Amazing bike shop. Ceasar is so knowledgeable and cares about genuinely helping customers! What a pleasant experience today; fixed long standing bike seat problems in 2 mins. any other bike shop would change 75 $ for that but free at Caesars! Also ended up fixing my helmet so I’m riding safer. I ended up buying couple of bibs and other items which were great deals and high quality. Looking forward to revisiting this shop.

Caesar’s Cycling is the best! I have a high end bike and they knew the little things that other stores do not that helped it fit me better and that help it be better maintained and faster. It is hard to know the difference between good and great when you get your bike worked on, but these guys are great. I trust my bike with them and trust their expert ability and advice.

Neighborhood bike shops are still the best, and Caesar’s doesn’t disappoint. They come through where the big shops in town can’t — honest, fast, friendly, competent service, and with a repair turn around time that isn’t measured in weeks.

I’ve been building up bikes for years as well as a Marin resident. Cesar’s is by far the most accessible, well stocked and honest shop in Marin. When ever I am in a jam they are always ready to help me out– and usually on the spot! Also will give you completive pricing on parts. The real bonus is the friendly family that runs the business. Cheers and thanks for the years of great service

I love these small Mom and Pops bike shops. They are pretty friendly here, good customer service, a good selection of quality bikes and products. They do really high quality service work in the shop too, never had a problem. There is a good vibe here. I bought an Intense mountain bike and they were really willing to work with me with customizing and getting it right, plus they’re price for the bike was pretty good. Whether your a casual rider riding a beach cruiser or a hard charging mountain biker I would recommend this place.

What a fabulous place. On a ride today, my pulleys started making a whistling noise — a sure sign of under-lubrication. The guys squirted some oil on the offending part, and no more noise. No charge, either! A friendly, knowledgable place for bikes. And hardwood floors! Makes you feel like you are walking the velodrome boards.

Cycling through San Anselmo on my way up to Alpine Dam, I wanted a quick shot of lube to quiet my squeaky mech. Being from out of town, I had none with me. The owner took my bike to the back of the shop and returned quickly, squeak gone. He noticed a missing handle bar end plug that had popped off en route and offered to replace it. That too was taken care of in jiffy. Last, directions to Bolinas Road so we could continue our ride? Absoultely! I offered to pay for the end plug and his trouble but the man kindly said«not necessary». A quick look around the shop showed a well supplied store with quality offerings. I’d recommend the shop to anyone.

I was on a ride and going through San Anselmo when I attempted to unclip at a light, couldn’t !, and luckily found myself right next to this bike shop. A bolt had somehow come out of my cleat(spd) while riding and so the cleat+shoe were stuck on the pedal. I wrenched the shoe off by twisted it around to effectively unscrew the 2nd bolt, but then the shoe was cleat-less. I had to wait a bit till they opened, but Caesar Sr was incredibly nice and successfully fixed it — involving 2 new parts(bolt + cleat plate) — really quickly and for free!(I’m not sure if bike shops would normally charge for something like this.) He also offered to adjust my helmet, cut off some long-hanging strap from the helmet, and burned the edge of the cut portion so it wouldn’t fray. What a nice, friendly guy!

I have been to most of the 15 bike shops. Caesar’s has the best service and is fair about all repairs. They will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy.

It’s that local, charming bike shop you wish your neighborhood had– complete with the warm hearted, pleasant and knowledgeable owner, Caesar, the super fast/talented mechanics, and the adorable shop dog. The rental bikes were reasonable, Caesar adjusted it well, provided a cushier seat at no additional charge, and gave us the heads up on the best route to go climb Mt. Tam. While we were returning the bikes, passersby were greeting him by name– need I say more…

Got a flat tire & they welcomed me in! Then he fixed the flat, helped me with my basket, tightened my kick stand, and sent me on my way with a small fee. I will certainly return! I was so grateful for this unexpected flat become an easy fix from a local shop. Thank you!

These guys are one of the friendliest bike shops around. Plus they know their stuff. Always accommodating. Every time I come in they don’t mind talking to you and never throw an attitude.

