While traveling back home from a work function with co-workers, we decided to stop here to have a margarita before jumping on the connecting flight. While the waitress we met was kind and helpful with describing the drink options, the drinks themselves were not good. We ordered three different margaritas and they were all too sour to enjoy. I hate to base a review off of drinks from the airport Mexican restaurant but that’s all I got… Order a draft beer instead.

Their breakfast is good. It’s simple and fast and reliable. Not much too it. This place isn’t fancy as you get plasticware and their aren’t many drink options in the morning. But my husband and I would go back for breakfast.

Waiting for friends to pick us up and had time to eat. Reviews were good decided to try. What a surprise. We both got 3 tacos each different styles. They were very good. Salsa was good as well. Service was very good. Would definately recommend and come back when in town.

Wow! I am so pleasantly surprised. Usually airport food is mediocre(aside from The Frontera Grill at O’Hare) but Rosarios did not disappoint. I ordered the parillas con camerones(shrimp skillet) and it was delicious. The guac was on point, and the beans, rice and tortillas were tasty. I would eat here again in a hot second, and given my flight delay, I just might.

With not many decent options in Terminal B(as opposed to Terminal A). Rosario’s always comes to my mind. And it manages to disappoint in one way or another. For someone not local, it might be 4 star but here is the issue: — I hear waitress’s say it’s home cooking. Not quite. — here is the biggest crime. They charge for tortillas!!! $ 1.50 for 2. Ok. I am going to assume that it isn’t cheap having a restaurant in the airport. But here is the irony. They are not fresh tortillas!!! Come on Rosario’s! You have lost my business until either you stop charging for tortillas or they are freshly made.

Authentic mexican, decent prices, freezing cold beers. All around great place especially for an airport. Beware of dishes with refried beans in them though, they seem to end up being almost entirely refried beans with only a hint of chicken or beef inside. This is probably why they can keep the prices reasonable, they’re serving everyone bean enchiladas and bean tacos.

Wasn’t sure about this place after reading the lukewarm reviews, but I’m chalking it up to crabby reviewers with delayed flights. I ordered a frozen Margarita while waiting out a weather delay — it was frosty and delicious, and also enjoyable even at the airport price of $ 11+. I love enchiladas, but didn’t see any in the menu that I was in the mood for. My server said no problem, I was more than welcome to mix and match — so I ordered some cheese enchiladas with green tomatillo sauce. The food arrived promptly and piping hot, and the enchiladas were generously stuffed with Mexican cheese. I loved the tomatillo sauce, which was deliciously tangy. My dish also came with a side of salsa that had such a smoky flavor that I suspect it probably had a dash of the liquid stuff. Regardless, it was very good, and my server was nice enough to bring me a side of chips so that I could finish it. Overall, a good airport restaurant.

I have eaten breakfast here many times and have enjoyed it. Tonight I had a late flight and thought I would give it a try for dinner. The quality of the food was poor, the server lacked personality and the over all experience was disappointing.

Pretty decent cuisine for a restaurant airport, and the atmosphere isn’t bad either. I almost forgot I was at the airport while I stopped in for a snack before my flight. The hostess took me to my table(which had just been cleaned, so it was still pretty wet) and my waitress showed up immediately to take my order. I ordered a coke(but I’m pretty they serve Pepsi) and the bean and cheese nachos for $ 8.99. I asked if the cheese on their nachos was real or that weird liquid ballpark cheese(I hope that wasn’t rude, but I wanted to double check)! The waitress assured me they’re made with regular cheese. My plate looked delicious with all the vibrant colors(red corn tortilla chips, white and yellow cheddar cheese, fresh pico de gallo, jalapeños, and salsa). I wish my meal had been a little hotter when it was served to me, but it was still satisfying. I loved the side dish of pickled jalapeños and the bright red tomatoes in the pico. The produce seemed pretty fresh and there was a generous amount of real cheese. The San Antonio airport is so small, you really don’t have a lot to choose from when it comes to restaurants. And honestly, I think this spot is a pretty solid choice for Tex-Mex even if it wasn’t in an airport. Attractive menu with plenty of affordable options, cold beer, pretty frozen margaritas… The service is friendly and the cuisine is comfortingly familiar.

Excellent experience. I was thrown off by the queso I ordered. Was sort of like the velveta dips I used to have as a child. I would probably order a different appetizer next time. But the salsa that came with it was very good. I ordered the lime vinaigrette salad with chicken and I was very impressed! I will definitely come back again when I visit this airport.

I had the worst tres leches cake of my life here, but the waitress apologized and wrote it off the check, so I guess all is forgiven. They have a really good bread pudding here, and their margaritas are hUUUGE and well worth the value. Just don’t order the tres leche.

I had an excellent experience at the airport eating here. Very tasty, and my food was hot and served quickly. I recommend the beef fajitas. My server was extremely attentive without being intrusive. All around an excellent experience, particularly for an airport location. This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in San Antonio and I plan to visit again the next time I’m in town.

Just had some quick breakfast tacos on the go right next to the end of terminal B. Love their location on South Alamo, I was very happy to find a location in the terminal.

Small cantina offering food and drinks. Service: A little slow but otherwise excellent. Food: We ordered(1) the Chorizo and Egg Tacos on Corn Tortilla, and(2) the Chorizo and Egg Scramble Plate with Refried Beans and Flour Tortillas. Both were good serving size and tasty. The Coffee &OJ were also good but not much different than what you’d get from a neighboorhood café. Still better than what’s at most airport cafés. Bar: The bar area looks to seat 10 or more at first glance but the seats are paralleled by a long standing bar with a shelf giving more than enough room for this terminal. Since I was on an early AM flight I didn’t order any drinks so can’t comment on the quality of bar tenders mix… sorry, maybe next time. Cleanliness: Pretty good all the way across the board. Tables, chairs and floors all appeared clean. Overall: The polite but SLOW service with an airport terminal restaurant unfortunately drops Rosario’s from a 4 to a 3 for me making it just A-OK for now.

Finding tasty food at an airport is very rare. I had some delicious fajitas here — will probably make it for my lunch and dinner– and the service was great!

Reviews were good but didn’t match experience. Eggs in the breakfast tacos were under cooked and runny, service was mediocre. Terrible food.

Unfortunately, I’m a huge fan of the Rosario’s Restaurant downtown and I just couldn’t help comparing this airport location in Terminal B with the original one — it’s an airport restaurant, what was I thinking? The food’s not that bad, it’s just the location — it’s an airport! But I did figure something out, the margaritas are still fantastic. Salud.

The San Antonio Airport is not a fun place to be stuck at. It’s tiny, boring and healthy food choices are sparse. Unfortunately I am currently in this situation as I write this. I am not a fan of the standard Tex Mex, so I bypassed Rosario’s previously. After having the greasiest burger ever at another airport restaurant here I decided to try this place out instead. I was pleasantly surprised. Of course they have the usual variety of tacos, enchiladas and so on but they also have a good selection of soups, salads and other things to make you forget the Alamo. I tried the chipotle chicken soup. It was a treat! Freshly made with good ingredients. Actual chipotle peppers, grilled chicken, fresh avocado and a tasty side of rice. In addition, I had the fish tacos and they were probably some of the best I’d had in a while. Good portions and lots of fresh ingredients.
