La’s Experience

Not sure exactly what happened, but I called to schedule my first massage with them and whoever answered could not give me ANY information about what times they had available today or tomorrow or 2 days from now… she kept answering I don’t know but another lady may have times available when she returns later today. I asked her if there was only 1 worker there and she answered «no but just call back later. Thanks, bye» and then she hung up on me while I was mid-​sentence. So confused and disappointed.

3 Letters… OMG! This was honestly the best massage I’ve ever had in my life! The staff is so sweet and Kwen worked magic! It was my first time having a therapist use both hands and feet! (She asks for permission first lol) I will definitely be back for sure!

La’s is such a great massage place. Clean, convenient to the airport and WOW, what a massage. I literally went to a massage place near downtown the night before going to La’s and paid $ 100 for 90 min to work out my knots in my shoulders and legs. It was nice but I wasted my money because I still left with knots. When I woke up I knew I had to find a Thai massage place. I saw La’s on Unilocal and took a chance. SO glad I went to La!
I love Thai massages and don’t know why I look elsewhere. La’s experience is the spot! All my knots are gone and then some! She was so receptive to my body’s needs. Worth it! Originally I wasn’t sure because she only had a few reviews… but they were all 5 stars! It’s clear she doesn’t need to advertise because she’s that good and everyone keeps coming back!

I had the greatest massage ever. little lady la worked her Thai massage techniques on my super knotted body and yup as soon as the massage was over, I felt so much better specially when I came in I had a really bad migraine. after the massage I know whatever she did worked cause I no longer feel the pounding on my head. traditional Thai massage consist of stretching while they massage your body and also they step on your back, which is not a bad thing because the pressure really
1hour massage cost $ 60 and they really do 60min from start to finish not like the spa places they have downtown. I will always come and see La for my massages from now on.

Excellent massage! The wife and I were looking for an impromptu 1hr massage during our anniversary weekend while staying downtown. We called around, looking for last minute same-​day openings… and couldn’t find a thing. Finally I decided to google search ‘Thai Massage San Antonio’…and sure enough we found La’s! Not being from San Antonio, it was a bit of a rolling of the dice… but we are glad we did.
If you want one of those expensive ‘day spa’ experiences that cost $ 150 and only give you a 50 min, then go elsewhere. If you are just looking for a great 1 hour Thai/​Swedish massage, then this is a great place. The location outside might make you wonder what you are getting into, but it’s very clean inside… and just as nice as any other strip-​center massage place I’ve been to. Rates are very reasonable for what you are getting (about $ 60/​hour for each of us). And the massage was easily as good as anything I’ve gotten for $ 30 – 40 more!
About a 15 minute drive from Downtown/​Riverwalk, but definitely worth it! We will definitely be back when we visit San Antonio again!
