Benjies Munch Truck

Not only are the people super friendly but the food is fantastic. I ordered the softshell crab sandwich which had a beautiful presentation and explosion of flavor. I topped it off with the coconut amaretto brownie, they even let me pick the cut (I took a corner piece). This will definitely be a food truck that I will keep my eye on.

This is excellent bar food. We enjoyed it and went back for more. Try the corn dog and taco!

I’ve eaten here for the Point Park Burger Brawl and the Chili Cookoff. In both cases, as I am a terribly picky eater, the chef let me try ingredients or put them on the side. No judgement there! His (and his staff’s) cheerful and inviting attitude makes me want to take a food risk and try something new.
The porchetta sandwich was tender, and despite the meat being cooked in cilantro, I couldn’t taste that dreaded soapy herb. I did pass on the cilantro ranch dressing, though. If you like coconut, pecans, and chocolate, you have to try the German chocolate cake brownie. Without the jalapeño slices, the deviled eggs and their generous bacon garnish were just the right balance of pickle-​sour to egg filling. Everything was very tasty!

What a delight at Benjie’s Munch Truck! We tasted just about everything. The chips were delicious. The porchetta sandwich was excellent. Great options for kids with fried chicken on a stick and homemade corn dogs. Don’t miss this food truck hit.

Have you ever just wanted that food truck that has incredibly fresh and creative food, kind employees and reasonable prices?! If so, this team is it! The Cali Chicken Wrap was suggested and couldn’t have been more perfect! Grilled chicken, fresh avocado, crispy bacon all in a spinach tortilla. We found them at Random in Boerne and look forward to finding them again!

Benjie’s Truck was at Tony Joe’s in Helotes for the 4^th. Live music, great ambiance. Lots of people. Benjie’s food was FANTASTIC! Everything was fresh and delicious. So much better than the usual hotdogs and hamburgers. The food was truly gourmet. Owner Ben was a friendly guy. Will definitely be a returning customer!

Absolutely loved this place! I sense the inspiration for this food truck comes from pork because of the menu, & the pig on wheels used as the logo. I was eyeballing the porchetta sandwich but wasn’t feeling the heaviness of the bun. Kindly, they substituted the bun for a side salad with Asian dressing, which actually paired nicely. Can’t wait to see them again at the twisted taco truck throw down!
