Oh my gosh. So disappointing. I was considering Anne Maries for my upcoming wedding caterer and went to the restaurant to sample their cuisine. We were brought warm bread that was slightly burned but tasted as if it had been microwaved because it got chewy once it cooled. Then the soup and salad were just okay. The dressing on the spinach salad was tasty but it was literally just a bed of spinach. We ordered the meatloaf, beef medallions, and spicy chicken. All came out covered in sauces on the same bland red potatoes. The chicken was messy with too much chili powder, the meatloaf tasted more like hospital chopped steak, and the beef medallions were chewy, cold, and lacked flavor. When we complained about the beef, the server said«that’s the first complaint I have ever had about those»…insinuating that we were being difficult or incorrect. We picked at the other 2 dishes after sending that one back and left asap. The restaurant is odd in décor and set up. I will not recommend or be back!

My mom and I had AnneMarie’s for the first time. It is amazing. We walked in shortly before closing(not realizing) and Ruben couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive. I had the South Texas Cheesesteak with warm wilted spinach salad. The bread was warm and fresh, the steak had an ancho kick, and provolone was perfect. I looooved the salad: mushrooms, bacon, and the vinaigrette were a perfect complement. My mom had the tarragon chicken salad on the bistro salad bed. She declared it «scrumptious.» I already can’t wait to try something else.

Had a wonderful lunch with fabulous service. Soup came out piping hot, salad was fresh and the beef medallions are to die for! Oh yes, the ice tea was very fresh and did not taste burnt like some restaurants do. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to head back.

A friend and I went to Anne Marie’s restaurant for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it! She had the Beef medallions with ancho cream sauce and I had the spicy chicken breast. Both came with salad and rosemary potatoes. We sampled each other’s food and thought both dishes were excellent. I will be going back to try lots of their other menu items, like sandwiches, quiche, soup and salads, as well as some of the other larger entrees. Open for lunch M-F. I recommend this restaurant highly!

I was in San Antonio visiting and was going to have lunch with my aunt… she recommended something like Applebees and I asked if there were any sandwich places around. She recommended Annemaries and I fell in though. It’s just a quaint little sandwich shop near the medical center area I think(I’m not from SA). My sandwich was great… I got the chicken salad sandwich(ordered a half and they brought me the whole, so I’m not complaining). It was great. I tried the tuna salad too and almost got that one. Make sure to save room for dessert… they have lots of brownies and cookies too. My aunt said the place has been around for a while and they just keep expanding! If you are in the mood for sandwiches I highly recommend ANNEMARIES… I think they are only open during the week, so I’d check the website.
