We were here to witness the perpetual vows of 3 Salesian Sisters. It’s a beautiful, soaring church(Gothic architecture), emphasized further by the number of stairs one must climb to reach the doors(I learned later that there is an elevator if you enter at ground level). Interesting were the pews, which are designed to seat only two, with arm-rests between the two and full gaps from pew to pew. I’ve never seen this style before, and figure it must make it tough to pack people in for well-attended events(like the graduation liturgies).
