What a wonderful evening. My wife and I met 10 years ago (a few days ago) and were married six weeks later. To start our celebration we chose to start at Ruth’s Chris. We had originally planned on going to the RiverWalk Location as we have been there and enjoyed it but noticed that the La Cantera (misnomer btw) location was open so we switched our OpenTable reservation. I am glad we did because it was a wonderful experience.
As has been mentioned in other reviews, the location is a bit tricky but if you put in the Eilan Hotel you will find the restaurant quite easily.
We were promptly greeted, as always with Ruth’s Chris, by the hostess who was very friendly. She asked for our name and quickly had our reservation up. We were soon following one of the host staff to our table. We were very pleasantly surprised when we were seated in a private two person booth that has rose petals all over the table. The host wished us a happy Anniversary. Very nice touch Ruth’s Chris! Your other location did not do this in the past.
Our server Erin was there promptly and she also congratulated us and asked some questions about us and our celebrations. She was amazing! In the rankings of all excellent servers we have had she was easily in the top 3.
Erin was attentive the entire time from start to finish. She never let us want a thing. It was as if she thought about it before we realized we wanted/needed it. She took our order quickly We shared a Tomato and Mozzarella salad which was followed by a NY Strip for my wife and a Ribeye for m
