I have been searching for a great place for Boba especially working in medical center! the employees and little old lady that work there are the best! they remember you and i love the punch cards(i mean come on who doesn’t?) my favorites so far have to be the chocolate avocado and strawberry avocado! they have not disappointed me yet! :)

This place was nice and the staff were friendly. The taro that I had was good except I didn’t like the boba. It was too small and it froze really fast, not sure if it was real boba but that’s the only thing i didn’t like.

We’ve been here about 3 times now, it’s a wonderfully small place in a plaza, definitely a hidden treasure. At first the menu is confusing because there’s so many options, but I love this place the best because of the options available and not only that, it’s clean and professional, with a friendly and comfortable atmosphere that’s uniquely authentic. I get the taro coconut smoothie with either the original bobas or I opt for the«popping» manga bobas. Very good!

I’ve been here several times so far, and it’s been pretty good. My last visit tho, the tapioca was soft and not chewy like it’s supposed to be. I asked the person behind the counter, and she said it depends on how it’s made and how hot/cold it is. That seemed like a garbage answer– I’ve never had tapioca like that anywhere else! It was pretty gross. It was a one time event, so hopefully they’ve fixed it.

FAVORITES: Tapioca cream tea(classic oldie but goodie) and Matcha green tea(if you want something less sweet) AVOID: Thai tea with tapioca(The thai tea flavor is completely lacking, tastes more like watered down iced coffee with boba) Finally a good boba place close to the medical center area. I absolutely adore Tealicious in San Antonio, but it’s quite a drive, especially during rush hour. This is a really great alternative located in the cute little Huebner oaks shopping center, next door to another favorite, Romelias Bakery. The store set up is pretty standard for a boba place, with boardgames available for play. Prices are also very reasonable, and the tapioca is fresh and well-cooked! I’ve been here a few times now, and definitely plan on becoming a regular since I gotta get my boba fix.

Fam and I were looking for decent boba after chowing down on some local dim-sum. We found a nice little family owned store that happily obliged. Their menu is overwhelming, but we were all happy with what we ordered: taro cream tea, classic milk tea, 2 coconut smoothies, and a vietnamese coffee for $ 14. That taro cream tea was too legit to quit. I asked for them to knock down the sweetness a bit. The perfect drink. Seems to be a local hangout spot with lounge-able chairs and a few board games on deck. –xoxo

Great to have boba tea close by and besides going out for boba there are other things in the area. Location, easy access off I10 and Huebner and shopping and eateries around. Inside seems clean and nice enough to hang with company for tea and chat. Great stop on way to Hardberger Park! Service is fast and no complaints. Our only gripe the tea… way too sweet we couldn’t even drink it but we already drive off. We forgot how sweet they make it but this time seems sweeter. Tasted like tea flavor sugar! This why we gave 3 stars maybe if we return ask about why so sweet? Hope they use less sweetner.

WHATTOGET: Tapioca cream tea, matcha green tea milk tea I am so happy to find out there is a close boba tea store near my home. Tealicious was the only place that I found in SA before that had good quality boba tea but it was so far from my place that I never went. So let’s get to the point — this shop is very reminiscent of Tealicious. There are plenty of tables inside along with a spacious, plush couch area and the staff is so incredibly friendly. As with any good boba places, there are plenty of flavors to choose from! The staff will recommend the TAPIOCACREAMTEA which is pretty solid. It’s tasty and will do well to satisfy those who love the typical milk tea flavor! A good combination of tea and sweetness with more emphasis on the sweetness. The boba is soft and chewy and while it’s not the best boba I’ve had, it’s still up there in quality. Besides boba, you can get popping jelly as well which is a great option if you’re sick of boba. The popping jelly are super fun to eat! My roommate got the MATCHAGREENTEA milk tea option and it was very tasty with the flavors of matcha coming through if you’re a fan of that. I measure boba places by how well they make their regular milk tea — which I haven’t had here because I don’t exactly see it on the menu which confuses me. I will be back to try a regular milk tea boba though! OTHER: There are punch cards and you can determine the level of sweetness you want.

First time here… Good stuff! I got a chocolate banana smoothie with tapioca. The boba was pretty good, not soft but not too hard. Next time I would ask for it to not be too sweet. Other than that I’m glad I found a closer spot for bubble tea.

I stopped by today and got the lychee milk tea with boba. The interior of the restaurant was clean and the lady at the register was helpful. The taste of the lychee milk tea with boba was great! I liked the consistency and texture of the boba pearls too. Overall, with the price being 4.60 after tax, and with the location being in the medical center, I give this place a 5⁄5!

