Waiting for my metrolink between transfers. I cant rate this place seriously. Like all other Americanized express chinese food locations, chow mein and rice look flavorless and greasy. The entrée i got was So. Effing. Salty. Ice water is .25 and cup of ice is .35, thats impressive! Dehydrate em with salt and charge them to quench the thirst. I tend to like rating establishments based off of other same level establishments so i guess this Thai owned mom and pop location isnt too bad. ive seen worse. ill compromise with a 2 star, only because the pupusa place was closed next door and i didnt want to walk to johns burgers.

This food here is pretty cheap comparing to the other Chinese food restaurant like Panda Express. I was waiting for my train, so I decided to grab a quicky before my train gets here at 11:20. I grabbed the combo meal which comes with a two items and a soda. The total came out at about $ 7. Which I ordered rice and chowmein, beef broccoli, and the mushroom chicken. I have to say the food tasted delicious. If you want the food fresh cooked, come by 10 minutes after they’re opened which is at 10:30.

Good price, fast, and decent service. Food is better than panda express. Definably better than Wok n Grill nearby.

We were happy with the food and the cleanliness of the store. The orange chicken was very good, the rice was average but this place is the best we’ve found near our home. The price was ok and the servings were generous. We will come here again.

THOUGHT I FOUND A PLACE… NOPE! The prices have changed from the photos posted. Not enough choices, they don’t take AMEX, the box the food comes in is smaller than standard, there is a thin slimy coating over the choices I got… very nasty and distasteful.

I ordered the«Lunch Combo» which consists of half rice, half noodles, your choice of two sides(I went with broccoli beef and orange chicken) a soda and a fortune cookie for about $ 7.00. The«fried rice» was probably the worst attempt at fried rice I’ve ever had. In fact, the attempt was so poor that I still had clumps of plain white rice in it. It seriously seemed like they just took white rice, threw some peas and carrots in and drizzled soy sauce on top(instead of ACTUALLY frying all those ingredients in together). The noodles were even worse. I liked that they weren’t overly greasy, but I hated that they didn’t have anything but a «floury» flavor(I like«eggy» flavored noodles more). But what disappointed me the most was the sides I chose. My first bite of orange chicken was great. The piece I bit into was crunchy(since it was fried) and the glaze was tangy but sweet and had a definite orange taste to it. After that, every piece was soggy(cue«The Price is Right» «loser bell»…bum-bum-budum-bieeeeerrrrummm). My first bite of the broccoli beef(broccoli only in this bite) seemed promising. The broccoli was perfectly crisp, but cooked. The sauce wasn’t too watery or too thick, but more like a runny gravy. Then, my second bite(only beef) produced a rubbery piece of tasteless meat(the gravy had flavor, but not the meat). It had that little piece of cartilage stuck to it that made biting it(and attempting to chew it) so unappetizing. A few more bites in and I found another such piece of meat… I stopped eating at this point. I assume this place stays in business because it is right across the street from the Metrolink/train depot and it’s easily accessible for hungry travelers. If you aren’t restricted to public transportation and aren’t hungry, I’d suggest trying to find something else to eat.

Husband and I both had the Wonton Soup. It was very good. Great portion size for the price. The people there were very nice and the restaurant was very clean. We also got two of their egg rolls. I really enjoyed them, but my husband was hoping for meat inside. There were more of a spring roll. Over all very good.

Not what I had in mind. Place is not good. Only thing I ate was cream cheese wong tongs an the spicy chicken wings. Chow mein tasted like seafood and the green bean chicken tasted old. Will not be returning.

I loved the food. The chow mein is very delicious. The teriyaki chicken has really good flavor, and I love the orange chicken. Their prices are very reasonable… I highly recommend this place!

I came here with a few coworkers, I’m a teacher, and while everyone walked over to subway, I went to grab Chinese. The food looked fresh and smelled good, plus I’d been here before to grab an egg roll while waiting on a train, so I wasn’t opposed to eating there. I wouldn’t even have written a post except THESERVICEWASHORRIBLE. The girl serving my food didn’t even look me in the eye, she seemed annoyed as soon as I got to the counter. She rolled her eyes when I asked her to try the teriyaki chicken, and when I asked what she liked, she replied, «I don’t eat this food.» Ok, but did you have to say it with such disdain! When she asked if I wanted anything else, I cheerily said, «yes, for you to cheer up a little. It’s a beautiful day, no need to be down in the dumps. :)» she rolled her eyes, dropped my plate and walked away. Another younger girl took my payment. I understand that this area is known for random transients and ‘questionable’ people, but there’s no need to treat everyone that way. Have a better day! If you’re at the train station and hungry, go to Iron Horse inside the station, or subway two doors down. People smile there. :)

This is a place where you can find cheap and fresh Chinese food. They cook a small portion of every type of food, unlike other fast food. Therefore, their foods are always fresh! The chef also do special meals such as shrimp fried rice and wonton soup!

For where the place is at, this place is pretty good. It is located right next to the SNB train station as well as a Subway’s. I personally wasn’t in the mood for a sandwich so I decided to come here. The service there isn’t anything special. You just ordered and the cashier checks you out. Everything is already made, you just point and go. I didn’t see any special combo deals, but it wasn’t like there was anything too pricy. I personally preferred the chow main over the rice. The chow wasn’t greasy at all(I know, how can that be.) But it wasn’t so I didn’t feel bad about eating it. The mash rooms were really juicy which caught me by surprised. I think they actually cook their food rather then just deep feeling them. Which is good. =) The only bad thing about this place is that they charged you for a cookie. It’s only 10 cents, but I wanted a free cookie rather then having to buy my luck. = P Good thing: Because the meals do not come with a soda, you can pick between a fountain drink or a can for almost the same price.

This place was alright, we were dropping off a friend at the metro, so we ate here. I got teriyaki chicken and chicken wings. They were both delicious. But I thought the teriyaki was boneless and I bit into a tiny bone. The place is pretty small too. I don’t mind though. Food was very delicious, I will probably come back if we’re in the area.

I’m rating the shrimp fried rice, string beans and chicken wit onions, and their fried chicken. My mom brings this food home once a week so I can’t rate the service. They give u large portions for a low price the shrimp fried rice has so much flavor as well as the 10x better here than at the magic wok.

Was in San Bernardino, stop at Hong Kong Express this place was nice on the outside as well as inside, the quality of food you recived from what you pay was great not to pricey, the the staff were cool too. The only problem I found with this place is way to small inside, about ten to me doing what I love to do best the place got really crowded, I mean people were standing around with there food waiting for a table, only nine tables some with two chairs and the other with four chairs, I started thinking is the food that good? or this was the only decent place in the area? The food was good and there are other places to too.
