Oh boy. I had such high hopes for this service. I have been looking for reliable house cleaning in San Antonio since I got here. I have been tempted by many random ads on Craigslist, but based on the fact that my sister accidentally hired a pimp off of Craigslist to move her(it’s a long story), I’ve been wary. P. S. Don’t EVER hire«Hawk, the Bad Boy of San Antonio». The professionalism leading up to the cleaning was great– prompt scheduling and response, incredibly friendly office staff. The price seemed steep: $ 190 for an initial clean, but they gave me a $ 25 off coupon and some coupons for additional cleans which would be cheaper. Hey, for a little piece of mind– could be a bargain. The cleaning women showed up on time, but when I returned home… oh. my. Sweet. Baby. Jesus. My floors were disgusting. It’s clear they had taken a dirty mop and water and just swished it around everywhere. The floors were literally grosser than when I left, smudged everywhere and sticky. What cleaning service in their right mind could think that is clean? Dog hair was still everywhere, as was random dirt and debris. I was very upset. That isn’t even the worst. They broke two sets of my living room blinds. I came home and both were hanging sideways. Due to the half-ass cleaning job, they had ripped the cords on both blinds– they were ruined. Did they bother telling me? Nope. Blinds are not cheap, and you should not destroy property when you clean. They offered to come out and re-clean and fix the floor. Great– they were there this morning and my husband is already complaining that the house smells horrible. You can see the pictures I’ve attached of their«re-clean” — it’s pathetic. I’ve been offered no restitution for the broken property. I can’t emphasize this enough– DONOTUSETHISSERVICE. I am out $ 170 bucks and two sets of blinds.