Where else can you get a matcha milk tea for $ 3.75?!? Omg. It is cheap AND delicious. I think this is the cheapest I’ve come across in town. Staff is super nice. It is spacious and clean inside. I saw the half & half milk they used, good quality stuff. I also tried their tapioca cream tea; it’s really delicious too. I personally rate & compare boba places by their milk tea drinks, as i think this should be their strength. I’ve been to the other boba joints(tealicious, suck it SA etc…) & I like the milk tea here the most. Did I mention it was cheap!!! :D I didn’t tried other stuff so I won’t comment on those. PS. You can ask the staff to lessen the sweetness if needed(like, to Asian level). PSS. There are punch cards. Buy 9, the 10th is free.

I love bubble tea! But this place is so clean and the girl who took care of me and my friend was very nice. You can tell her first language isn’t English but she understood what we wanted and they taste delicious! They have tons of options! I will deff be going back there again!!! Ohh and there is plenty of parking!

Great place, incredibly fast service and much bigger drinks than I’m used to, so good value. I especially like that not all of their drinks have caffeine. Amazing selection, too. There’s a poster of a cup of bubble tea that says«suck my balls» and I think my mom would like it if she weren’t dead.

This is the best boba joint I have come across. The staff is all super friendly and really patient while you look over their 4 – 5 page menu to decide what kind of drink you will choose to indulge in. The building that this place is in is sort of hidden in a shopping center, but when you go inside you are greeted with a table of board games, good music and friendly faces. They have bright walls which makes the environment seem really fun. They use fresh ingredients in their drinks and are always concerned with whether or not you like what you received. I usually get the vanilla coffee on ice and it is always on point. The staff can sweeten your drinks to your liking and will add more sweetener if need be. Overall this place is a win in my book!

It’s nice to have another boba place close by. This one has good seating and the area is quite spacious. I’ve only come late at night so it has never been busy when I’ve been there. There are board games as well so it’s a great place to hang out with friends or study. My main reason for the 3 stars is the bubble tea itself. It’s waaaaay too sweet. I’m not sure if you can control the level of sweetness like you can at bobaology/Suck It. I’ve tried asking but the proprietor is very fast so my drink is usually made before I pay. I like that all the extras that you can put into your drink are right out front. There are so many options to choose from. I like that they have almond custard and herbal jelly. The tapioca pearls are really soft and small. I like mine a bit chewier but if you like em soft — you’ll like these. Overall — good place to study and hang out. The owners are nice and helpful. You can get a frequent customer card which is nice. I did find the signs on the walls to be a bit profane and distracting. Not sure if I could bring my mom you know. But I am a big prude.

I mean. Come on, you can do it better since you have a great location. Surrounded by many others shopping center, but this boba tea couldn’t do any better. Read many positive review so I gave it a try. I had pomegranates green tea and egg pudding cream tea. Turned out like a disaster. The tapioca was too hard to bite, and both drinks weren’t good at all. Not come back or recommended.

This is a GOOD place and the savior of boba of the medical center area. The style, sweetness, flavors, and taste are similar to Tealicious. The sweetness of the milk teas here don’t leave a sour taste. The milk teas are smooth, without any granular or powdery textures. I ordered the vietnamese coffee, which was satisfyingly strong. I also tried my friends’ chai milk tea and original milk teas, and they just have the *taste* that tastes good. They have a large variety of sinkers too! One downside was that the bubbles felt overcooked– instead of chewy, they simply fell apart when you chew. The atmosphere of Boba Sip is very laid back. There’s ample seating as well as a large couch. I’m a picky studier and i will definitely be returning here during finals week! Wifi, spacious seating, and spotless bathrooms make this a welcoming location for everyone. The lady at the register was very gracious! We were the only customers in the store at the time so our drinks were ready within minutes. Prices are typical for SA boba. $ 3.75 for original milk tea with bubbles.

I cannot comment on the quality of the drink I had because that was the first time I have ever had leche tea. It was not bad though. The atmosphere is great. It has a very welcoming, calming, and quirky presence to it. The only bad thing about this place is that the music was really too loud for me. This can easily be fixed though.

We decided to try their taro coconut smoothie, with almond pudding. You pay an extra 50 cents for every sinker added, making the total price a bit high. While the taro flavor was great, we could not taste much of the coconut, and the drink was slightly watered down. Fortunately, the drink was not overpoweringly sweet. We did not order anything with tapioca, so can’t comment on how those taste. Similar to other boba stores, there is a reward system where every 10th drink is free. Customer service was great, as I saw the employee at the counter patiently explain what a boba drink was and describe the sinker options to a new client. There is a generous amount of seating in the store, with pop music playing and games such as Jenga and Connect 4 to indulge in. I can see this venue as a place for a group of friends to relax and chat at. The free WiFi is also encouraging for those who wish to study there, especially since business is still on the slow side now, providing fewer distractions. If we’re around the complex again, we’re open to trying some more of the menu.
