Food was good and prepared fast during noon rush. Staff was very nice. Parking is limited during the noon rush.

One of the best fried chicken around. Fresh, tasteful and employees very friendly. I can’t get enough from this place.

Omg this was truly the best. My boyfriend went to college in Louisiana, and told me about this place so we went and it was like the freshest chicken finger experience I could have ever dreamed of. Not to mention how lovely the service was. The nice fellow in the pink hat made sure we had a stellar experience, and my lemonade cup was full. Plus he may be the only dude that can pull off diamond earings… for real. Anyhow I’ll definitely be returning

It’s a chicken fingers only restaurant. That’s it. They how they advertose. I don’t get why people don’t understand this and still expect lots of choices. Then they get upset. It’s pretty straight foward. You want 2, 3, 4, 6 strips with fries and cole slaw. The chicken fingers are ok. Their isn’t much flavor. The breading isn’t so fried you’re biting into crunchy bread pieces and not chicken. Although it was the 2nd time I came here. For me, the food is just average and I wouldn’t miss it if it closed down.

awesome food and wonderful service! The cane sauce is a sweet tangy sauce and it’s great with everything– I recommend getting an extra toast! I used the drive-thru and the order taker was very polite and double checked our order to make sure everything was correct. food was quick and delicious, we will definitely be back!

The food is just as good as the location on Bandera and the lemonade is better too. The service here is good too and the location is perfect for me.

My wife ate their chicken sandwich and almost immediately got food poisoning. It’s okay though because the kind manager assured me that it couldn’t possibly be from the food because he ate there earlier and he’s fine…

I was skeptical. .I mean it’s a restaurant that only makes chicken strips! I now know how this place stays in business, what they lack in variety they make up for in taste. Their sauce us amazing, and being a self proclaimed ranch dressing addict, I can honestly say I did not have an urge to deviate from their sauce.

I can’t put my finger on it, but the chicken here is missing something. Seasoning, maybe? Also, the crinkle fries are lame and tasteless. RC is good in a pinch, but too pricey for it to be a dinner option frequently.

Regular canes customer and this particular location has yet to WOW me especially after 9pm… don’t expect a wide variety they serve what they advertise… chicken fingers. However, despite their terrible service in the evening hours you can usually rely on Canes for hot fresh chicken fingers, toasty bread, delicious sweet tea, and relaxed atmosphere. Personally, the location is more a reason to return than the service.

Hours posted were 10:30AM. At 11:25PM the drive through and store were closed. Would like to have had a chance to try the food.

Quality chicken place in SA, I got a box meal, which for only $ 7 you get 4 fingers, texas toast, fries and cole slaw, it’s a good deal, nothing special but i enjoyed it, plus they’re multi functional ketchup packets are pretty cool

So I have wanted to try this place for years; I just never got around to it. I naturally had very high expectations. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. The dipping sauce for the chicken?! Forget about it. Awesomely epic. But I came here for out of this world chicken strips. The only saving grace was the dipping sauce. The chicken was OK. It was bland. One of my strips was even on the tough side. If I didn’t have the sauce; I wouldn’t have enjoyed them as much. And for $ 6+; I expect more than 3 small strips. The fries? It’s just your typical crinkle cut«frozen from the store» fare. The bread? The piece was good; especially dipped in that sauce. Would I come back? I’m not sure. Chick-fil-A Chicken Strips are far superior. Just my two cents…

This place is a big deal on the east coast — especially in the Carolinas; however, I’ve never made it to one when there. So… I was thrilled to hear that they are local!!! Now, I would FINALLY get to try what everyone else back in the Carolinas had raved about. Well, this may be a case of one too many people talking about how awesome they are… because it was nowhere near as good as I had hoped. Service: The girl that took our order was fine. Not really friendly, but she got the job done. The person I assumed to be the manager came by… he was nice and helpful. Food: The food was hot. BIG plus in my world. However, the menu is very limited. It really comes down to: Do you want 2, 3 or 4 chicken strips? Wow. Overall, the fries were crunchy but maintained the potato flavor. The coleslaw is mayo based. It was average. The toast was scrumptious! Best thing on my platter. The chicken — was okay. The breading, at times, was overwhelming. I will say that it filled me up really quickly. I got 4 strips and barely ate 2. The sauce they give you is flavorful and tasty. I did enjoy the sauce, but I preferred it on my fries… The big winner — Sweet Tea! I could hear the sound of the ocean while I’m sitting on a Carolina beach! :) That was some tasty sweet tea! Yum! All in all — I would go back if in the area, but I’m not going to make a special trip.

