Thanks For Vaping

The staff at this store are helpful and friendly, BUT they are regularly out of stock on their own brand of juice. I have went back twice looking for two different flavors of juice and both times they were out. This has happened so many times over the 2 years I have been going there. It’s very aggravating. So I end up buying elsewhere. I hope they can better stock their stores or I will have to find a new place for all of my supplies. Which is too bad because I really like the people who work there.

Love love them! My other half and I have been going to Thanks for Vaping for almost 2years now since we quit smoking. We have tried others but nothing compares to them. We will always continue our service here. They are knowledgeable if you don’t know what your doing and will answer all your questions. If your on the hunt for something new they try to help you find the taste your looking for. Quitting smoking and switching to vaping is the best thing we have ever done. Improved PFT (pulmonary function test) to prove the benefits! If you want to quit smoking due to an ash tray mouth and hate the smell but enjoy smoking and still get the same effect Thanks For Vaping is your answer! They also have 2 locations which I go back and forth from for products. They will also send them over or put bottles on hold for you if needed with no frustration. Always kind too. Keep on smiling guys & gals! Keep up the good work & class & in a matter of time you will take over the town!

I wanted to quit smoking cigarettes by substituting cancer sticks with vaping; however, I knew very little about vaping itself. This place is very close to my home so I decided to give it a go. The woman who helped me was *super* nice, and did not act like an elitist snob at all… I was ready to spend $ 150 on an awesome vape set-​up but she encouraged me to stick to the less expensive vapes until I was sure I could quit smoking. I thought this was awesome because she wasn’t just trying to up-​sell. I did quit smoking, and I came back to TFV for a new, better vape. Definitely give them a shot!

A coworker recommended I try vaping with high praise of this particular store. When I first visited, I was surprised of the professionalism and the fact that anyone can «taste test» from countless of e-​juices. Don’t know what your looking for? Ask and they’ll make accurate recommendations based on your questions. Now, I vape and only shop at Thanks for Vaping. My favorite tank is the CC 2.4 Clearo ($ 6). My favorite e-​juices are Siberian Fireball ($ 20) and Cosmonaut ($ 22). Very fair prices (compared to the local competitors that charge double)

There are a lot of vape shops in San Antonio that are better than this one. It’s expensive, dark inside, and the people who work there are not friendly to «newbies». There’s an «elitist» attitude and on my second of two visits there, the guy behind the counter made me feel stupid for not knowing what the different types of batteries were called. He tried to upsell me several times before finally another employee there «reminded» him that there was a cheaper battery — the very one I was looking for in fact. He seemed unhappy to help me get what I needed in my price range. Also, ever since I started buying juice from them, it has been clogging my cartomizer within a couple of days. I will gladly drive a little farther to go to any one of the other shops that have better customer service and a better product.
I guess if I were totally vape-​obsessed and wanted lots of extras and «bigger better» equipment I might feel more welcome there, but for folks who just want a plain old vaporizer to keep from smoking real cigarettes, I would not recommend. I won’t come back to this shop.

I love this place! I got my vaporizer in Austin but I live in San Antonio. These things are amazing! I love the cinnamon flavors they have. Ever since I started vaping I haven’t wanted one cigarette — they just taste disgusting compared to these. And I was a Marlboro Black 2-​pack-​a-​day smoker :)

Great service and friendly staff. All e-​liquids are available to taste at your leisure. As many as you want, too. Moderate selection of batteries and accessories at fair prices. Would really like to see a larger variety of advanced mods, tanks, etc.

Okay, so here’s the thing: apparently, I am a total introvert and that made me hate this place the first few times. Not for any fault of their merchandise, expertise, or pricing, but because they really do intend this place as a spot to hang out and be buddies. I am, without a doubt, weird, about when and where I choose my friends, so I tend to withdraw when people offer me granola as a reason to join their tribe (I can’t eat granola anyway). Of course, another patron pointed out that, «You can’t make friends with granola!!!» I didn’t feel so snooty after that.
Their products are great. A cartomizer with two extra coils for $ 14? Done. Extensive selection of vapor flavors? Done and done. But really, for me, it’s about the customer service. Every time I have called, they have given me great advice or information over the phone. Every time I have been in, the employees have been knowledgable, friendly, and very, very helpful. I have been in several times, dealt with many different employees, and they all stick to the same high standards of customer service.
I know they are moving soon (July 1), and I think they said they were moving somewhere nearby, but even if they were way the hell across town, I would make the trip for these guys.
This is a good place to spend your money.

Awesome place!!! Great service, very knowledgeable and resonably priced and they recognize the military! I would drive here rather then go to the one that’s closer to my house because they are worth that trip!

I love this store! I’m actually going back soon for more juice. I went in September and bought 3 vap kits for myself, boyfriend and a friend. We all love our ecigs. Randy greeted me with a smile and was awesome at explaining the difference between the different kits. All three of us are very pleased with the kits I settled on. I wouldn’t have had a clue what to look for, and thanks to Randy my first kit purchase has made me very happy!
