This is written from the perspective of a dad and his 14 yo, Monday afternoon: GOODJOB. Free pool on Mondays till 9pm — hell yeah! Me and my boy had a good time shooting pool and the two servers who walk through the pool haul were attentive. I found a new looking que with cherry stained maple,(few and far between) but 2 of the first 3 sticks we rolled were pretty darn straight. Food price was good. You get 2 corn dogs for about $ 2. We also got a couple of cokes and mozzarella sticks. Came out to about 12 bucks. It does not seem home made but it’s bar food. Music was good — Metallica, Slipknot. Felt on tables is ok but definitely not new. IMPROVEMENTSNEEDED. No hand chalk — you can see where the hand chalk should be but none there. This is a must for a pool haul, it’s equipment. Carpet needs to be cleaned at least. No AC. The plastic cup from one of the corner pockets kept coming loose and actually blocked my pocket once. Overall we played pool, ate, hung out for like 2 ½ hours. It was real cool and not too crowded when we got there around 5:30pm. Like I said it was free pool and cheap food so the value for money is there. We’ll go back.

Worst service I have ever had anywhere and I’ve worked in the service industry. Will never patron this place again.

My friends and I had TERRIBLE service! It was bad. One girl kept getting mad at my friends saying«Are you playing or not?» constantly every 5 minutes. And when my friend had to go to the restroom, my game was paused because my other friends didn’t want to pay. So that same waitress came back and asked«Are you guys done yet?» We had to leave because our friends and I couldn’t stand the service there anymore. I will NEVER go back there again.

Fun place. Our waitress, Natasha, was very helpful & knowledgeable. Free pool with food purchase on Tuesday. All Brunswick tables with good felt and no holes that I saw. Cool eightball made out of small pieces of tile in the entry way. Seating options of pool tables, cocktail tables or bar. Good selection of music on the jukebox which is turned off long enough to scream«last call!» around 130am. :) Fun & rowdy for a Tues but not in an overwhelming way. The good times keep rolling in San Antonio!

I really love the concept of a ‘family’ pool hall. The fact that the hubby and I can bring our kids here and have fun teaching them pool outside of the house is great. My only wish for this place is updated equipment and tables. We have our own pool sticks but when we play at halls, the hubby and I prefer to break with their sticks as opposed to our own. At this location(and the only one in S.A.), the sticks were seriously bent up and the tables were curved on the corner pockets(probably due to people sitting on the tables). The food wasn’t all that great either and for some of the customers who brought their kids(whose kids were not playing), they just let their kids run around everywhere.
