Great place. Girls are super friendly. Place is clean. Spray tan before military ball for teens :)

Always clean… Associates are friendly & helpful. Don’t try to push sales of products or packages I’m not interested in, but will inform me of promotions or upgrades that are of benefit.

Tanning beds, specials, pricing, and service were all great. I had a membership with them for over 2 years, then due to an unforseen family emergency, I had to temporarily move out of town and, unfortunately, there wasn’t a PBT there. I forgot to cxl my membership, although I did have to cxl the debit card the pymts were deducting from. You would think after a couple of unsuccessful pymts, they would automatically cxl my account. Not so. Instead I received a bill for over $ 300 for past due pymts. Are you kidding me?! They actually think I’m paying for services I didn’t receive? I didn’t sign a contract committing to X amount of months leaving me obligated to pay. Outrageous. It’s a shame too because I’m back in town and would have really liked to renew my membership. Have to look elsewhere.

The store customer service is off the charts– such personalized attention and my rapid-​fire million questions did NOT phase them! Chole was such a great lil ball-​o-​information the day I signed on (she did so well I upgraded without her telling me which one was best for me!) Jade was so professional and fun! Her knowledge about spray tan and color achievement goals– WOW! Today, Jax walked my daughter through her initial sign-​up — yet another amazing smiling strong-​on-​product-​knowledge DIVA! So happy with the explanations and the service and the tan! Very satisfied!

I love PBT! I have been a member on and off for over 15 years and have not had a negative experience. I enjoy working with their staff they are not pushy salespeople although they are expected to sell lotions and memberships. I will continue my relationship with Palm Beach Tan for many years to come thank you very much!

Bad experience! They are WAY overpriced, and told me the package I chose was $ 59. They they tried to charge me $ 100! Then I had been there a while about to be a new customer and let someone else who had just gotten there go before me! Then the blonde headed young girl was snotty when I asked questions! Don’t explain stuff very good and try to rip you off! Will not be going back there! Will spend my money elsewhere!

Ok first the good! The place is clean and beds are well kept.
The bad, DO NOT LET THEM AUTO BILL YOUR CREDIT CARD.
Moved to San Antonio and decided to try tanning for the first time. I did not want a membership as I was not sure if this was going to be for me. The gal at the desk explained the plans and I decided to pay for one month with no auto membership. I got my credit card statement and had been charged over $ 200. Called in and she explained the billing to to and I guessed I did not realize how expensive the lotions were. Tanned for a month and that was it.
Got an email offer for $ 19.95 a month. Went in and was upsold for 20 more bucks for higher level beds. Okay, well my first month they charged me over 60 dollars and the second month 70 dollars. Boy was I confused. Asked at the desk to explain this and was told they could not see the billing I would need to see the manager and she wasn’t in.
Finally I was so confused decided to cancel. Hard sales pitch and double talk about what I had signed up for. Beware, do not sign the electronic keypad until you see what you are signed up for.

I was just in there getting a spray tan and Britney was very helpful and informative. The entire staff is beyond helpful, kudos to all the girls working there!

I’ve tanned at many different places and I just want to say that the staff at THIS particular location is seriously the SWEETEST I have ever come across with! They’re always glad to help anyone, they smile and don’t have that «ughhh high school girl» attitude that many seem to have elsewhere, and are just always in a great mood, that they’ll even put me in a happy mood! Can’t say the same for other tanning salons in different towns, other tanning salons here in San Antonio and unfortunately can’t say the same for the Palm Beach in Lincoln Heights which is where I have to tan when I go during my lunch break.
All This place needs is a full body mirror and that would make your place perfect! :) other than that, happy to finally find the perfect tanning salon.

Salon is very clean & beds appear to be taken care of. When you walk in the tanning lotion smell is wafting through the air. They have Ergoline brand beds & offer both Versa & Mystic spray tan booths!
The employees are dressed professionally & are very knowledgeable of the beds and products.
They don’t offer single sessions or #visit packages; only memberships with enrollment fees. Womp womp.
I left without tanning, but plan on returning when I have money for a membership. Wish they offered single visits for new members to try out the beds… Just sayin’

I’ve been tanning at this location for about 8 months… I usually go about once or twice a week at most… I like beds 18 and 19 the best… The Sun Angel is cool but I don’t feel like my tan is as great compared to bed 19… The Mystic Tan definitely needs to be perfected… I tried it several years ago and HATED it. They convinced me the formula was different and to give it a try… Yeah, pretty much the same thing… I was blotchy and had random brown spots all over my body… I tried it a couple more times and decided it was not for me. They just got the VersaSpa which I actually really like but not so much the sticky feeling afterwards. It doesn’t smell as badly as the Mystic. However, they did not tell me the bronzer would stain my clothes. So, I now have a brown bra after the first time going into the Versa. I don’t do the Versa very often because I don’t like not being able to take a shower for 6 hours… My membership includes all beds + Mystic and Versa so I figured why not take advantage of it. My biggest complaint is that the Sun Angel and bed 19 are often in use when I go and I have to wait. Other than that, no complaints…

It’s that time of year again… you know, the time when you’re expected to be all bronzy and beautiful. This location is clean, and the staff is generally pretty friendly. I am a little annoyed when they try to convince me I need a $ 125 bottle of tanning lotion to go along with my top level tanning package. Ugh. Who can afford that? Not this girl! Still, I appreciate their commitment to sales. I use the Sun Angel tanning bed because I’m all paranoid about skin cancer. It has a nifty little sensor that scans your skin and adjusts the temperature of the tanning bed to ensure you won’t burn. I’ve tried the Mystic Tan a couple of times, and it’s cool but I have pretty sensitive skin so it makes me itchy… and a little orange if you try to use a shade any darker than the light option. Bottom line, it’s clean and I always leave feeling all sassy and tan for the summer!
