Well, one star for no line, and one star for decent music. The whole setup is in dire need of a makeover! The atmosphere just wasn’t my taste today. I remember coming here years ago, and it looks exactly the same. Except for the moldy smell… that is new. I was a bit grossed out by that. I won’t be suggesting this place again which is sad because I enjoy the bar scene opposed to the club scene. There also wasn’t an organized system between the bartenders. Waiting 5 – 10 minutes to have my order taken, while sitting right at the bar, during what seemed to be a very slow night (got there way before the crowd) left a bad taste. After my first mixed drink I knew I had to stick to beer.

After we dropped our son off at the AFB, Lackland. We needed some drinks, found this spot and as the night went on it got better. The DJ was playing my 80’s old school, and 90’s hip hop. As other restaurants closed it started getting more packed. It’s dead before 930pm so don’t be in a rush. Bartenders were pretty friendly.

Wow!!! This bar staff is not too friendly or very observant. This was not the first time i visit Roxy’s and there are no lines to get a drink and yet it takes forever to get the wait staffs attention. The only reason i went was because my friends invited and i wanted to get them another chance. As you walk in the scent of old and maybe vomit hit you senses. This is not what I want smell when I walk into any bar. There are plenty to TV’s, pool table and some dart boards. So if you in the area and want a hole in the wall bar this might be your spot.

I called at 6pm and dude on the phone didnt sound happy at all. When I asked what kind of drink specials they had on a Thursday, he responded with come and see. He then hung up the phone. I will not be going to see

Worst place ever! I was here with a girlfriend of my mine for the first time ever had one beer. And after that it was hard to get a drink from two bartenders that worked there. Second when I asked the guy bartender what his name was he replied,” I don’t ever give my name out because that’s personal” Lol rude service mind you this place was ghetto! Later we come to find out guys name is Robert. I say later because it took about an hour to get tab from these people. Never again. Place is a disgust to industry of bars in San Antonio. Hello great the women right so you can have business.

Wow… this was so bad. it was clean but nobody was was here. The spurs were playing and they had a western movie on. We left, went somewhere better. Probably wont return.

It’s an OK dive. I have been four or five times over the years and would likely go more often if it was in my neighborhood. It’s not too smokey and the drinks are not too pricey. They score bonus points for the shuffle board table and for having Stella on tap. It gets pretty loud when the band plays but not so loud you can’t talk to your friends. Bring some friends, grab some drinks and play some games. A good time will be had.

Been here a few times. Service is always slow, confined bar making it extremely loud when live bands play, and mediocre drink specials. Guy to girl ratio? 10 guys to 7 girls I would say on average.
