This place is an ok lunch place but they are kind of pricey for what it is to be honest. The food was good and the veggies are fresh. They have a mean chocolate brownie if you are craving a fix

Great lunch spot… unless you’re in a hurry, and depending on what you order. I like that I can choose healthy menu options that are filling, or go as unhealthy as I want with their fries! My go to is «build your plate» but I like to treat myself with their GreekTown burgers. The gyro is also a solid choice, but lately I’m really into building my own plate. They give a generous amount of protein and a large sized salad without being too much salad. The lamb & feta burger is the bomb… and those fries… can’t go wrong!

Excellent food in a nice, fun atmosphere. I highly recommend the Caprese Salad appetizer and beef ka-bob plate. Pita chips are great. Can’t go wrong here!

I’m not Greek so to comment on its authenticity would be contrite but with that said I love this place. I usually order the gyro. I’m not a huge fan of lamb but the tzatziki sauce combine with the tomato and onion make this pita sandwich just yumminess. Great location to stop in before or after shopping.

Made a slight mid-afternoon detour from shopping and slipped into Papouli’s. I’ve been to the one at the Forum and was pleasantly surprised at the spacious and artistic interior of this one. Service was good and they were able to accommodate my picky dietary issues. I was a little disappointed because there were dirty tables waiting to be bussed at 230, but I try to give the benefit of the doubt and assume we’d just missed the lunch rush. I had the capresi salad with a side of gyro meet. Most tasty. I will return.

High quality Greek food with a very cool interior! The artwork and decorations alone were very unique! I order an entrée with Gyro meat, shrimp, salad, and a fruit cup. It also came with a side of pita bread and a white sauce that I think was yogurt based. That sauce was delicious! The shrimp was grilled and seasoned nicely. The salad had was topped with a healthy serving of feta cheese and dressing. I would like to see more lettuce with it next time. He gyro meat tastes great and was very tender. The whole wheat pita paired nicely with the yogurt based white sauce. The only item I was disappointed with was the fruit cup. It seems that every time a fruit cup is used as a side, they use the bare minimum. The bowl could fit in the palm of my hand, and more than half the fruit in the bowl were grapes. Maybe next time I can convince them to give me a better selection. The price is right $ 8-$ 12 on average. I will visit again!

So maybe this isn’t the cheapest place I’ve been, but wow! You get a nice sized plate of food, very fresh, good quality ingredients. The beef kabobs are sooooo delicious. Also, a really nice Greek salad. This may sound odd, but they also have really good, strong sweet tea. Great place!

First time here and it was great. A friend of mine is a regular and has always recommended the place. My medium sized wheat gyro was delicious and the price is very reasonable. Meat was very tender and flavorful, as well as the tzaziki sauce. Ambiance/atmosphere is very relaxed with mellow italian and spanish music. Will definitely return.

Got caught in a downpour at the Alamo Quarry yesterday. We were looking for a good place to eat to pass the time and found this place from Unilocal. The food was good but it’s self-service — you go up to the cashier and order your food then wait for your name to be called. We ordered the Mediterrenean salad with chicken. Ordered a couple of appetizers to try them out. The hummus with pita was excellent. The fried calamari — well, it’s ok but I probably won’t get it again. Greens were fresh and they had free soda! That’s a plus! Overall, it was a pleasant place to have Greek food on the fly.

This place never disappoints. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. Very nice and friendly waist staff, and manager works closely alongside. You can’t go wrong with anything you order, from the baked pasticchio to the Mediterranean salad. Enjoy!

Last night after a long day with our family hiking and river playing we came home to a Mom who had little desire to cook. That Mom would be me. Four adult children and a grandson, yes, I did not want to cook. Ran to Papouli’s forgot they had curbside take out which was great. They grabbed my order and in 20 minutes I had gyros and kabobs for everyone. Healthy food; quick services and all the kids were happy including the grandson. They are a great restaurant that understand the importance of service which is what I needed after a long day of family fun!

Not the best review — and never got to try to the food. I was trying to caterer for a luncheon. Left 5 messages with no response. Then finally someone answered the phone and told they were really not interested in taking my order. They explained there was a minimum order — OK, they explained there was a delivery fee — OK, they said it would be $ 9 extra per plate — OK, they said there was a $ 150 minimum — Ok. OK to every answer and they still didn’t want to take my order. good luck with that attitude. I’ll be doing stand up Friday night for about 300 and plan to add you to my skit.

The three stars is mostly because of the service and bumbling staff. Yesterday my boyfriend and I headed out for lunch and by the time we ordered and sat down we realized we were really hungry! But since we ordered only a gyro pita and a Mediterranean diet salad with gyro I wasn’t worried about waiting. But we did wait… a full 25 minutes… with a nearly empty restaurant… we continued looking fervently at the kitchen imagining eventually something might appear but no. Finally a man that I assume was the manager walked over and asked if we were waiting on something:(apparently the ticket printer had run out of paper and no one had noticed or bothered to refill it. Now in reference to the food, it was delicious. I’m not sure if it was because I was so hungry or not but wow it was good. If anything I might say there was a bit too much dressing(vinegar and olive oil) and not enough of that wonderful tzatziki sauce! The boyfriend seemed to really enjoy the gyro pita and the lemon orzo that came with it was exactly what you hope for in Greek food, filling but light and doesn’t put you into a food coma. All in all I would’ve given this place 4 stars if not for the order mix up and the lack of an excuse of a rush hour type situation.

Good food, served fast and we were happy with the service… Only my second time there, the lamb gyros are the awesome, so are the skewers. I dont normally eat lamb but its great here… Manager came by and checked on us and was very courteous… I will be back when in the area!

The service here was much friendlier and accommodating than at Demo’s on St. Mary’s. The Greek salad was very good and so was my gyro. They have plenty of options to choose from in regards to sides or the type of pita you want served. I would definitely return again.

I love Greek/Mediterranean food and generally like the food here, but it’s a solid 3 star kind of place. Just average. I usually get a salad and the lettuce is always wilted and doesn’t seem very fresh. I wish the food quality was better, I would eat here more often if it was.

Oh Papouli’s how I miss thee. When I lived in San Antonio this was one of my favorite go to places. It’s hard to stray from what you know but I always got the gyro wrap with fries and a drink. Meat is flavorful and tender the fries seemed to be fresh cut so it’s way better than other places. One of my most favorite things about getting the gyro wrap is the tzatzki sauce. That very fresh, mellow cucumber is a great compliment to the meat. On this reunion I changed it up and got a tabelouh salad. This was a great side to my wrap. I loved how fresh it was and the lemon and olive oil made it taste so wonderful. The staff was friendly. I’m guessing it was a manager that was making rounds and stopped by my table to see how everything was. Service quick and friendly and the food was just as good as I remembered. Oh Papouli’s how I miss thee.

Was in town from Hawaii for work, and we saw this spot while driving around the parking lot area of the Alamo Quarry. We Unilocaled it and saw it had pretty good reviews. They have FREE wifi! I ordered the traditional Gyro with Shrimp Skewers, with a nice serving of greek salad and side of tabouleh. The meat shavings were kind of generic, as if taken from a package and not freshly cut. Food tasted okay, not super fresh. I didn’t mind too much because the serving was pretty good for $ 11.99. Posted pics!