Caesar and his family are the best! I’ve had them do some pretty big work for me this past year and they are always helpful and super communicative. Caesar Sr is the friendliest guy in town and a true«bike whisperer.» I had a squealing brake yesterday(right on the brink of a huge ride) and he fixed it up in less than 10 mins. And he couldn’t have been happier to do it. Caesar Jr put on my power seat post and he did an awesome job. He also noticed a problem in my fork, and he and Sr helped me navigate my Fox warranty process to get a brand new fork. Great place for rentals if you have friends from out of town too. This place is the epitome of a friendly, well-run small family business. I’ll be going back for years to come.

My wife just got a new job in the East Bay, and needs to do a drive/ride because of the parking difficulties over there. Her bike had been in the garage for awhile and the rear tire flat needed to be fixed. It also needed a light because she would be riding at night. We brought it here to help out a local, independent shop. Well, the shop guy said she should probably get a tune-up as well, and we thought, yeah, better safe than sorry. Then later, he calls us at home and says the grip shift needed some work and do we want that fixed? Yeah, I guess? So, my wife goes to pick up the bike and the total comes out to $ 187!(Should’ve just bought a new bike) Now, the rest of the story: turns out, the light he «attached» was put on with a RUBBERBAND! Yeah, real sturdy work there. Today, two days after getting the tire«fixed,» my wife calls from the East Bay saying that the«fixed» tire was already flat again. That means she has to pay for parking for her work shift today as well as take the bike back to the shop tomorrow before work. The only positive about the place is that there’s easy parking, which bumped it up a star.

Caesar is the man. I walked into his shop with squeaky front brakes on a used bike I recently bought from Craigslist. He looked at the brakes, helped me adjust them, and then let me use one of his work stands to sand down the rims. All free of charge. Great experience. Next time I need a tune up or a new bike, I will definitely come to Caesars.

We rented bikes here to go to Tamaranco for the afternoon. Staff was awesome, attentive and courteous. I met three generations of owners and that was neat to see these days. Also, the bikes were a reasonable price, unlike other local shops, and all you need for Tamaranco!

Crashed! and Caesar’s was close by. My bike had bent dérailleur hanger and other scuffs. They took care of the repair and more for very little money. This rating is for appreciation and their workmanship.

A great bike shop that offers fantastic service and sales. You won’t regret going here. Caesar and Caesar Jr. run the shop with the family. They take pride in they’re work and don’t mess around. Your bicycle will ride better after they work on it! Josh is an excellent mechanic and Caesar Sr. is very helpful. Personally, I find Caesar Jr. pretty annoying and biased regarding bicycle products and components. Otherwise than that, A-OK!

I started my bike hunt online and found a Giant that I fell in love with. It was a fitness/road bike that I could easily get around on in the area without any problems and keep growing with as my love for biking grows. I was disappointed in the minimal number of shops in Marin that didn’t carry the Giant brand, Caesar’s was an exception. I walked into the store thinking they wouldn’t have my little yellow bike in an XS. I was really surprised to find out that they DID! My boyfriend and I was greeted by Josh who went on to tell me that the bike I picked out would be a great fit. He gave me the rundown of the new features that Giant had improved on the bike and also gave me a crash course in shifting gears before I tool the bike for a spin around the block. He was VERY nice. Didn’t treat me like an idiot because I did t know much about bikes and very super informative. Of course I ended up buying the bike with a discount(WIN!) and my boyfriend who wanted one but was on the fence ended up with his own bike as. This first encounter with Caesars was awesome. After a week of rising the boyfriend got a flat tire and took it back to the shop to learn more about replacements. They found out that the tire had been rubbing against his brakes, which meant they needed to do some adjusting and my boyfriend’s bike needed a new tire. Caesar and Josh were great, got him a new tire and adjusted the brakes to ensure this wouldn’t happen again. I’d recommed this little shop to anyone. The employees are really friendly and you see Caesar in the shop repairing bikes whenever you come in. Buying our bikes from Caesar’s makes biking an even better experience.

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly when we arrived clueless about renting bikes. They found infant seat, helmet & even loaned me a water bottle. When it comes time to buy a bike, we’ll definitely go back. Very reasonable rental rate & great way to see Fairfax.
