang, you know? I ordered a Vanilla Latte and thought the taste was perfect. A more subtle version of 3 Cups but a step above the Coffee Garden, Three Pines holds a lot of promise in a not-quite-saturated coffee market. At the moment, they have a stall at Liberty Heights Fresh, but I’ll look forward to another awesome shop here in town. Nicely done!

This adorable coffee spot is located in front of Liberty Heights fresh organic foods shop. The quality of the coffee here is yet to be challenged in Salt Lake City. The owners, a very nice couple who moved from LA to start this shop, are very passionate about the quality of their coffee. The fall soda is delicious and not overly sweet. You don’t feel a gross sugar high after you drink it. The mochas are especially good too. I spoke to one of the owners, Meg, and she told me about where they get their drinking chocolate. Everything that goes into every drink was handpicked and taste tested by her. It’s definitely a mom and pop spot with gourmet ingredients. Enjoy!

I’m a sucker for a great coffee shop, as long as the coffee is good! Three Pines Coffee is GREAT! My co-worker and I decided to go on a little field trip and check this place out, as it had been recommended to us. She got an iced latte. Of course I tried it! It had a unique«roasty» flavor to it — if that’s a good way to describe it. A flavor that held it’s own but not the acidic taste that some coffees can have. It was smooth and creamy. The coffee was awesome. I had the fall soda. I know, I know. But the flavors of cardamom, vanilla bean and licorice root really spoke to me. It wasn’t icky sweet like you would think when you hear the word«soda». But it was flavorful! Like a cool fall day in my mouth! And now that it’s afternoon, I am craving another. This will be my to «go-to» coffee stop in the mornings. And while you’re at it, you can grab some organic, natural foods at Liberty Fresh.
