Good service for the majority of my visit however I was charged twice for one item and when I went back the staff was irritated because they had to refund my money.

Good quality atuffed animals. A great experience for the younger kids. They get to pick their bear and add any extras like sounds, scents, or clothing accessories. They get to customize their bears by choosing how much stuffing they’d like for the bears to make them soft or firm. The kids go through a little ritual, with the staff, before making their bears. It is a little pricey at $ 25 a bear and adds up if you start adding all the extras. The quality of the bears is legit. You can always bring them back to adjust the stuffing. The cool thing is they always have special edition bears from comic books, movies, and television shows. Our 3 yr old has Iron Man and Batman. He loves them. I will warn you it’s probably very rare to come out of there spending only $ 25 bones for just a bear. It’s a cool experience the young ones will love.

Most amazing experience. Would recommend this store. Yes pricey, but honestly, you know what you are in for going into the store. My 3 yr old wanted an already stuffed animal, so we got a mini-pony. I knew once she saw her sister and cousin stuffing their animals she would be upset that she can’t. Not only did the lady open the animal up so my daughter could stuff it, she let her put a heart in it. Made my daughter’s day. I would pay for service like that.

I came for the My Little Pony«bears.» The quality and look is exponentially greater than any sold at retail stores! Got a Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie :) The sales clerks were even helpful in informing me of [alicorn] Twilight Sparkle and Spike the dragon coming out this fall. I can’t wait to come back then!

Look. I get it. I was a kid once. This is a place where you come in and create your own stuffed animal, what kid wouldn’t be mind numbingly gleeful at that? Start with the wilted husk of some beast, pick an obnoxious sound for it to make, stuff it with fluff, «wash it» then clothe it. Batman outfit? They have it. Sports teams? Yep. In fact, I would dare say that the variety of clothing that they have available rivals Gap Kids. Styles are about the same too. It starts to fall apart in two places for me. First, the underwear. You heard me. Underwear for your new stuffed friend. I get wanting to dress your bear up, hell I even«get» that kids will want to put shoes on them, but underwear? Now you’re just picking my pocket. Second, and more to the point, by the time you’re done you’ve spent $ 40 or more for a stuffed animal. If you were getting your child ONE for the experience, as a treat, then I’m all for it. It’s been my experience, however that like most stuffed animals, they’re fun for awhile and then they end up under the bed for months before anyone notices. It’s because of that that I give the place 3 stars. They really make it a place that kids want to go back to. While that’s great for business I’m sure, I could buy half a dozen high quality stuffed animals from Toys R’ Us for the cost of one Build-A-Bear. If you have a kiddo who will be ok with going once for an awesome experience of creating their own toy, then thumbs up. If your kiddo is fickle and could care less where his/her stuffed animals go then I say avoid this place like they’re stuffing the bears with the plague.
