The whole in the wall. 24⁄7. Nothing disappoints. Look this is why I live here. Awesome trashy cheap Mexican food. Great awesome service from Rosa. They have a million lunch specials but I go for the $ 4.99 beef/chicken or cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. Beat that. Love this place.

Not worth the cost! I bought 2 tacos because I did not want to pay the $ 1 fee for using my credit card. The Carne Guisada taco($ 2.50) was loaded with chunks of fat that was not cut off the beef. The sauce was only okay. The tortilla was so thick that it overpowered the taco. The Carne Asada taco($ 2.50) was okay but dry. The tortilla was too thick for the small amount of meat.

Ok. Just say that the owner and the family are complete thugs. Went out there with two of my friends and when I asked for a cup from someone behind the bar she refused to get me one as she was so drunk. Then she preceded to call me a bitch. When I approached the owner about it she quickly removed her while the rest of the family friends were outside shooting gang signs at us and mimicking that they had guns and were shooting at us We asked the owner to ask them to leave she said she couldn’t do anything about it… course not as it was her family. We had to call the police to make sure that we could leave without being harmed and the owner actually asked us to pay for our meal and then told me not to return

I love the fact that this is a 24 hour restaurant and has a nice little bar that my family and friends enjoy. If you’re going to order through the drive-through expect a 25 cent hike in your tacos because they charge for the foil and any type of to go container is $.25 extra as well. My favorite taco would have to be papa ranchera. As far as the service I would say there a little bit rude if you don’t know Spanish. I prefer to go through the drive-through because when you eat in the restaurant they neglect to fill your drinks. I like the bar because they do make mixed drinks and the bartender Andy always makes my strawberry daiquiri very strong and I love that! I mention the bar earlier but I do not recommend you come to this bar alone. This neighborhood is really rough and I would just be careful. I only attend the bar when like 5 to 10 of my family and friends are with me. If you are looking for a reasonable price Mexican restaurant then I feel El Torreon would be the one to experience during the daytime.

Open 24 hours with beer, wine & mixed drinks available, towards the afterhours it is a busy place but not extremely nuts. The food is decent but probably not where you would want to impress a date unless it is for a drink. The horchata is one of the best I have had in San Antonio. Easy drive thru service, located on Culebra not far from downtown, if you are heading back out towards the west/northwest side of town after an evening of funit is a good place to stop buy without as crazy lines of jack in the box or whataburger, and definately better food. Not to sure about other meals but breakfast tacos are a plus from here.
