My husband and I were finally going for a rather substantial home remodel complete with all new flooring. I only called Hicks upon someone’s recommendation. I submitted the online request, got an email asking me to call them to make an appointment — which I did during my DAY OFF. AFTER WAITING 20 MINUTES with no one showing up and no phone call, I finally called the office. Flora very flippantly told me Elizabeth Bormet had left for the day, and that Mr. Hicks was taking care of the appointment. I told her it was 20 minutes past my appointment time and she neither cared nor offered an apology. I am guessing they are too big for their britches but YOU LOST THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF BUSINESS. Customer service is non-​existent.

I rarely give five stars only because five is PERFECT and there are very few perfect things in this world. However, that being said, our experience with Hicks was very good. We had them recarpet three rooms in our house. The workers arrived on time, got to work and had all three rooms done the same day. That was nice as we have dogs and sometimes it’s difficult having workers in the house getting them all worked up so having this all done in one day was important to us. The carpet is beautiful. It’s been in the house a few months and is wearing very nicely. Really happy we decided to do this and feel like we made a great choice going with Hicks. Would definitely use them again.
