I normally don’t post reviews but as I see all of these negative reviews I just had to post a review for this company to be fair to them. AHS sent over this ac company to do repairs to our AC inside unit that was leaking water. Kenny came by twice because the problem had did not get fixed the 1st time. A third call was done during the weekend because the AC unit was still leaking water. The third time a different technician(Mario) came by and diagnosed the unit with something else being wrong(cracked drain pan). The part had to be ordered and a week later two gentleman came and fixed the issue. Months later we had a different issue with the outside unit. Kenny came by and apologized immediately for misdiagnosing the problem with the inside unit. He fixed the problem with the outside unit and my AC unit is running well. I did not give this company 5 stars because even though they fixed the problems the 1st issue took 4 visits before it was fix.

We were also paired with these guys through our home warranty. It seems that we have an easy issue. Our drain pan is filling with water and then it shuts off the unit. The first tech didn’t notice the drain pan, he said it wsa the outside unit freezing up due to a bad switch that left it running all the time. Second trip for same tech led to him adjusting the blower speed. After this visit i went investigating and found the drip pan problem. New tech arrived and blew out the drain line, not noticing that our second unit did not have a draining problem. Our pan continued to fill. now second trip by tech #2 and he has adjusted fan speed and said that if that doesn’t fix the problem then they will send a «senior» technician. How about sending someone that knows what they are doing on the first try? Nice guys but i would avoid them like the plague. i think we may hire someone and pay for it out of pocket because this group may never get a clue. Just run in the other direction.

I initially got paired w/A-US Air Conditioning through my home insurance. They were responding to a leaky drain pan. Through the course of 4 visits, I finally got the issue resolved, but not without a lot more work on my end than should have been necessary. After they initially inspected the unit, they concluded that I needed a replacement drain pan. I didn’t hear back from the company for a week and the first time I called I was told I would be called back and never was. Finally was given an ETA on the replacement pan the second time I called. When Juan & Javier finally showed up to install the pan, it was 4 hrs after their 2-hr window had ended. These two continually left my door open, allowing bugs to fly into my home. I found out a few visits later that they also botched the installation. They hooked the primary drain line to the secondary hole in the drain pan, which resulted in flooding later. Additionally, they put the intake doors back on crooked. When I called to have the next day to have the doors re-installed correctly, I insisted that I not have the same two guys and got Robert & Justin. These two are the only reason this is not a 1-star rating. They were very respectful and competent. The first time they came in they fixed the issue with the doors hanging crooked. They didn’t catch the incorrectly-connected primary drain, but to be fair it wasn’t yet causing issues so they weren’t expecting that to be an issue. After it became an issue, they both came back, found the problem quickly and resolved it. They even threw in a float value which wasn’t necessary to fix the problem, but was a nice addition to ensure the pan didn’t overflow again in the future.

A-US Air starts a job, gets you in too deep to change companies, and then abandons the job for 3 weeks in 95 degree weather. They charged me for a permit, but when I asked to see it, they admitted they never got a permit. Rip off artists! Stay away from them unless you are very heat tolerant, have a very high frustration level, and don’t mind working with people who don’t think twice about padding the bill with things they didn’t provide. Would give them 0 stars if I could/

I opened a Unilocal!account just to write this review. My cooling system blew out last Tuesday. AHS used this company. The rep came that Wednesday. Within 45 min he was done and the house was cool. By Thursday evening my house was hot again. Another rep came out Friday and said the 1st guy might have missed a piece of debris which was now causing a restriction and the condenser coil was leaking. He stated he needed approval from AHS and someone would call me back from A-US. I called AHS Saturday for an update since A-US closed at 10am. AHS stated that they approved the repair and to followed with A-US Monday cut the last rep was unsure of the model number to order parts. Monday comes and I’m forwarded to Kevin in installs who says they don’t need a model number but I was scheduled for someone to come Tuesday. It’s now Tues 3:30pm. I called A-US to make sure I wouldn’t be stood up after waiting all day. I was informed the guy would call me by 5 but they are definitely coming today. I got the call and they were her at 6:10 with a brand new condenser. All this time I was anticipating a bad experience because of all the negative reviews. Everyone from A-US to AHS was very professional and although my issue was only temporarily resolved the 1st time both companies acknowledged that the A-US rep may have missed something and instead of giving me the run around, they replaced my unit and did not charge for the coolant.
