Went to HH with the girls after work. Drink service was questionable. I ordered the dalton and got the django (I think…). Also got the queso and chicken poppers. The queso was a bowl of melted cheddar cheese, which resulted in a solid piece of cheese and was inedible. The «chicken poppers» were actually jalapeño poppers. Poppers were super yummy just not described correctly. All in all don’t get the queso and be prepared to drink the bartender’s concoction.

I was over charged this Saturday by $ 20, and the waitress casually said that someone else with the same last name also had a tab. Kinda left it up to me to be ok with that. After an awkward pause, she gave me back $ 15 and walked off. Can’t say I’ll ever be back.

Great bar and restaurant in Westover Hills area. I have been here several times and the food is always good. I recommend ordering one plate for two people because the portion sizes are huge. This place is worth a visit and the prices are great.

Getting to 151 around 8:30 on a Friday, the place was a little dead. Additionally, the female bartender was seriously unexperienced and we waited about 10 minutes for our drinks.
That being said, a manager helped us and even comped us our shots! –all is forgiven
So we hung out for a little while, expecting to leave an find a more exciting crowd. That said, by 10 the place was packed! The band was fantastic, but that’s me — I love country music
They did play the typical line dances, and then they switched over to more pop/​hip/​dance music as the night went on.
Drinks here were ultimately made well, and comparatively priced.
We had a fantastic time and now that we know when to go (~9:30 — 10:00), we’ll definitely come back!

I’m glad that we discovered this place right near our home. Love the vibe. Country bar with live music on Friday and Saturday night, and a big olé dance floor ready for 2 stepping, line dancing, and whatever other kind of dancing you fancy. Enough seating all around, free valet parking, nightly specials, fair prices, and decent restrooms.
A few things they are lacking: wine (sometimes you’re just in the mood!), food (always in the mood), and draft beer (!!!) That one’s the killer for me. Come on, now. Who doesn’t love good cold draft beer more than the crowd at a bar like this. Major bummer. And limited (if any) craft beer/​local beer which knocks it down 2 stars easily for this beer drinkin gal.
I love the crowd, the band, the dance floor… And I will probably be back to dance, given its proximity to my house. But they need to step up their local beer game!

I’ve been to every country bar in San Antonio. And this bar has that perfect blen of people and music. Many places are so packed that you can’t dance while others are crazy ghetto. The music is good and the beer prices are descent. I’ve never been so thirsty that i stay till the lights come on but you can be having so much fun that you forget how fast time is going. I like this bar.

I came on a Thursday, they have beer specials for the Spurs playoff game and they were also having food specials for 8 $ 10oz ribeye or ½ rack ribs fries and a Lonstar. My friends and I ordered 4 ribeyes and a half rack ribs. All of the food was not completely delivered to us for about 45 mins from the tim we asked for medium well steaks and received really bloody steaks as well as bad service by a tall female bartender. She explained to us that «she was only a bartender“as if she should take that as an excuse. There were not any servers who seemed to be walking around the bar taking food orders and when we asked the bartender if she would take ours she said yes. The overall experience was horrible. Not worth it.

This place is horrible! The bouncers do not let you in because of the color of your skin. And follow you around like your going to steal beer or something. Music is horrible and they just let trash in there. Horrible horrible place

Happy hour from 3 to 8 offers some good drinks and staff is wonderful. No food at this time but you have choices right next door if you need grub. Also they bring in some great local bands that pack the house.

This is the place to come to if you are looking for a good ol’ fashion place to strap your boots on and come two stepping.
151 Saloon is a huge venue with plenty of dancing room for everybody. What I love about this place is how much they love Texas Country while paying respects to Country Music altogether.
If you’re not about two stepping no worries here. They always make it a point to play difference genres as well so everyone has a chance to enjoy themselves.
The drinks here are really great priced and super quick service. This is a true dance hall and not a little make shift place.
There is plenty of parking so no worries about stressing over trying to find a spot.
Making it a point to be back later on.

Great place! My wife and I went as a date night and had a great time. Cheap drinks with quick service. The bouncers were very respectable and the live music was awesome. Can’t wait to go again!

Been here many times but last night had the worst experience ever. One of the managers Cassy lost her phone and decided she would ruin everybody’s night in the place making multiple announcements about a reward for her phone then watched security video and accused 3 people in my group of stealing her phone and called the cops. We were all detained for an hour and then she found her phone. Absolute BS, Cassy wouldn’t even come out of the office to apologize. If you go here avoid dealing with Cassy till she gets her self fired… Till then I won’t go back. Humiliating and ridiculous and we did nothing wrong.

1 yr anniversary and they advertise on radio they would have $ 1.51 for drinks and food for happy hour 5 – 8 pm. Yeah right, cook is not here and drinks not $ 1.51. Bad atmosphere and empty seats. I live in the neighborhood and won’t be back.

Second time here, and I’ll definitely be back! Staff was friendly and fast. Food was fantastic (I had the chicken fried steak, fries, Texas toast). Margaritas were great!

Now that I have finally came here when it was not closed, I can say this place is pretty decent. We went on a Thursday night and they had a DJ And a Beer Pong Tournament outside. The DJ played a mix of country, hip hop and line dancing as requested via text which I really enjoyed. It wasn’t overly crowded and the staff were pretty on the ball.
They were selling steak and fries and a few other things for $ 8 and people seemed to be enjoying the food though I didn’t try any myself as I had eaten before I got there.
They have a pool table and a dart board and a nicely sized dance floor.
As far as prices for drinks go, they are pretty damn cheap. All Lonestar beers are $ 1.51 all day, every day — so says a sign on the wall when you walk in.

It was cool. No cover charge. The bartenders were the best part, they know how to set people up for a good time. I am not really a country bar type person but they make you feel welcomed. Don’t expect this staff to be overly friendly and I suppose it is because they are dealing with drunk people all night.
Overall it was cool. Not too packed. Didn’t pay for any drinks so I don’t know the prices to share with you. My friends were the ones buying the drinks.
