Starbucks

Subpar coffee, location and shoddy behavior from these baristas. I ordered a grande 2-​pump pumpkin spice soy latte today. Was given a three quarters full latte that was overly sweet, not sure if she missed the 2-​pump only memo.
I actually went back and asked her to fill the cup all the way because it was literally three fingers shy of being full, after paying over $ 6 for a coffee the least they could do is give you a full cup. Anyway, the girl with the blue/​green hair was sweet about it. She had to steam more soy milk to fill up the latte– thus said (I was under the impression that she used pre steamed soy that was in her pitcher from before and instead of steaming fresh milk from the beginning with the proper amount she lazily made my drink and thought I would go on my way and not notice)
Anyway– the store cleanliness is another issue. I don’t know if the manager was off today it’s New Year’s Eve or what. But the floors are dirty, little papers, crumbs, and dirt everywhere. The bathrooms are filthy.
Definitely will not visit this SB again.

I don’t usually review chains because what’s the point? They all seem to do their job approximately the same. But I frequent this Starbucks because of location, and I’ve had less than consistent service and coffee.
One time, after reviewing Reddit’s Starbucks hacks, we asked for a pour over. The employee told us that they don’t do those unless they’ve run out of brewed coffee. Okay. After asking twice and getting a passive aggressive no, we moved on.
I usually get an Americano with a bit of soy; sometimes it’s great but sometimes it tastes acidic, watery, or just not great. It’s never consistent.
Service can be great at times, but other baristas simply don’t care.
I’ll keep coming back because of proximity, but I do wish for better service!

I stopped by today, and still no improvement from my previous visit. I ordered an iced unsweet green tea, and was given a sweetened tea. I guess it was my fault for not tasting it before i walked back to my car, but i have never received the wrong drink when ordering this previously. They had 4 people working. Two people appeared to be new and I think that may be why my order was not correct and even though I had to wait a significant amount of time in a long line I didn’t receive any apology.

This Starbucks is not my favorite location. No drive thru here. It’s relatively small and the area around De Zavala can get chaotic and busy. There isn’t a lot of seating in this Starbucks so I never come here to study. It is located where the old Barnes and Nobles used to be near De Zavala and the HEB. People often stay outside to smoke and the area is small, so you can smell everything and see everything as you go inside.
The coffee tastes the same as most other starbucks. Love the caramel frapps during the summer, white choco mochas, and caramel brulee lattes during the holidays. My family comes here every now and then when we are doing some grocery shopping at the nearby HEB.
