My sister felt like a princess here when we went for her bridal appointment. We loved the woman(Marisol?) who helped her pick and try on dresses. She was kind, attentive, and assisted with our every need. Our whole family felt respected in this store and like our business was important to them, unlike some others we visited around San Antonio. I would definitely recommend this place! It was so amazing that she actually bought her Disney dress here and we are planning on coming back for my maid of honor dress. I hope to be able to recommend your bridal shop to everyone I know that is getting married. Thank you for such a wonderful time at your boutique and having everything my sister wanted! We are so excited to see the dress she ordered for the big day. My rating system– 5: Amazing! I would definitely recommend to anyone. I will come back again and again! 4: This place is pretty great in my book. I will be back. It is better than just average. 3: This place is okay, average. I might come back, especially if I am in the area. 2: This place just does not hit the mark for me. Probably will not come back, unless invited or majority of my party wants to. 1: I will not come back here ever. You could not force me inside of this place. Too mediocre.

Alfred Angelo was my last stop on a very busy day of dress shopping. I was getting frustrated by small boutique options but the process was unenriched by the department store feel of larger shops. Fortunately, this gorgeous store was the balance between both. I’m positive that part of the success of this location can be attributed to Marisol, with her impressive customer service, inventory knowledge, honesty, and creativity working with the dresses on individual buyers. The overall layout of the store is conducive to a television feature bridal experience. Dressing rooms are large and clean, with nice lighting inside and out, seating for the bride’s guests, and full walls of ceiling to floor length mirrors where the bride may view her choices from every angle. Marisol was even accommodating to my 2-year-old’s and her tears of confusion over my altered appearance. I was the only bride present for a 4pm appointment on a weekday, so the experience was even more intimate and special. I would suggest asking for their downtimes if you’re flexible. During the shopping experience, I never felt pressured by her presence. Marisol never made me feel like I needed to look at anything that wouldn’t fit my body or style. She hand-selected items she thought I would like based on my description of the wedding and location. I even showed her a photo of a dress I had tried on at another store and she found something comparable but much more elegant. I’ve never heard much about the gowns at Alfred Angelo, but everything I tried on was great quality and well within my budget. The Disney dresses were glamorous and exciting, and definitely replicate the Disney princess image from every little girl’s childhood. After deciding on my top selections, Marisol wrote down the numbers and accessory information for me, and never once pushed me to purchase that day. She must’ve read my indecisiveness, and this ability to take time to think about the investment added to the overall comfortable experience. I am absolutely positive I will be purchasing my dress at this location, and will come back to update my review after the order, alteration, and final delivery process. I’ll also be purchasing my flower girl’s Disney dress and possibly bridal party here, as the color and fit options were impressive. They are having an end of season sale from after Christmas through January 3rd, so I’ll be back between those dates to finalize my decision. My Unilocal rating system: 5 stars= Driving across town just for this! 4 stars= I would recommend visiting. 3 stars= Average, acceptable, positive. 2 stars= You might be able to drag me in. 1 star= I will definitely not be returning.

Gabby was awesome. She and the other staff helped us with bridesmaid dresses and helped our bride with a dress. She was creative, thoughtful and really listened to our bride. We had a bad experience earlier in the day at another AA across town and Gabby totally made our day better after that experience. We had fun goofing off together and picking out our bridesmaids dresses. While we did not end up purchasing(half of the bridal party is in VA so we were on our trial run) we will definitely get our BM gowns at Alfred Angelo.

DONOTGOHERE These people rip you off every chance they get. I was a bridesmaid and went into their store to get measurements. I paid $ 200 for a poor quality, made in China dress. I needed the dress in 2 months and they urged me to pay $ 45 more dollars to expedite the dress because they told me I wouldn’t get it in time. That was a lie because my sister didn’t pay it and got it super early. My dress finally arrived when I was not in town and hey told me I had to pick it up asap or their would be storage fees daily. I had to get my mom to pick it up. My dress didn’t fit my bust size when it came in after THEY took the measurement and i had to pay MORE for getting his fixed. All in all, this place is a RIPOFF. Disgusting way to treat your customers.

We had an appointment here for a bridal gown, but it seems like the quality here compared to Maggie soterro, mori lee, etc. is not as good with a similar price. We did however find a bridesmaid dress here for $ 115 with $ 25 off so $ 90. Can’t beat that. My only complaint about that was that I couldn’t order there and send to another San Antonio store. For it to be sent to another store, it would have to be outside of San Antonio. We also found a sash(for the bridal gown we bought somewhere else) for $ 78 before tax.

Staff is helpful and quick to help, but had the same experience. There have been two weddings that the bride unfortunately choose the dresses from Alfred Angelo– one dress was ordered 3 months in advance and had to pay a rush fee. I wound up getting the dress 6 weeks in advance time– BUT the staff didn’t call even though they said they did. Next time leave a voicemail? CALLAGAIN? The second wedding, against all bridesmaids wishes– we still had to purchase the dress at Alfreds. AGAIN with 4 months in advance RUSHFEE. It’s been two months, I better call to see if it’s in. Brides– these dresses are ridulously overpriced that are only worn once, it’s a shame discounts are not offered– unless the bride gets her dress there. For my wedding, all 8 bridesmaids in tow went to Macy’s were my girls found FABULOUS dresses much like the $ 200 mark up at Alfreds.

Entered this store needing to order a bridesmaid dress for a wedding in February.(Side note: Bella’s dress from Twilight is on display in this store, not that I’m into that). The service was very fast, and I was immediately greeted and asked for the brides info to look up my options. Considering that I didn’t have an appointment, I felt lucky that things moved so quickly. Once I perused the catalog of options, I settled on two styles that would hopefully be flattering.(Not that I plan on wearing a floor length red satin gown again anytime soon). The staff was very helpful with sizing and fitting and the whole experience was relatively painless. At the time of payment I was told that the dress would already need to be «rushed» due to time constraints. REALLY? It’s December. It’s not like it’s a wedding gown, and they have until February. Ugh, I just went ahead and paid to «rush» it, but if you have to be a bridesmaid I suggest going in as soon as you find out to avoid the extra fee.
