i literally wake up craving their miga tacos on the weekends. it is something about the cheese — just can’t get enough. but it is a great, family-owned, local favorite. love this place!

The waiting room makes you worried. It reminds you of a clinic. It was 5 de Mayo, so perhaps that also contributed too. The«bar» is located in the waiting area. It is comprised of a walk up window half split between customers & wait staff. If the line is long enough, it causes you to awkwardly stand through the middle of waiting area. The drinks were good though. They are a bit limited on tequilas. Fajitas are good. They were very tender. Food prices aren’t bad. Flour tortillas seemed a bit thick and doughy though. Overall more pros than cons and nice place.

Must try the Parrot Tail cocktail drink for $ 5.50. Very tasty drink! Cheese enchiladas are a great choice. Can’t go too wrong if it has cheese.

I love Panchito’s so much! Our whole family always enjoys meals here. Today, all I had was a cup of fideo and the queso flameado. The fideo was stellar, as always, and the queso was very good. The waiter really knew what he was doing, when he lit the cheese; did my pyromaniac heart a world of good, it did. I also had a Parrot Tail, which was yummy, and lasted all through our family gab-fest. Our waiter was great.

It’s just an average Mexican food place. Nothing too special to it. Isn’t a place I would come to time and time again. Food was warm more towards the cold side. It was edible.

My family and I are regulars here, sometimes once a week. The food is always amazing, the atmosphere is always fun and vibrant. Waitstaff is always great. If your going for dinner on Friday or Saturday, or breakfast/lunch on Sunday… Be prepared for a wait. They usually sell out of barbacoa and menudo on the weekends. I always get the pancho’s combo, beef fajitas are delicious and beef olmos taco is so good!

Not bad .not bad at all. I mean the fajitas are good, I prefer chicken .the beef are a little bland but still good quality cut of meat. Borracho beans & rice taste homemade, chili con queso tasty. and the corn & flour tortillas are pretty legit. Definitely a solid three star. Truly an authentic place to grab Tex-Mex.

The girl that picked up the phone was rude and hung up on me. I thought about calling back in to place my to go order, but I don’t want to deal with her again. When a customer says thank you, you don’t just hang up on them. Poor customer service.

This review is for the breakfast. I had the huevos a la mexicana and my husband had the huevos rancheros. We thought that the food was good and portioned well. The restaurant was busy on a Saturday morning but the service was prompt. I would return at breakfast time to try other menu items. Also, everything is reasonably priced.

I will never come back to this restaurant. I will be quick and to the point. I found a rat dropping in my food!!! I told the sever, and he said it was burnt rice… I work in a laboratory where we use rats and mice for experimental purposes… I know what rat’s poop looks like.

Panchito’s is a regular breakfast place for my family and I. Today I went with my mom around 8 am. The restaurant opens at 6:30 am but when we got there it was pretty quiet with only a few customers. Even though the restaurant had barely any customers our waiter was not very attentive. He didn’t refill our water once and if you know me I go through about 6 – 7 glasses of water in one meal. He was a bit brusque and even walked off as my mom was asking for more coffee. Even though the service was subpar, the breakfast was very tasty. I’m not usually the type of person who eats a lot of Tex-Mex food but I sure do love Migas. If you don’t know what Migas are it’s a traditional breakfast of eggs and shredded corn tortillas mixed together usually with cheese and I like to add ham to mine. The Migas were perfectly cooked and the refried beans only need a dash of salt. The potatoes served with the dish were pretty bland and definitely could’ve used a lot more seasoning. Overall not too horrible of an experience.

I was feeling like some Mexican food. Then I saw a thirsty Thursday sign with $ 2 margaritas!!! Sold!!! I came around 5pm and was seated right away. Waitress came and took my drink order and dinner order. Drink came out quickly, and food 5 min later. She checked on me twice, killed my meal and drink and rolled out. I was prob the fastest and easiest $ 5 tip she got the whole night. I was prob in the restaurant for a total of 20 min. Fast, good service, hot food, and good drinks. My kinda place!

The restaurant itself is quite filthy, especially the bathrooms. You can get some good food, if you know what to order. The whole«waiting list» concept is messed up. I have gone in there numerous times, with one other person, to be told that I have to wait thirty minutes. In front of me, are several two-person booths, empty. Every time. It’s always interesting to see how often they misspell words on their sign up front.

Not a fan at all!!! The food was eh. I’ve heard this place is good just for drinks and their chips and salsa, as their chips and salsa was yummy. The entrees were eh. Also, someone from my party ordered the chicken tortilla soup and it was a mole, completely not expected.

Food is good but the service is terrible. If you go, do not sit in the bar area. The waiter there is very rude and acts like you are putting him out by ordering or making requests. we have sat in his area several times and have not gotten any better service out of him. Today we were served by another waitress I. The main dining area. Now I think she was new but again the service was terrible. It took several requests to get the tortillas that came with the plates we ordered(and by the time they came, the food was almost already completely eaten). We asked for the manager and he took our feedback but not sure it went anywhere bc the people next to us also had to complain and STILL didn’t receive the right order. I use to really like this place but the service is terrible. We probably won’t be going back.

Okay, here goes… I have been to this place a few times, usually with someone who lives close by, so the matter of convenience is the main reason for coming here. The food is decent. No complaints. But I have a problem with the coffee. In the morning I expect a good cup of coffee. Panchito’s coffee is «thin» and not hot enough. I’m used to drinking Peet’s coffees in Emeryville and San Francisco, or really kick-butt coffee in Seattle. Temperature: I don’t want to scald my palate but I think drinking«very warm» coffee is not satisfying. Also I don’t think it’s a good idea for the wait staff to bring your coffee with a plastic spoon in it. Plastic? That just isn’t right.
