Juice Central

Juice Central is exactly the «A-​OK» template that Unilocal gives you for the 3 star rating.
The juices and smoothies are pretty good, but there’s nothing spectacular about the combinations or flavor profiles, and when you add that in with the outrageous cost it just doesn’t warrant a higher rating.
Hopefully they’ll add some nuance to the menu or lower their prices. Otherwise this is definitely just a sometimes spot.

Juice Central is located right across the street from University of Incarnate World which is great for those students looking to get their juice fix. As I walked in I was immediately greeted by the two lovely employees who held a light conversation with me. Since this was my first time coming in they had no problem going over the menu and answering any questions I had. I had my standard go-​to drink which is all greens with a hint of ginger and apple. Juice itself was delicious and had a nice little tang to it. It was nice that the juice didn’t have major chunks or remnants in the juice. Very well proportioned and I was quite happy I didn’t taste the vegetables since the ginger and apple masked it quite nicely.
The interior design is very modern and all white which is up my alley. One thing I really appreciated was asking if I wanted my juice over ice. I’m not sure about everyone else but I’ve love my drinks with ice, just my preference. This was a quick stop and go spot and I’m sure I’ll be back when I’m in need to get my juice fix in the neighborhood.

I stopped by to pick up a smoothie for my boys, simple strawberry banana with spinach. It was bitter i asked them to add an extra banana they said it couldnt be done because it was already made. There was nobody else waiting, just my two boys and i. They just rinsed out the blenders i said arent you going to wash them properly and that is when the ladies got really defensive. I paid 12 dollars and some change for 2 smoothies of really poor quality. There is a juice bar at central market save your money and drive an extra block.

I tried to come here on a Sunday and the sign on the door said they were open 12:00 to 5 or 6… Was very disappointed they were closed but I still came back today to try it out. I wasn’t feeling too great so I decided to get a wheatgrass shot and ginger shot. It’s a huge kick in the immune system and was great! Their juices are totally customizable and really delicious! Staff here were very sweet girls! I will be back, I love fresh juice!

Fantastic! So glad I tried this wonderful juice shop. I guess the E Commerce location is new. Right around the corner from Makara Spa. I will be sure to go back every day I am here for my visit. Very friendly staff.

I am so excited that this place is located in the same building as my job. It’s only been in business 4 days and I have had AT LEAST one meal here each day since it opened. It is a nice, healthy alternative to restaurants in the area. With the exception of the salads most of the items are made to order right in front of you so there may be a slight wait. The ambience is very hip and the seating is limited.
Recommendations: I picked up the lunch special ($ 10 for salad and smoothie/​juice). I love love love the Arugula salad with goat cheese and walnuts. So far this is my absolute favorite. The Zen green smoothie was very yummy and incredibly filling. It has a combination of orange juice, coconut water, mango, pineapple, kale, ginger, chia seeds, spirulina.
