Anytime Fitness

I love this gym! I don’t plan on living in San Antonio forever, but this gym will be one of the few things I will miss about this city.
Carlos, the manager, is very nice and welcoming. He is close with the members and they seem to always enjoy visiting with him.
It is a small gym, which I totally appreciate. There are times though when it is too packed to get the machine I like, so I tend to go around peak hours to avoid the crowd.

Visited here while traveling. The man working (wish I remembered his name!) was very welcoming. It’s smaller than a lot of gyms I’ve visited, but for traveling or a quick workout there is plenty of equipment to get the job done. The bathrooms and machines were clean and it wasn’t too busy. Great little gym!

Place is great — clean, plenty of new machines and equipment, ²⁴⁄₇ access, cheap rate.

Fantastic equipment, very reasonable fees, and always clean. The staff is really nice and helpful.

This gym offers anything I need.
Feels like home and feel quite comfortable working out here.

I understand that most of this businesses are set it and forget it kinda thing, but this location had very dirty treadmills.
One unisex shower/​restroom and one female restroom only. I guess men are out of luck for dEdicated restroom.
Overall the smallest of 40+ facilities I visited nationwide. Also the a.c.was set to temperature suitable for senior living home.
Music volume level setting was set too low as for hearing test.
Finally there is no hot water in the never-​cleaned-​shower. Good thing it is June. Obviously some of us don’t go home after workout but places like work, school, etc
In summary, If you have a choice and live in between several locations choose the other one!

I got a Groupon Friday morning for 62% off, I made a reservation with Chuck (I believe) and I was working out Saturday morning!
I wish I remembered his name, but he was great! He was very friendly with setting up my free membership, even though it was a day early, he didn’t give me any trouble. He had to take a call a few times, but I could hear it was to satisfy an existing member, and I totally appreciate the extra attention he was giving them. I would expect the same should I ever need it!
The gym so far has been a good experience. I visit on off times so I rarely see a staff member. It’s rare I see anyone at all really. I like that a lot! I don’t feel at any danger because they have emergency buttons you can wear or leave at your station. The Olmos Park Police Station is two blocks away as well as the area being pretty lit up.
This is definitely a fitness center (but I call it a gym), it’s a small area as well as having limited machines, it doesn’t have a lot of special features like the larger clubs.
It does have 1 shower stall in the restroom stocked with shampoo and conditioner. It’s a shame they don’t offer towel service. I would really enjoy that! It would be really inconvenient to take a shower and someone need to use the restroom though. This happened this morning since the toilet and shower are shared. I guess if you’re not shy, you wouldn’t mind people using the toilet while you shower, but that’s not for me!
Again, AF is small. It’s not fit to occupy 30+ people, so be aware when visiting during peak hours you may not get the machine you want. Don’t forget your towel and you’ll have a great workout!

Living up to its name, Anytime Fitness is available to it’s members, well, anytime they want to workout. I’ve never been a 3am workout kind of girl, but I imagine if that’s your thing you’d be so happy here.
There are employees here during the day but late-​night it’s just you, your key card, and the sound of your heels hitting the treadmill as you jog.
This is definitely a no-​frills kind of gym but I like that about it. It’s the type of place where you know you’re going to get a great workout!

Dustin works here. You’ll see him almost everyday. Dustin is a great guy and the people that workout there are very nice. It’s small but has almost everything you need there. I’ve been working out at many places like lifetime, concord, and spectrum. This place is completely different but can hold it’s own status.
