Wow! The veggie tamale is delicious. The price isn’t as expensive as you’d think. One of their large tamales (double width) was enough for a small meal. For $ 3, I don’t think there is a better option for a quick meal on Blanco.
I will echo what others have said, the jalapeño green sauce is a wonderful addition. A lot of places want to cover tamales with a Carne sauce or cheese, which tends to overwhelm the tamale, but the jalapeño sauce complements it very well.

Best Vegan tamales EVER!!! Actually it might be the best tamale place ever! If I wasn’t vegan I might just have already tried them all.
The tamales are heaven and that’s with out their amazing Jalapeño Salsa (which is also vegan, YAY!), that tops it off.
Also their wonderful, kind, and extremely helpful staff makes everything so much better.

Jalapeño salsa is amazing .
Im pregnant and have been craving tamales! I tried the pork and the bean tamales. both excellent! Everything is organic and thier candy is awesome! Mr. Guarjardo recommended the veggie tamales for next time. I look forward to coming again:)

This place has awesome tasting tamales & hot sauce is to die for, I’ve tried the regular pork & bean tamales those come in dozens & today I picked up a vegan & a veggie tamale both organic. They were fat & delicious just wish they would comes in dozens & not be so expensive. But other than that this place is clean & good, oh they also sell Mexican candies & cookies. I also need to try those. The owner is very nice too. So if you want some yummy tamales & are in the 410& Blanco area give them a try. You won’t be disappointed at all!
