Awesome customer service. I went there to rent the tow dolly. After providing all my info come to find out the ones they had were broken, unaware per the computer, the guy said he would give me the full auto trailer for the same price. Went got the trailer hooked up and I was off. I was in and out in less than 30 mins. Return was a breeze as well. Thanks guys for your consideration today, it made my bad situation, less stressful. We flew from PHX to SA with an appointment to get a hitch installed at Pep Boys off Eckert and Bandera Rd. Now, we came out here to buy a 500 gallon smoker pit which is what we needed the hitch for. Now, instead of giving me a hitch that FIT my vehicle, they (Pep Boys) had me wait 2 hours just for them to pull my vehicle into the bay AND THEN come tell me my vehicle doesn’t have weldernuts and can not get the hitch installed! It’s only something a dealership offers!!! I called this uhaul 3 minutes later which we already had an appt with to get the light wiring installed. Mark, I assume the manager, chuckled and said we can get you taken care of just come in for your 3 o clock appointment. Between Marks customer service and courteousness, and Miguels knowledge of the vehicle and what was needed, we are so satisfied. Uhaul carried the hitch specific to my vehicle. They weren’t just trying to make something work! Great job Mark, and Miguel (the young guy who installed the hitch). Oh yea and that other kid who was running all over the place, doing 5 tasks at once! We appreciate you. We have the smoker now and heading back to GLENDALE AZ!

Scheduled to have a hitch installed and a trailer rented for my cross-​country move. Called before taking it in the day of the installation and my hitch was not in yet and the couldn’t track it to find out where it was. Turns our after a series of lies they never ordered it and ended up having to overnight it and have it installed the following day causing my move to be delayed by a day and a huge ripple effect. The GM, Justin Jones is one of the rudest managers I have ever dealt with in my life. He refused to except responsibilities for his mistakes and blamed me and other people for his forgetfulness. He offered a very small discount that by no means covered the added expenses I accrued because of his mistake and his attitude about the whole thing was the unbelievably rude! While I was in there waiting for my hitch to be installed several other unhappy customers were in there and the way Justin mistreated them was shocking! Immediately after I left, I called corporate and had to fight to get more money back. The problem with Uhaul is that they are franchised and every time I called my complaints were being sent to Justin and he was ignoring them. Eventually, I was able to get his regional manager on the phone and he was so nice and ended up giving me more money back. If you can avoid using Uhaul altogether do it, but if you have to DO NOT use this location.

AVOID using U-​Haul, particularly this location.
1. Online quote for truck rental stated 3-​days. In person quote and phone quote for truck rental told me the rental was for 3-​days. However, on the day I went to pick up the truck, in small type on the contract it was mysteriously changed to 2-​days. I was charged $ 59 more for an additional day when I dropped off truck.
2. Went to pick up truck and waited 40 minutes before 2^nd truck was ready. 1^st truck had non-​working AC and fuel was LESS than what contract stated. As a result after being an hour late, I had to re-​schedule movers who were waiting to load the truck.
3. Manager, Vince, was rude and confrontational. When I contacted the national customer service #, I received a refund for the OVERCHARGE of $ 59. However, I later found out (without a call nor email) that the refund was REJECTED upon review by Vince. U-​Haul customer service supervisor said they would not honor the quoted rental rate EVEN THOUGH I EMAILED THEM THE QUOTE from the U-​Haul website.
THERE ARE NUMEROUS U-​Haul locations in the area. AVOID the lies and bait-​switch of this FRANCHISED location.

Horrible service! That at like they are going out of their way for you when you are the customer and should not get treated like that when you are paying good money for rentals. The staff here is not nice and I would not recommend going to this location!

Scheduled a complete hitch package online. I arrived early, my vehicle was immediately taken in and the hitch package was installed before my scheduled appointment time. UHaul employees are polite, professional, and able to answer any towing related question. I am very pleased with the service and would recommend this UHaul store.
