Today my order was correct, thankfully I didn’t have to call. Although the way they packaged my food. Boo look what they did to my bread… I’m not eating that

Although Bill Miller has many locations in San Antonio, this location, in particular, has always been on top of everything. Their food is always fresh and their employees always offer friendly service. This location is also consistent with their portion sizes. I’ve never had a bad experience at this location. The employees are always ready to serve you with a smile. They greet you upon arrival and departure. If your order is going to take longer then expected, they offer an apology and may even throw in something extra. The managers are always on the front line and willing to interact with their customers. As far as food goes, yes, like others have said this is meant to be a quick bbq restaurant. However, their meats have always had flavor. I recommend trying their spicy bbq sauce, which has a little kick to it. Their chicken strips with gravy are some of the best out there! And desserts, I like them all but especially their pumpkin pie, when it’s in season. Their breakfast is amazing! Love their potato and egg taco with sausage or bacon. They also have some of the best pancakes(griddle cakes). They are made fresh when you order. Prices are reasonable for most items but have gone up more often on some items. Some items can be a little pricey. I do wish they would bring back more weekly specials like they had a couple years ago.

I came to texas and stopped here for bbq– this place is the worst– bbq not cooked fully, sauce was runny with no flavor-sucks

Always clean and service is never lacking. Dragged my daughter for a quick bite to eat and the cashier was complimenting us both on looking alike. I like friendly service where the staff is engaging and not so focused on pushing people thru a line. Food is always consistently good for this San Antonio staple and of course I love my ice tea!

Yum! Breakfast tacos are awesome. Not only awesome but very inexpensive. Less than 2 dollars for a breakfast sandwich. Had the sausage egg and cheese. If I waa in this area for lunch I would try some barbecue. Pies looked tasty too.

The tacos are very good, I get them often. Tonight I got a chicken strip meal. The chicken strips were dry and the fries were cold and very soggy. There was little to be desired from the meal except for the roll.

Not the best breakfast tacos, as they use keilbasa sausage instead of chorizo or breakfast sausage… this must be a TX thing., Their sweet tea is too, too sugary. The biscuits are DELICIOUS, though. I could eat them all day.

The service here was very good. Quick to greet you and ensured they said good bye. The food on the other hand was another story. This was our first visit and it will most definitely be our last. We payed $ 12 for a plate that had a ¼ chicken that was dry, 3 strips of brisket that weren’t too bad but half was fat, the potato salad was good(but I’m not there for the potato salad), the beans were seriously lacking flavor, the hash browns were extremely salty, the sweet tea wasn’t even sweet, and there are no choices of bbq sauce. Only one flavor of sauce?! Really?! This meal was not worth the $ 12 we paid. This was more like a $ 7 meal. I should have went to KFC instead.

This is a the best BBQ in the world. I don’t care what people say about its commercialism, if you grew up in SA you love Bill’s. Get the rancher plate w/dbl. brisket, sausage, hash browns, potato salad, and beans. Add a jalapeño, onion, pickles, brownie, one piece of bread with a heaping of butter and sweet tea. Eat, go home, sleep, repeat the next day!

Not the best Bill Millers Ive been to but pretty good nonetheless. Gets very very busy at lunch time especially with UIW students.

Bill Miller is the great BBQ hope of San Antonio. You want to believe. You beg to believe. You give them so many chances and make so many excuses that you feel yourself slipping into the realm of the irrational. But no matter how hard you wish, try and hope you can’t get over the fact that it’s overpriced, below average quality and lousy service. What annoys me the most about Bill Miller are«the rules». It is utterly bewildering. There are two separate lines for ordering. Different combinations of side orders come with different plates. Some meats are visible; some are hidden on a different counter. If you want tea, you get it without a lid from a station in front of the cashier, but you have to put your own lid on after you pay. Your«receipt» is a dry cleaning tab with what you ordered scrawled in pencil on the back. There’s a salad bar full of condiments, but they only come with certain items and only one friggin role of paper towels FORTHEENTIRERESTAURANT. Yet somehow, this is all considered normal and you’re obviously an idiot for daring to do something drastic like order a beverage other than sweet tea. This would all be well and good if the food was outstanding, but as other have pointed out, it’s all below average and overpriced. Good BBQ is worth putting up with any amount of hell, but this is not good BBQ. As for this particular location, there is a LOT of food traffic from UIW and AT&T, so it fills up fast.

I always go this place for my breakfast, because very close from my work. I like they Taco and Hot sauce! at the moment you walled they said Hi to you and take your order fast! But I’m really not happy today! They use the words very RUDE! I don’t mind they just raise the price! I don’t care they change smaller boxes of the hot sauce. I don’t care waiting 8 mins for my taco too! but they did not give me hot sauce then only give me one tiny sauce with they special –Bill miler Breakfast ! I asked the Gentleman Can I have one more hot sauce? You know what did he said? He said THATISALL! And when I come back my work I don’t know whats the black things on the food! I’ll never go back this place!!!
