Terrible Customer Service. The employees and«closing manager» are very unfriendly . The place is empty since they moved to the new location(where Pudleys used to be. They do NOT respect listed and advertised«dine in «times ! They start cleaning an hour before closing and then tell you«take outs’ only. My husband and I were regulars at the Prior location where we had attended at least 20 years. Now this NEW place is a TOTAL different place. We tried it once and didn’t like it much, But because we have been customers x sooo many years, we missed it and wanted to give it another chance today. after all, perhaps it was just a bad day! Tough luck! They practically kicked us out Sad It us clear they usually have bad days. We won’t go back and this story will travel!

Pizza was not the best or worst I have ever had, but a little disappointing. Pepperoni was overcooked(curled up and slightly burnt) Salad bar was decent although a little pricey. Staff was friendly and courteous. Large Flat screen was a plus. Suggest better quality control on Pizza using Round Table as a benchmark.

I decided to try out Mountain Mike’s Pizza a couple of days ago as I wanted something better that the run of the mill stuff that you get from chain stores like Papa John’s, Dominos or Pizza Hut. This Mountain Mike’s is located on El Camino Real with plenty of street parking right outside the restaurant. At the peak lunch hour the huge place was completely empty save for one person. The menu is to the right of the ordering station and seems to cramp a lot of information in a small place, so if you don’t know what you want before hand it would be very difficult for you to get your order right just looking at the menu board. Anyway I hurriedly settled on a large BQQ Bacon Cheeseburger($ 24.95) and a large Garlic Chicken Combo($ 24.95). The price looked a little steep for a large pizza but still it’s just about 15% more than the regular list price of a large pizza from say Papa John’s. In about 10 minutes both the pizza’s were ready and I was on my way. My first impression was that both the pizza’s were huge. I mean one of these can easily feed an entire family of 4 for lunch when pared with a light salad and drink. The second impression was that both were white sauce based selections. It would be good if the menu highlighted the white v/s red pizza’s a little better so that a more suitable selection could be made. Anyway the good news is that they were made really well. They were toasted with perfect amount of crunch to hold the heavy sauce and toppings. No complaints. I really liked the Garlic Chicken Combo but was not a fan of the BBQ Cheeseburger as it’s BBQ sauce lacked punch and beef meatballs were bland and under-cooked. Overall I feel that these guys do decent pizza’s for the price so I will keep coming back periodically. I would rate this as a 3.5 stars that I’m rounding up to a 4.

I cut my teeth on pizza over 65 years ago and still consider it my favorite pie. Alas, I think I have found the worst-tasting pizza I have ever encountered! Because there was no parking in town, my friend and I ventured onto El Camino and because it’s a new restaurant in town I suggested it. Plenty of street parking should have been the first clue. I gave it one star because it was clean inside Only one other patron was there while we were. In a town where restaurants are packed at lunch, this should have been my second clue. The hostess talked us into the lunch buffet, unlimited soft drink, salad bar and pizza by the slice for around 9.00. The salad bar had all the fresh ingredients that Costco can provide, OK, but nothing special. The pizza is simply awful. The sauce is spaghetti sauce served on an overcooked crust with blah toppings. My friend agreed so I don’t think we’ll ever try that place again. Note to owner: Mike, turn out a quality product and people will beat a path to your door. Your new restaurant is EMPTY of customers at the height of lunch hour in a town that goes out to eat a lot. You’re not in an Interstate where you can survive on drive-by customers; San Carlos is not a drive-by town. Step it up if you want to stay open.

This place is new, its moved from its redwood city location closed up shop and came here. I haven’t noticed it too busy but I do think the pizza has gotten better. They also have video games just like they used too. The bathrooms are clean. They have a lot of workers and they make the pizza fast. The workers are very patient and helpful also. I usually order to go. The salad bar is pretty much the same but its good, very clean and all you really need in a salad bar.

Appointments+daughter’s gymnastics+waiting for prescription = pizza for dinner night. Nice new location. People are friendly. Pizza was good. Salad bar was ok, but good enough for us. Nothing super special, but a good place to feed your family in a pinch.

So sad. The pizza was lukewarm in the middle at best and the cheese barely melted. Quality has definitely gone down hill.

It’s a mountain mikes so you know what you are getting in to. The location has definitely been updated since taking over Pudleys and is overall spacious and enjoyable. Seems a lot cleaner than the old Redwood City location. Plenty of flat screens for the games which is a huge plus. Basic salad bar that is nice just to snack on. A pretty enjoyable and clean mountain mikes location.

We had our son’s birthday party here today. The pizza was delicious, the place was welcoming and clean. The staff was extra helpful with all the kids. We had a great time and we’ll definitely be back for the next birthday!

My family has been getting Mountain mikes for 20 years. They have never let us down and with their new location… I only appreciate them more! Great selection of taps! And they have really great deals for those nights when we totally don’t have time for dinner TY is super friendly and totally took care of us when we showed up as a work party last minute. Also the cheapest place to get lunch and a beer! My fav is Devils canyon blonde! Which btw… is hard to find in San Carlos on tap. Everywhere carries full boar and it’s a little too heavy for me.

We have gone two times now. First time the guy at the counter did not seem concerned that the ice machine was broken. About the time our pizza came so did someone to give us some ice. Pizza was very good both times and on the second visit the ice machine was working fine. Lots of big screen TV’s and a good selection of beer on draft. We will be going back for sure. O! and on the second visit a different person behind the counter was much more attentive and friendly.

Hmm new locale which I think replaced the old one in RWC? it took over what I think was Pudley’s. Pike’s Peak pizza was undercooked so the cheese wasnt totally melted. Which is weird as the crust was there. Ice machine broken, bathroom not in order. Looks like they need a lot of work. It’s a good space for watching sports but if they dont keep it up, it’s not worth going to
