Allegro Pediatrics – Pine Lake

First, I have to say the doctors are terrific! I have not had a single bad experience with the doctors at any of their facilities.
The problem I am having is with the call center. I have called every day for 4 days and have been on hold for 10 – 15 minutes each time. The recording does ask you to enter your number for a call back but, the system does not recognize my cell phone tone so, that option does not work for me. I actually had to drive to the office to make my appointment. I called the business office twice to discuss my concerns. Nobody was available to take my call and I am still waiting for a call back. It’s been a week.
The latest problem is that my doctor gave me a referral 3 days ago. When I called the referral office, they said they did not have it. I called Allegro and the woman told me that it takes 7 – 10 days to process a referral. Are you kidding me? After I complained, she said she would move me to the top of the pile. The service at Allegro Pediatrics has totally gone down hill. If I didn’t love our doctor so much I would be gone form this headache!

I received a few different recommendations to take my young son to Pediatric Associates; we originally were taking our son to Swedish Issaquah; where we weren’t thrilled with the care… the doctors’ seemed a little cold, and often difficult to get early/​late/​weekend appointments.
I have been very satisfied with the level of care, and the ease of getting appointments at Pediatric Associates. It is so refreshing to know that when you need a same-​day late afternoon/​early evening appointment they can usually get you in. We have seen several different doctors; and have been very happy with their «bedside manner».
I’d recommend this office to anyone– simply for great, consistent care, friendly service and ease of getting appointments!

I am borderline insane with my standards when it comes to picking out a pediatrician for my daughters. Dr. Kate Ryan was recommended to us by several of the providers my youngest daughter sees for her Autism. Dr. Ryan is very patient and loving to my now 4 year old. My daughter really enjoys her visits to this office. I’m very impressed with how through Dr. Ryan is. Her staff specifically Ellen at the front desk goes out of her way to help make sure that as much of the challenges involved in taking a special needs child to the doctor is made as easy as possible. She is very kind and sweet yet professional.
I have absolutely no problem recommending Dr. Kate Ryan and her staff to any parent looking for a pediatrician, especially those who parent special needs children.
