Taqueria Los Dos Laredos

OK, not sure if I can trust a Mexican restaurant that doesn’t serve Margaritas! in town on business. Looked on Unilocal for Mexican and decided to try this place. I had beef enchiladas and Menudo. Both were average at best. Not sure what’s up with the first three reviews but I know there has to be better close by. I would recommend trying other places, again it started out bad with NO Margaritas.

I stopped by randomly and figured it out as The best food around this area… reasonable, highly recommend for the fish soup… I live in Houston but definitely next time come here when i pass these area…

This place has a huge menu. It goes on for pages and pages!
The lunch specials are stellar. Delicious! I had the carne asada plate, which could have easily fed three people.
The tortillas were fluffy and made on site. They were delivered piping hot.
I loved the frijoles! They seemed to be more bacon grease than beans– I was delirious with frijole induced delight!
The service was friendly and speedy. My drink never went empty, and the waitstaff kept a close eye on me to make sure everything was simply sympatico!
The place wasn’t especially clean, with a few dirty tables, and a bit of a sticky floor, but the food and great service more than made up for it!
The salsas were INCREDIBLE! The green one haunts my dreams with its smoky heat that was delightfully dangerous because it was so hot.
I’ll certainly return!
