love love love ! can’t go wrong with this place !! even today we went for lunch and ordered 2 tuna sandwiches she had made one sandwich and ran out of tuna so had to make a fresh batch … we were in a hurry so it was a tad bit frustrating to wait while it was being prepared… she saw my frustration, apologized and gave us the second sandwich for free !!! happy customer !!! will continue to come Back!

It was my first time trying Jersey Mike’s and I left with mixed feelings about it. I had passed by several Jersey Mike’s locations and made a mental note(and even bookmarked it on Unilocal) to try it, and I happened to be near one yesterday and decided to give it a shot. I went to their website and they prominently advertise that you can get a free sub if you signup for their rewards program(this is where things start to go downhill). To signup, they require that you not only require them to email you, but also to text SPAM you too and if you’re slick like me and have a Google Voice number, they know a real number versus a Google Voice and won’t let you use virtual numbers. I understand marketing, but you get to a point where you’re trying too hard. Nonetheless I go thru the process of creating an account and surrendering all of my contact information for a free sub. Then it tells me to download the Jersey Mike app and I do and the app tells you that you have to reset your password(that you just created) and that doesn’t work for whatever reason(I never get the password reset emails) so I end up going thru the ENTIRE process all over again but thru the Jersey Mike’s app. After that I am able to place an order, finally(at this point I’ve spent almost 30 minutes fooling around with all of this though). When I get to the restaurant they tell me my order just came in, which wasn’t an issue I wasn’t in a hurry and the staff was friendly and it was cool to see how they slice all the meats and cheeses there in the store and it’s real turkey and beef, etc. not pre-packaged and drowned in preservatives and artificial flavors and colorings. The only downside is they explain they can’t do hot subs(ironically in the app there’s a section of all hot subs though). For a full meal — sub, drink, chips and/or dessert you’ll spend right under $ 15 which is kind of high, considering you’ve got major players like Subway that are doing $ 6 subs and you could probably come out comparably, easily a few bucks cheaper. Taste-wise you can literally taste the difference between their product and say Subway, Quiznos or Firehouse subs immediately. Fresh meats and cheeses apparently makes a huge difference. I wish they had a better selection of chips(or maybe pilot alternatives to chips). And I also wish that all items offered in-store were offered within the app(which there are a few items I noticed in-store that you could not see within the app — like the app shows only two bread types: white or wheat, but they had a rosemary parmesan in-store, for instance). All-in-all the sandwich was really good, the chips were okay(I mean they’re Lays chips so they’re nothing to write home about — it would be more interesting if they made their own chips in-house or something like that). The brownie I had was pretty good, but I wish you could get it without chocolate chips — Idk what it is with companies you can’t have a guilt-free dessert because people have to make things decadent(for example, instead of a plain brownie, it needs to be double fudge with chocolate chips and chocolate syrup drizzled on it). It just seems more over the top than it has to be is all.

IMHO… best sub chain around. For whatever reason, I always get the same thing(#13) and it’s always good. Not really a fan of their bread, but if you have them trench out some of the bread it comes out just right. I have an allergy to tomatoes so I have to always ask for some separate steps(new gloves, clean knife, paper under the bread) and they always accommodate.

Great Philly cheesesteaks! I had the big kahuna. It was very flavorful and they definitely don’t skimp on meat. They have a pretty good selection of subs. You can ask them to add lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, or the red pepper relish, if you like. The regular size subs are huge! Definitely a satisfying meal and one of the best Phillys I’ve had in San Antonio.

I took my first bite and all I could say was«Oh my God this is amazing!!!». Now this is everything a cheesesteak should be! Soft roll, plenty of cheese and mushrooms with meat that has taste. This is the best cheesesteak I have ever eaten. I ordered the Big Kahuna and it lives up to it’s name. The subs are just as good. Please open one on the Northeast side. We have a cheesesteak place in Universal City but it is not even close to the quality of Jersey Mike’s.

I’ve been here twice, both very good experiences. One time I used a coupon for a bogo medium roast beef, it was delicious. Plenty of meat, perfect bread. Next I got the medium steak philly, again plenty of meat and great bread. You pay around 7 bucks for a good-sized medium, very reasonable. This place beats Subway all to hell, that’s for sure.

Love Jersey Mike’s. I started going here alot but the variety of sandwiches keeps me interested. I get the #6. Today I tried the original, #13 and it was good and I don’t usually go for the Italian meats. They carry all Pepsi products which I love. Thanks Jersey Mike’s! Love collecting points!

I’m comparing this one to Subway sandwiches. It was a good, fresh sandwich, but you have no choice of bread, there is only one type. There are three sizes, go with the«regular» if you are trying to compare it to a 6″ Subway sammich. The topping choices were also a little lacking compared to Subway. There was no spinach and no black olives. However, if you are looking for a hot sandwich this is probably the place to go. They had a couple of different philly cheesesteak sammiches and a couple of other hot ones too.

Just had an excellent turkey and provolone sub from Jersey Mike’s. I was impressed to see that they slice the meat and cheese to make each sandwich there before you. I’m glad I took a UPS employee’s recommendation and ate there. I’m looking forward to going back.

This is THE Best Place to get a sub Hands Down! This place Beats ALL other Sub Places!!! All their meats are cut there NOT in a Vat! So You know it’s Fresh Meat! All the Veggies are Fresh! The Staff there at DeZavala are AMAZING! So Nice, Friendly, Courtesy, NOT Overbearing, I tip hands down 20% EVERYTIME!!! They are knowledgeable, & what’s nice is they work Together to get your sandwiches to you quick yet Excellent!!! So far my family has tried Several different subs! One must is the«Big Kahuna Cheese Steak(hot sub)», another«Fav» is their«Famous Roast Beef & Provolone”-AWESOME! EVERYONESHOULD have a Sub from Jersey Mikes… make sure to have it «Mikes Way!» Reasonably priced too!!!

Another sandwich joint. You got balls, Jersey Mike, settin up shop in the old McAllister’s when the McAllister’s moved to a bigger location just down the parking lot. So whatcha got, Mike? The bread and ingredients are fairly fresh(even the bacon! Take that, weird bacon at Subway!). You can get any sammich on bread, in a wrap, or as a salad. They’ve got a griddle for making your hot sammich right there on the spot(there’s a notice warning about the wait for the time-crunched). A «Regular» is «about 7 inches», they told me without a snicker. I had a Philly style hot sub with chipotle mayo added. The mushrooms are sadly some can job, but I think that’s the way it’s usually done; this is a meaty, cheesy choice. To drink? Bottles, including sports-drinks; Pepsi fountain; tea: regular, sweet, or WATERMELONSWEET, which is Holy Delicious Diabetes Batman — I only put a shot in a cup of unsweet so I could stand it. Next time I’m trying a California Club, extra bacon.
