Great service, great food. They went the extra mile for my kids and made food that wasn’t on the menu(simple butter noodles).

Both the service and food were amazing. It’s a small place but the food packs a punch. Don’t forget to try a house salad with the homemade dressing, it’s something you’ve never tasted before. If I could rate six stars I would. I’m lucky I don’t live in San Antonio because I would be here multiple times a week!

I love finding little non-chain restaurants! This is definitely a hidden gem! The house salad dressing was delicious and unique, not your typical Italian dressing but still light. You can tell that everything is made fresh to order and the menu has a variety of Italian classics as well as a few un expected items. The owner seems like just a good person that truly cares about his business and his guests. I will definitely return!

I work down the street from this establishment and am very grateful for its presence in the neighborhood. It provides an obvious alternative to the other Italian joint in the surrounding area(Little Italy). The food is consistent and properly seasoned, not to mention very tasty. I’ve had many years working as a cook in the industry and I can tell the owner is the real deal and is passionate about his food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Outstanding Italian food. My husband got spaghetti with meat sauce and raved about the sauce. He said this sauce is by far one of his favorites. I had the Italian sampler. My dish was excellent as well. The price is very reasonable. We also received great service!

The food is amazing, good old school Italian. The service is excellent and the price is not bad either. This has become my «go to» to Italian restaurant, with a local neighborhood kind of feeling

Really enjoyed lunch of eggplant parmigiana. The sauce and pasta were a perfect accompaniment as was the salad. Fresh baked bread with a small cup of marinara sauce to dip it in sent me over the top. «I’ll be back»…

Tucked away in a little corner of a small shopping center you while find what I think is one of the best Italian food places in San Antonio. The staff is friendly, attentive and ready to provide you with a delicious homemade meal… PS, you will miss if you don’t look for it…

We ordered a pizza to be delivered. They told us 20 minutes. 45 minutes later we called them to see when it might get there. The gentleman who answered told us that the driver was there and that ‘we weren’t there’. Although comical, he was serious. We told him that the driver was most defiantly not at our house because we were home. Turns out they had the wrong address(like REALLY wrong). We asked if they could make the pizza fresh and they did. The pizza it’s self was very good! It alone would get 5 stars. We added an extra topping which cost $ 2. Not worth it… There was hardly any of the extra topping. Overall, pizza was really good. Overpriced for what we got and the time it took to get it. But defiantly worth a shot. Dine in may be better…

My mother & I LOVE this place! Fresh made garlic bread! My mother enjoyed her lasagna. The homemade house vinaigrette with salad was delicious. The cannoli was nice treat :) Staff was super sweet! Valentino himself was a pleasure to meet, so gracious and funny. We’ll definitely be going back soon!

Been there about 5 times and have never been disappointed. Every item ordered by everyone in my dining parties never fails. The place is tiny and rarely crowded, which worries this fan. Please try this quaint, high-quality-but-informal little gem. I bet you will return.

Nice, subdued atmosphere. They know how to do a Diavlo and that’s great in my book. Very nice people and good location.

Met up with family and a couple friends for lunch here today. Place was pretty empty with a couple other tables and I hope they get more business at dinner as I really like the owner. He was very friendly and seemed motivated to get the business rolling. My folks both ordered eggplant parmigian and said it was great. I had the chicken picatta and thought it had great flavor. My only complaint was that I wish the chicken cutlet was a bit larger. That being said, prices are very reasonable, considering you get a salad and garlic knots with your meal. I did try one piece of the pizza my friend ordered with sausage, mushrooms, and onions and really enjoyed the crust. I’m not from San Antonio, but next time I’m in town visiting, I plan on trying some other pizza options. Good luck this business and hoping the best!

Still working out the kinks. Food was fast and ok, but they don’t have a liquor license. The silverware is slightly better than plastic. Order for my wife was wrong, but didn’t wast to wait for a replacement.

This place has the best calzones I’ve ever had, well worth the money. I’ll be back for sure to try out more entrées. I think this place is run by Italians, awesome.