I’m not sure why anyone would choose to eat here when there’s a Whataburger two doors down. You only have 2 choices: chicken strips or chicken strips on a bun. The strips are bland, the fries are mediocre, and the Cane’ sauce has very little flavor. The only thing that is worth eating is the Texas toast. I will say, the service has always been very good. On one of my many visits, the manager advised that he decided to throw away all of the chicken because it didn’t look very good. I had to wait a little bit longer, but my son said that the chicken was very good. FYI — The only reason I ever visit this place is for my son, he’s a huge fan… He needs better taste buds. LOL

Hearing the commercials, finally got me to come in. I like the décor and the set-up, as far as order, move left to the drinks then go find your seat. The dining room is pretty small though, especially since there’s really not a lot of locations to choose from. I get to the counter and the only person standing there. The girl looks at me and then starts having a mini conversation with the kitchen staff. She then ask another girl(green shirt) if the floors need to be cleaned. The girl in green asks if she’s helped me yet, and the original girl actually looked confused by the question. Ultimately, the green girl helped me and went to clean the floor, leaving the original girl standing around. Food came quick though and was fresh. Now, here’s where I just don’t get the hype. For a chicken finger place, there just isn’t anything that sticks out in flavor or appearance. They’re just normal chicken fingers that you can get pretty much anywhere. The fries are normal crinkle cut that you can also get anywhere. Coleslaw is average as well. Cane sauce is actually the worst part. It’s like watered down thousand islands dressing. No thanks. Where are the traditional chicken finger sauces like gravy, honey mustard, ranch, etc? The Texas toast though is perfection. Buttery, light crisp when you bite in and flaky/chewy center. Sweet tea is really good as well. If this was a Texas toast and sweet tea restaurant, they’d have a customer for life. I also don’t care for the volume of the dining room(which is clean) music. It’s local mixes, but you have to talk above a normal speaking voice. I did leave here full though. Not stuffed, which is perfect. I don’t think I’ll be going back, since I can get the same product with more variations elsewhere.

I like the chicken, bread and fries. The Cane sauce and cole slaw are both too sweet for my taste. The service is good and friendly. Service quick. I would like more dipping sauce options other than Cane sauce and ketchup. It is a convenient option for a fast bite.

Simple concept, great food and stellar service. Raising Cane’s has been a favorite since college and they continue to impress. If you like chicken you’ll love Cane’s. Don’t forget to try the lemonade and ice tea.

I enjoyed the chicken fingers here! The service was stellar– we had perhaps three people come by and check up on us to make sure that everything was alright with our chicken fingers. Loved the fact that they’re open late, and the place is well lit and safe. The chicken fingers were quite tasty. They serve them up with their own dipping sauce that’s sort of like a gravy. The fries were adequate, nothing to write home about. I think that my favorite thing about this place is the Sweet Tea. It’s delicious. It’s not quite as sweet as Bill Miller’s, but it’s still fairly good. The food came out quickly, and piping hot. Loved the presentation. The chicken fingers were artfully fanned out, and not just dumped from the fryer onto my basket. The french fries were lovingly spread across the wax paper. You could tell that they worked on making the food look appetizing. The décor is interesting. It seems that the owner just went out and got random pictures of random things and pasted them up on the wall. I also don’t really care for the fact that they’re pushing both Alamo Heights Mules and McArthur Brahamas. Pick a side, folks! You’re in ’09, act like it. Gooo Mules!
