So, I’m a giant wimp, y’all. I was hesitant about this event from the beginning, but I didn’t end up having the pee scared out of me after all! The Great Room Escape was super fun. My group was the first group ever to go through The Cabin, which is a serial killer experience. We made it out, too! In 40ish minutes! They fed us, got us liquored up with some local whiskey, then sent us in to solve riddles to find our way out of a creepy cabin. Once the event started winding down, a few of us were lucky enough to get a trip down the giant slide, then a mini private tour of the haunted house! This was an awesome event! i can’t wait to go back and try the other Great Room Escape.

Unilocal is a cool community. That’s the essence of this social network. So when we saw this Elite Event, we just walked in, even if it was at 9000 km from our place. OK Yasmina O. literally dragged me in, I was too shy. But it was for our greatest good! We have been welcomed by the Community manager Thomas R. just like we were one of them. Thank you so much for that. And we met guys from the Elite Community who really took care of us. Thanks again David S. and Cecile P. We keep in touch and really hope to see soon again in Paris or Texas! For the Hunted House, even if we were very excited about participing at the escape room, we ran out of time as this whole thing was unexpected. But the place looked amazing and we were very sad about missing that. Anyways, thanks again Thomas R. to immediately invited us to participate to this event even if were not on the guest list and for the survivor pack! You told us that it was your first event. I wish you the best for the next ones. This one totally rocked. Hope to see y’all soon. Thanks again and I apologise in advance for my English here.

Oh what a spooky night The 13th floor had in store for us. First of all I was impress with the beautiful staircase. Which lead us to the first room of the night. I was claim and cool until I saw the most awesome Zombie girl freakin moved I thought she was fake but I guess not. That was my first scare of the night. I enjoy some adult beverages like Texas crown club whisky and some Frio nice cold beer. Then off we went to down a dark and spooky hallway down the stairs just to be greeted by a zombie Pig … That was super cool. We ended up having some amazing Tony Roma’s Ribs, wings and some jalapeño boomers. They were oh so good. The staff was friendly and super sweet. They even offered me some banana pudding. Then we made our way back up stairs … Talk about a leg workout. We enjoyed the live music by Michale j and the foxes. The Unilocal crowd did there thing and mingled. Pictures were taken and stories were told about everyone great room escape. Something I will come back and try. All and all it was a great turn out. Thanks to Thomas, the 13th floor, and Tony Roma’s. I loved the hospitality. Great job to all involved with such a spooky night. PS: Thomas tooth pick

This is probably gonna start a room vs room war but… eh, oh well! Let me just say that I was told the ‘other’ room for was a LOT easier than the one my group was in. Mind you, 60 minutes to get out of either room you were placed in and each had to figure out puzzles in order to get out. The other room: was brought in immediately. Another account is that the doorknob wasn’t locked properly and Shawn G. just walked in. But STILL. Our room: we had to figure out how to get in via puzzle. The other room:(from attendee accounts) One ‘serial killer’ who went through once. Our room: A zombie who was continuously chained to a side of the room. Where about every ten minutes, he was probably coming out further into the room by about a foot or so. He was great — thrashing about and coming up behind folks and keeping us huddled to any corner furthest away from him. Although somewhere in the middle of the game, his ‘mother’ told us we could sing Rock-A-Bye Baby to him and he would fall asleep for a little bit. So we all had to sort of stop what we were doing to sing him to sleep. The other room:(from attendee accounts) Continuously dark. Our room: Lights on but flashes off and on throughout. Just when you thought you were on to something on a puzzle, the lights go out and you’re having to readjust yourself and remember where you were at on something. The other room:(from attendee accounts) A brand new room. Last group before them got out in 15 minutes. Our room: 6% success rate of getting out. In addition(and again in our room), we had a hostess(the ‘mother’ of the zombie who ROCKED her part completely btw!) who threw confusion into the room when those of us who were ‘bitten’ had to stand off to the side. If she felt like letting you back in the game, you would have to perform or do something she requested. IF she felt like letting you back in. Yeah, so I got ‘bit’ once and had to do the Macarena. Another group of the ‘dead’ performed YMCA. With all the madness and craziness created in the room a few of us were getting tired and worn out by the the last few minutes of the game. When we came out, you could hear sighs of relief and a couple of us were feeling hot as hell from all the commotion and body heat built up. But it was I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E. I thoroughly enjoyed myself! Tony Roma’s filled our tummies with some delicious foodstuffs. My favorites: the wings and cookies. The folks from there were really sweet and kept our appetites satisfied. Add in the other characters who roamed about the Unilocal crowd as we sat around, talked, and drank and you have yourself a very fulfilled(and definitely FUN) night! I would be hard pressed to ever forget this event! The 13th Floor was the perfect place for the Great Room Escape challenge. Tomas, you’re batting a THOUSAND!
